I'm not sure, I think the game changed it for it? I started with Anna, then moved to Sharena and now I'm back on Anna.

I have to admit I've been slacking on GC as little, I am on tier 8 at the moment. I have no idea how anyone plays more than hard, I can barely get to the enemy fort before being swamped and wiped out.

I beat all of Camus's quests today, I just have his lunatic to do. Micaiah was great to deal with Zephiel yesterday.

- Yeah, I dunno how they decide who changes, maybe it has something to do with score? None of my other friends nor I have been moved from our original teams, but we all play a lot. They're all aready T20. I'll probably use my lance things to try and get there today. Want thems orbs. I've been playing Lunatic, I've occasionally captured the fort, but mostly just get the camps and maybe one hit or two on the forts. I dunno if I would score better on hard if I could take the forts or if it's better to stick to Lunatic and get S rank in everything else.

Camus Infernal is giving me trouble. So is Saias. I'll have to see if any online guides pop up later.

I used fliers for Saias and Camus Infernal. Found Saias pretty easy with Galeforce Cordelia, but Camus took a tad more ingenuity and a handful of failed attempts haha. Had to Goad my Cordelia so she could take out Camus on the first turn then Galeforce out of there. Finished the blessing quests, too. Berkut and Valter took a few attempts - mostly for my wind team, which is comprised of back-up cav units (Camus, Eirika 2.0, LA!Roy and work in progress Elise (come home Genny ;o;)) - but zero stamina costs made it easy to brute force. Been slowly training a 5* Oscar I pulled a couple of months back this week, probs just going to give him Darting Blow for a cheap option to round him out.

My fliers still need work. I did manage to skirt around Narcian's map with them and finally got those two orbs. My frist GHB Elite quest that I successfully did with my fliers. I don't have NY!Azura, and although Goad fliers is pretty good, I don't have it on any of my good fliers. Part of me wants to kill NYCamilla for ward fliers, but the collector inside of me says NO! We really need to get those skills on fodder units. Even after the pool change, Hone and Ward fliers are still 5* only. I was hoping for some of the old fates units to be demoted, Hinoka, Ryouma, Takumi, Leo, and Elise should all be put in the 4* pool IMO. Maybe not Ryouma since he's OP status Lord, and Xander isn't available for summon at all, but the rest of them are pretty outclassed now by other units (except maybe Elise... Leo was outclassed already from the start) And I don't have any of them. Let them join Sakura and Camilla in the 4* pool. I've summoned both Sakura and Camilla at 5* (and 4*) but none of the rest.

- I need Cordelia advice, I summoned another one on the new banner as well, She is +att -HP, my other one (who has the firesweep lance +, unlearned as of yet) is +spd -res. I want to make her 5*, but which one should I use, + att or +spd?

For the final round of the Grand Conquests I ended up on team Sharena again. Did much better than previous two attempts but totally ceded our advantage to Alfonse towards the end. Working with others is... stressful and he broke through one of the key defence tiles in the final rounds, so ended up with an extra tile to us. Anna literally had no territory at the end haha, poor thing. Also makes you appreciate how weird some people build their units, like revamping units who don't really need it. Saw a Brave Ike with Steady Stance 3 rather than Breath which was... a choice.

I went for +Spd personally. From what I've seen most recommend +Atk if you're going Brave and +Spd if you're going Firesweep as doubling is the priority. I think Life and Death is kinda the key component, though, and she really needs either it or Swift Sparrow to make the build work. I went Life and Death just cos it's so much more attainable. Originally went Draconic Aura but Galeforce with the Heavy Blade seal is a lot more versatile imo.

My fliers squad is a lot more offensively oriented. I run Fortify on Cordelia to buff Camilla's blade tome but otherwise think a combination of Hones (easier said than done) and Goads works best.

Also lol pulled my third Olwen on the freebie, crappy IV so got merged with my other average ones.

i think my... big complaint, i guess? about grand conquests is that ultimately there isn't a point in saving your stamina lances since you can't communicate with your teammates or flip areas on your own unless you're some crazy whale playing infernal, i guess??? i did finally end up on team alfonse at the end though, and we finished with 8 spaces so that was nice.

i used to play marvel puzzle quest and when they did pve stuff, you could pick a start/end time that worked for your timezone (like, there'd be a few different start times, all a few hours apart). that would've been nice here, i think, so you'd at least be on the same "schedule" as everyone else and you didn't end up being screwed over by all your teammates going offline at the end of a round or whatever.

otherwise it's like tap battle. not what i signed up for, but a nice lil distraction.

also i need the tempest to start so i stop doing weird things. i need to merge reinhardt or build some of my other blue cavalry units, but instead of doing anything useful, i gave a laslow a whole bunch of skills 'cause i want a more balanced suekane team for clearing content p: (at this point i think it's going to be frederick / camus / laslow / inigo... or maybe valentines hector / laslow / inigo / summer frederick. i don't like not having a blue unit on the second team but i don't want to build odin.) i hope suekane gets to draw a red cavalry unit or a flying unit someday.

- Yeah. it was like cooperative, but not? I didn't like that you couldn't chose which area you could help out with, some areas had more strategic advantage than others.

- I think I'll go with +Spd then, I already put the feathers in to get 5* Roderick to give her the firelance+. Darting or death blow might also be a good option. Swift Sparrow would be the best, but I have no fodder for that. I have no fodder for L&D either, I should get rid of all the crap in my barracks.

My barracks are full again with all these GHB units, at least the 0 stamina maps have been giving me a fairly steady stream of feathers to promote the more useful ones.

i've successfully ignored new-reinhardt/temptation and saved up a hundred orbs for the first time in ages ;o; i almost hope the next banner is also a batch i'm not too interested in, just so i can save up more haha

ugh, i hated that the most. i feel like it wasn't as bad on the latter two maps, but seeing sharena basically always have four areas locked down bc of the choke point position on the first map really made me grumpy p:

- Yeah, they need to rework the maps a bit I think for the GC. There was a point in time where Sharena had I think 20 areas controlled, and yet only had 3 areas that bordered other territory, where Alphonse only held 5 but had 7 or 8 areas bordering, so our resources were stretched thinner, AND we were down.

I promoted a Hana to 5* for it and stand by that; the speed allows her to double and hasten Galeforce procs, while the attack guarantees she reaches the benchmark to activate Heavy Blade. She's definitely paid back on that investment and stands as one of my favourite units to use. I'm not sure which other projects you have at the moment, though! I have like 200k feathers saved up currently and don't know how to spend 'em, thinking about promoting Saias for fun but like... another blue infantry mage is the last thing I need. At least he does something a little different from the others, though.

Still kinda iffy about TT changes. I want something to grind! Once you've done your three matches a day you're basically on course for the 50k so shrug, really.

This new banner is tempting! I don’t have Sonya, but an extra Ayra or Lyn would be good for swift sparrow. Currently got 143 orbs (is record for me) and I’m sorely tempted but I’m going to try and hold out to see who the new heroes are and what golden week has to offer.

I need help with my Caeda. A while back I pulled a 5* one and now she has a refine I’ve been slowly working on her. I did realise though that she is -spd but +res. Even with -spd she hits 34 without buffs and I could put darting blow on her, but I’m not sure. I have a few 4* Caedas but the they all are a bit weird in the IV department - I do have a +spd one but she’s also -att... heh.

Grand conquests... I got bored to be honest, I didn’t get beyond tier 8. Was switched back to team Anna for the final round and we didn’t do so great. I don’t really see the need the for lances, would have been nice if they’d use duelling crests. I have a ton of those that I will never need unless I spam the arena one day for medals.

I’m using my feathers to put some merges on my Oboro. I’m sad she’s seen as a bad unit, she’s an amazing physical tank and if I park her on a defence tile nearly everything pings off her.

so! a shigure in the permanent pool (flying lance), a hinoka alt (flying archer), and shiny new female kana (green infantry dragon). and then male kana as the ghb, and kaze as... probably a tempest trial reward. neat o:

and gosh, hinoka has flier formation and flier guidance. i love using flier formation with elincia, and i love my guidance seal so... hinoka is super tempting. i don't know if i want to roll on this banner yet (might wait to see what the legendary banner looks like first), but i'm really glad i didn't go after reinhardt now!

yeah! i get that it'd be a bad match if you're unlucky and one of the opposing armies pushes really hard, but there were definitely better ways to do those maps. guess we'll see what happens next time o:

(Also secretly holding out hope that means Ryouma might be the legendary hero, his King version on the cipher cards is lit but if we are getting the Kanas then part of me thinks it might be Corrin.)

Kana is so cute, and I need Hinoka because flying archer (and about damn time she had an alt!)! I care a little less about Shigure since I think he could be the one being demoted after this banner is over so I could get him later... Since I'm up to almost 220 orbs saved (+ add the 20 from the new chapter), I'm really tempted to pull on this new banner tomorrow :o I'll try to have a limit because I want to keep some for whatever Golden week has to offer/future Legendary banner!

tempest unit boost gives me 70 hp/70 atk fred... i wish he could always be this buff ;o;

i've got my fingers crossed for you and and (i'm guessing) ! i let myself roll a little bit on reinhardt's banner and got one red orb in three tries so i'm taking that as a sign to hold off on hinoka's banner, at least until the next announcement :p

and ryoma's the only fates royal without any alts now, isn't he? i sure hope he gets something fun soon ;w;

- If I get a Soothe she could get L&D 3 too. I'll probably pull some colourless for Hinoka on the new banner. She looks interesting, flier guidance and SE against armours. I hope they demote Shigure, get some ward fliers in the reg. pool. Saias feels like Blue Arvis to me, I think I have enough blue mages. Next GHB unit I would promote would probably be Lyon. I do lack in the red mage department. I've never summoned a 5* red mage I just realized, they were all promoted. lol, yeah, I'm already at 30k points in the TT. I could probably spend my stamina on other things, but it's good training for Nanna.

- I'm excited for Shigure, I do home he ends up in the regular pool too. (although, a bit disappointed he isn't a singer/dancer) Hinoka looks fun, and Kana! Finally! She's so cute! With the ward dragon skill though, she's not likely to get demoted, I think they want to keep the dragon buff skills in 5*. Dragon emblem is already OP enough.

- Yes, give us legendary Ryouma! He can join the 'power creep'd myself' crew! And then he can FINALLY also have an alt.

- I'm glad I've been saving too. I was going to pull more for Sonya/Lyn/Ayra, but the only one I'm missing is Sonya. Lyn and Ayra are good for skills, but I don't need them. I'm going to wait and see what the next couple banners have in store for us.

kana is really really cute!!! that artist can be hit-or-miss for me (lachesis... is not my favorite, neither is est), but this tiny child is So Cute omg. i hope her counterpart is just as cute! i agree though, i think (hope) shigure'll be demoted instead of kana.

(though, i think it's lame that girl kana's The Princess and boy kana is... The Spawn lmao. they should've done matching titles again, like they did with the morgans!)

- lol, I didn't notice the titles. Makes it sound like male Kana is some sort of demon child. Also, The Princess, doesn't really fit female Kana anyway, so that is weird. Speaking of Princesses though, Hinoka's weapon name is forever going to make me thing of Xena. I don't mild Raquesis, and I think Est is cute. I do really love Shigure's art too. Excited for this banner.

I enjoy the rivalry between Xander and Ryoma (or what they tease of it). It will bring me endless amusement if Ryouma's alt is OP and serious, while Xander's still walking around Askr in his speedos and a bunny hat.

But yes I have everything crossed for Legendary Hoshido King Ryouma :D

I like F!Kana's artist for characters like Mist and Kana, but the style doesn't fit so much for Lachesis (and her voice).

Interested to see who demotes tomorrow. Popular money's on Nanna but with the 4-5 pool being empty, I wonder if they will demote Olwen as well to start replenishing the pity breakers.

- Nanna would be good to demote, I really like the restore staff, I want to put it on some of my other healers. Raquesis' voice in Heroes really bothers me, it's not at all how I pictured she would sound when I was playing the game.
