Yeah I did it pre-Sothe demote so there was less of a dilemma, it was Hana promote or nothing.

The new TT maps are actually kinda annoying with all the forests and the strong emphasis on a cavalry squad. I did get the Drive Attack seal and upgraded it swiftly and discovering I'd actually managed to cap on Sacred Coins at 999 hmmm. Who knew it was so low? I might have to upgrade some other stuff just so I don't cap again.

And super excited about Hinoka! Gonna try to be good and see what the legendary banner and Golden Week have to offer but a flying archer is something I just need. Shigure seems like a surefire demote which is cool, his lance, stance and ward are all something that would be welcome in the pool. I think Nanna is gonna drop for sure, which she had Wrathful or Dazzling. :c

oh, i think their art is nice! (their shading especially, the shiny hair vs the soft fabric is some good stuff.) i just can't get over the difference between their voices and their faces x:

Started with 153 orbs and am down to 64 but I got me a +att -res Hinoka :D slightly more than I wanted to spend but I have my kinshi warrior princess :D now to decide if I’m gonna a support her with bunny Xander or Summer Xander

Started with ~250 orbs, and now down to 13 orbs and a 4.75% pity rate. I got Hardin after the 80 first orbs spent. I have no self control. Time to work on these GHB quests and chain challenges I guess! :') I can only blame me when the Golden week celebration and Legendary banner time will come... xD

- Haha, I usually spend my sacred coins as soon as I get 100 or so. Seals are fun, and sometimes are the difference between beating a battle, and losing. If you haven't already, DD, CD, and QR are definitely worth it, they are life savers! The only thing I have maxed is Universal Crystals. There's literally no way to use them unless I run out of all the other crystals! of which I have 200k of each. I managed to summon Hinoka, maybe I can finally get some more of these flying quests now. I can use her as mage bait, since the rest of my fliers have incredibly low res.

- I hear ya there, and like I said, Raquesis' voice does not picture how she sounded in my head at all while I was playing geneaology. (I never would have married her to the thief with that attitude! lol)

- OMG please turn Fjorn into a giant ice monster! That would be epic. I would hate her less :P Congrats on Hinoka! I actually managed to get her for free! Sometimes my karma comes around, just means I won't summon another unit I want for another 4 or 5 months. RIP L'Ephraim. She's -def +res..her def is SO BAD, but she'll be a decent mage killer, and at least she isn't - att. OTL.

Congrats on your lucky pull! Hopefully it continues and allows you to get a L'Ephraim. As much as I would love a Ryouma alt, I am now secretly hoping that he's not the Legendary hero this month so I can save a bit more.

I haven't pulled on the last few hero fest banners because I've already had the heroes so I am hoping that the golden week banner isn't someone I really want (I've just about come to terms with not getting Horse Chrom. Just)

Well, tried to pull on the new banner...failed to pull anything with my saved up orbs and finally pulled a surprise Hardin. Not one of the new guys but I guess I can't complain as I didn't have him.

Also pulled a spare Eldigan earlier for my free summon on a different banner.

I think the ones I've done are... Attack, Speed, Close Def, Distant Def, Heavy Blade, QR, Savage Blow, Hone Speed, Res Ploy and Guidance. And Drive Attack now, too. Also have the Deflect Magic and Missles seals at 2 but never really used them. I've been thinking about Brash Assault, Hone Attack, Def Ploy, Panic Ploy and Attack Smoke but can usually make it work with what I have so always hesitate haha (and am so bad at using Ploys whoops). I think I'll do Brash soon for Desperation shenanigans and Hone Attack would be handy, too, as Azura has an iron grip on the Hone Speed seal haha.

Congrats on Hinoka to those who got her! Did a full summon on two greens and three blues but nothing exciting (also upgraded my barracks to 505 whoops I have issues).

- Do you really think they care about canon? I mean, in my Conquest play through, Xander ran off with Selena to another world, so I don't think the Nohrians care much about their 'king' any more. TBH, this is Heroes, canon was never even invited to this party! Gunnthra's still just chillin' in the barracks back in Askr. No big.

- :( That is sad, and you are the second person on this board to be pity broken by Hardin! And he's a good candidate to be on the ranged counter banner later too. I'm sorry dude.

- Seems like most of the same ones I've upgraded too, just not res ploy, I haven't upgraded any of the ploy seals. Brash assault I've upgraded, for the BA + Desperation shananigans, much fun, but rather hard to actually get to work. I also upgraded the attack smoke one (Sigurd has it, for spd smoke + attack smoke) I've also upgraded poison strike and savage blow to put on healers/splash damage units. Thanks to the recent quests and the Squad seals, I've been trying to build a set of +1 +2 and +3 for all stats. I should probably upgrade the drive attack one, it's pretty useful. I use deflect magic a lot (there's a lot of slow units with low res), deflect missile and melee don't see as much use. I think I left them both at level 2 for now. Hardy Baring still comes in handy a lot too, it also breaks desperation, which seems to be it's more useful task now than vantage, I always try to keep one of my arena units with it just in case.

Ehh, looking at glass half full. I rather be pitty broken by someone I don't have then be pitty broken by a spare. At lest these units will be added to the pool as well unlike the sesonal ones.

Only bad side is if I plan to level up a bunch of new 5* together rather then try the other tactic, this batch will be a pain. I finally got Zephiel promoted so if I level Hardin with him, that's two armored units on a team I'll be leveling together ( potentaly without buffs to up their speed minus a dancer if I don't have a full group of lv1s)

Edit: Just checked his stats and for a added silver lining he's Def boon/ Speed Bane which I think are his perfered IVs

Hinoka came home!!! I waited until I was at 20 orbs to try again. Got 4 colourless orbs and 1 blue so it was perfect (and made me glad I waited until 20 XD). First colourless orb I pick and she's there. I didn't ever bother to open the rest! The splurging was finally worth it haha. Now I need to get started on GHB quests and finish the TT to save some orbs again!

So you got pitybroken by Hardin too! xD I wasn't too upset about getting him though. I didn't have him yet and a DC armor will surely be useful for some of the GHB quests I didn't try yet. He'll probably get some use. c: And mine had good IVs too! (+Atk/-Spd)

- Yeah, at least it was a new unit. You should try the special training maps for training multiple units at once. I bet Zephiel and Hardin with a couple healers, or healer/dancer combo could find some nice choke points to hold.

True. I do have enough feathers to promote another 4* I have in waiting to 5* thanks to those rough pulls but I want to see if I pull one of the new units when I get more orbs later before I promote if I decide on putting the lv1 5* together at lest early on. Last thing I need is to promote a Green in waiting and get Kana or worce still end up blue heavy because I promoted that Mae and then get Shigure ( though when I go with the dancer combo for leveling the armors, I'm likely going to be blue heavy anyways with Azura or dancer Shigure.

- I still find training units one at a time to be the most efficient though. One special training map, and two TT maps put Hinoka at level 40. Every time I try to dual train, one of them ends up dead and wasting any EXP/SP they earned, and it's almost always the one who got more kills.

Managed to get all the BHB quests in one go, without any guides! And it only took three tries. Yay orbs.

Point, x_x though I've had scenarios where the enemy AI desides to get itself killed on a max leveled unit that didn't need the training at all. >_> I was trying to get Bun Chrom in the lv10-20s up to a blue sword for example and the darn thing decided to blunder into Azura instead, denying him a level in the process.

Hence why I bring a number of units to level to make sure progress is happening somewhere I guess, though around the late 20s or in the lv30s it probably would be better to stick to one as the emanys start to become a pain and deny the softer units exp by simply killing them instead of blundering into someone who doesn't need it.

- I still can't actually bring up the enemy phase music in my head. I pretty much never play with sound on.

- Yeah, that happens sometimes, and sometimes the support units have to kill some things to keep the training unit alive. I tend to use Inigo as my training dancer, since most of the time if he gets hit over the training unit, he doesn't attack back. He also doubles as a stat booster. I'm curious about this blue sword unit you found though, do tell? lol. When training guys at low levels it's sometimes worth it to unequip the support units entirely, or equip them with base level weapons/fortify seals so they don't kill things as easily. (just gotta remember to re-equip them later)

I guess I could do that but I'm afraid I'll forget to reequip the higher leveled units for that :p, I guess I could just use my seasonal dancer version of Shigure as like Inigo he won't fight back unless the enemy is ranged. However my dancer Shigure has kinda bad ivs ( speed bane) so he'd have to get swaped for Azura after lv25 I think.

I am tempted to bring out Amelia though if I still decide to level Haridin and Zephiel together due to Armor March as a added bit of help
