Got a +atk -hp Olwen on my free pull. Pretty happy since I didn't want to spend more than 15 orbs on that banner, and I don't have to worry about not having a bonus unit for starting the next TT! I was considering maybe inheriting Gronnblade + on Love Abounds Lilina but Olwen would probably do the work better and without needing the inheritance. Decisions decisions!

Also a quick little PSA because I almost missed it, but you can already register for the Grand Conquest event in the Events tab. Quite easy to miss if you don't pay attention to the news since there isn't the "!" that show when where is a new event in the menu. c:

- Oh, that actually just popped up for me, It wasn't there this morning (like 2 hours ago) I don't really understand the Grand Conquest thing, we'll see I guess.

I got Nana on my free circle (3 red orbs, and 1 green were summoned first... ALL 3s, and ALL units new to the 3* pool OTL) DIdn't bother checking her IVs, I don't think it really matters on healers all that much. Lief seems like he's built for chain challenge/Tempest Trial (start every map with full HP), but otherwise pretty meh overall, Light Brand doesn't have build in DC, which seems odd since Light Brand doubles as a ranged weapon in most titles. Reinhardt is kind of the star of this banner (again). I dunno if I'll keep pulling though.

- Just waiting for Grani's shield to be a seal OTL RIP. Reinhart only good counter to Reinhart. lol

- Yeah, the new art is much better than the old... those hands! cringe

I did the whole Nowi/Tiki map with Pain+ & Savage Blow & 2x dancers and reposition. It's a very clustered map, super easy for that strat to work.

- I think the blessing quests are easier cus you can do them on Lunatic, instead of having to do it on Infernal OTL. I was really hoping for Gunnthra free after chapter 7, but Uh, nope, guess not. I did summon her so I do have the option to use her for her blessing, but she's -att, so not super useful. I lack fire hero, Epharim why u no come home??

- Yup, she's still chillin in my barracks.... (Also, we need some blue tome breaker too, so next blue tome user with Blarwolf and B.Tome Breaker please.)

and ugh, yeah, we need more blue tome breaker fodder too >:c i still kind of feel bad about using two f.robins to give inigo both blue tome breaker and gronnwolf, but no one else has those skills! there's loads of skills that should be more accessible imo... starting with anti-cavalry skills, since they insist on madness like The Reinhardt, p:

Managed to pull Green Olwen from the banner this morning with my free orbs but I also pulled a spare uncorrupted Celicia as well :/. Me and spares lately geez. Any SI uses for her to hold onto or should I just merge her?

Edit: and Olwen is a Atk Bane/ Spd Boon o_0 what is it with me and this sort of blessed and cursed IV?

- Yeah, Nowi ate two f.Robins to get both B.Tome beaker and Ignis. The latter is available through other units, but yeah, Gronwolf is only available else wise through Rahjat, whom I don't have.

- TBH I have no idea what Celica has in terms of skills. Another unit who has eluded me (not that I've tried much) With -spd +att AoE specials tend to be worthwhile. At least you aren't getting a bunch of -att units like me over here.

x_x Last I checked if I get a bad IVed 5* it's going to be a -Spd rather then a -att, though I've had those. Usually I get a "neutral" spread like a def boon and hp bane or a res boon, def bane ( granted these are more "neutral" on a non mage, non armored units)

after much struggle i finally got spring alfonse ;o; +res/-def is Very meh but he came home and that's what's important. gonna save orbs for now since i've heard old reinhardt is also a bonus for the tempest and........ i don't............. need the new reinhardt................... rhajat isn't even a viable source for gronnwolf if you ask me x: she comes with distant defense, which is the better fodder skill imo.

i wouldn't merge celica unless you want a +10 celica someday, she's one of the few sources for distant defense o:

- True. Too bad she's not 'old' enough to be demoted to 3-4* (is she even in the 4* pool? I don't have her at all)

she's still 5*-only, celica is the older distant defense unit but she's 5*-only too. as much as i'd hope otherwise, i'm pretty sure anyone with close/distant defense isn't going to be demoted... basically any interesting A-skill is 5* only (close/distant defense, close/distant counter, bond/breath/stance skills)

- Michaiah's in there too with the distant def, also 5* only. They demoted L&D to 4* Maybe Distant/close Def will get there eventually, at least we have seals for them. Counters and breaths I can see staying at 5* exclusive but I wouldn't be surprised if they made some of the stance/bond skills 4* (technically Sturdy Stance is available from a 4* unit, but not a summonable one). Most of the good skills for B and C are also 5* locked.

I would love another Celica or Rhajat, I could do with DD3 on my Xander's A slot skill. I can then run DD3/Vantage/Quick Riposte on him. As it is I only have 1 Celica, 1 Rhajat and 1 Micaiah and the collector in me will not let me fodder them.

Grabbed the new Reinhardt, mine is +def -res I think but I don't mind, I am just happy I got him.

Still in denial about Gunnthra, I mean she totally helped me out with the wind quest yesterday so...

that's true, i forgot they demoted sothe. it just feels like they add loads of high-value skills and keep them in the 5* pool, i guess... fingers crossed they demote more fancy-skill units o:

I was lucky to pull a +Spd Celica and do like using her. She needed a big revamp to get up to speed, though, and really appreciates LnD3 to double and deal significant damage. First of all I tried DD3 + Renewal but she isn't really cut out to play defensively. I moved over to Desperation but I'd still love a Renewal seal. I kinda thought it'd be an early addition so surprised we haven't seen it yet.

I'm... kinda really enjoying the Grand Conquests, they're crazy but I like the concept. There's a few kinks to iron out so I'm looking forward to the next iteration already. I'm team Alfonse and we had a couple of strong onslaughts but ended up with only 7 camps at the end - the final rounds were brutal for us. Also apparently my Cordelia has helped out 297 times haha, she was at like 4 after the feature rolled out.

Forgot to say congrats on your new Bun-fonse as well! I haven't actually rolled on the new Spring banner. Part of me is tempted to but it has the old summoning pool on it so... I haven't actually used my new Reinhardt yet XD

I was on team Anna and we somehow got a late surge - every time I logged on we were last, but I got quite a nice feather reward so it looks like team Anna truly came out while I was sleeping.

I'm now on team Sharena and we are being beaten similarly badly, oh well!

New GHB quests are going well, I've cleared most of them (I'm leaving the quests that give an extra unit until I have more space in my barracks (haha, like that will happen). The only one I've really struggled with so far is Valter, he is hard without a dedicated flier team. Also, from the old one... I really can't do Ursula's. I've tried so many times with Flier and Horse Emblem. She kicks my butt every time :C

- How do you change teams? I thought we were just assigned whatever were stuck. I've been fighting for Alphonse, but I'd rather be on team Shareena... even though she's losing.

- Now that I have it, and know what you mean, the banner is bothering me sa well. OTL.

I didn't managed to complete the quests for Arvis or Valter, didn't give either THAT much effort though. My cat had to do some surgery on friday, and I've been busy taking care of her and driving back and forth to the pet hospital.
I still need to do a bunch of the old GHB quests still, but there's time, and they don't cost stamina anymore, so I'm sure I'll figure them out eventually. Still haven't managed ANY quests with fliers. OTL.

I switched my front unit at a friend's request to Tana, because her Guidance and Reposition help out with armour rival domains.

i don't know how i feel about grand conquest just yet. i like the rival domains map, and i think co-op things like this are fun in theory, but i wish you'd stick with the same team the whole time, and i wish we got more lances. also the gifts for helping out are not great lol. i keep getting arena medals and it's like... i have 16k medals, you can keep those lmao

oh man, i'd love a renewal seal ;o; & fingers crossed i run into a better celica at some point; i'm having fun with the new lilina so some other options for my red tome would be neat. (also i know i'm at least a few of those friends helped! cordelia has been so good for grand conquests omg)

Seems like it's random. I went from Alfonse to Sharena and we're being absolutely dominated by team Anna this time around haha, have barely made a dent on her. ;o; I'm almost at tier 20 though, have been reluctant to spend any of my lances before the final battle. Some people seem to be posting high scores continuously and I don't know how they're doing it! I was playing on Infernal but went down to Lunatic after struggling to make much progress on some of the maps.

And sorry to hear about your cat! Hope she's mending up, pet stress is the worst.

Haha happy to hear she's helped! I changed out Poison Strike for Wings of Mercy recently, I keep seeming to run into these clutch situations where I desperately need some support on the front lines and she's come through a couple of times.

- WoM is SO much more useful on these maps than Drag Back. It seems like all my ally units have drag back. It's getting annoying. I'm also struggling to make progress on these maps, I've been playing Lunatic, and have been luck to get all the camps, let alone a fortress. Armour units always seem to spawn on the fortress so I can never take them down to get a hit on the fortress. And Everyone and their dog seems to have Vantage to prevent me from getting those last two health off them.
