Sadly, I don't own my GBA anymore (gave it to my brother years ago) and I lost my FE7 cartridge... If the cartridges weren't so expensive/hard to find I'd totally buy a secondhand GBA just to enjoy playing the games again on a console! Well for now I've downloaded an emulator on my phone and I've actually started playing Sacred Stones yesterday, it kinda does the trick!

How are you doing with this week's Grand Hero battle guys? I struggled a lot to win the Hard map, I don't know yet if I'm gonna try the Lunatic one. Getting the 4* Ursula would be really useful so I don't have to spend 2K feathers on her though. So it's really tempting!

I'm making almost no progress with the Grand Hero battle... I feel like I need a good green tome user and my current one is still under-leveled and I don't really want to put in all the time to grind.

Are you using RobinF? She's super effective against Ursula thanks to her colour + anti-cavalry comps! I think Cecilia could do the work too (my bf managed to do the Lunatic map with her), but Robin is really the most effective one I think! If that can be of any help here's the strategy I found on reddit and used, it helped me greatly for the hard map, haven't tried Lunatic yet (my Subaki still lacks some defence points). I would never have thought of using Subaki and watching the video made me realize that I positioned my units wrong too!

I just ended up snatching the 3* Ursula in the end and... not attempting her Lunatic map. I could have maaaybe done it, I had a couple of units that would've worked but I've been away and didn't have the laptop or resources right in front of me so didn't feel confident tackling it, but EH it's over now. It's great that these strategies are coming out though. :D

Excited about Skill Inheritance coming tomorrow! I wanna see how everything works out and how crazy everything becomes haha. I was so happy to read the developer's insights this morning, it's awesome to know that they're listening and making improvements with each step. :D Makes me excited to keep playing. The arena quests are a neat touch, too, and we're getting that freebie orb every day. The improvements to feathers seem great in general. I'm kinda swimming in them at the moment hah! I have 17k stockpiled, managed to score 4300 exactly in arena last week which landed me around rank 21k and gives a bonus 1.5k for rank. I think I need more 5*s to really improve on that.

Kinda bummed about this week's banner though. :c I need a great green unit so bad but none are filtering through. I was tempted to pull for Nino last week but as she comes as a 3* and 4* didn't seem super worth it, y'know, as I can promote her down the line (she would synergise amazingly with Eirika but oh wellll). But I have almost 200 orbs taunting me lmao.

It might be worth checking the boons/banes of the Robins and promoting one. :D Trying to target a non-focus 5* is... a recipe for tears and anger haha. :P You might already have a good one stashed!

I've just read the dev's update and indeed, they are really awesome at communicating so far! I think it's beneficial to everyone because seeing all the positive reactions probably keep them motivated on improving the game and it makes us want to stick around to see all the changes they're going to make! (I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be excited about reinforcements though, as in the original games they could be such a pain sometimes! ahah)

I'm at 19K feathers, so it will be time soon to me to choose my first hero to promote into a 5*! I should start to look into IVs and everything (I know about them but I always forget to check right away when I get a nice character). I'm actually really happy about the feathers change since we "lost" 1 daily orb, so as a f2p I'm not going to be able to do a lot of pulls anymore, but I'm OK with that if it means I can promote my units faster. (I'm bummed though, I spent 60 orbs on this banner and got crap :c I would even have been happy with one 4* sibling from the last focus, but seems like it was asking too much from RNG!)

I also can't wait for the Skill inheritance thing tomorrow, I've stocked all my heroes instead of merging them since they announced it so I can train and then have them pass skills!

Who are you tossing up between? I don't really have any prime candidates but expect skill inheritance will drain some feathers, too, so am bracing myself for that.

Sucks about this week's banner. :c Ninian looks like a really cool unit, I'd love to pick her up. Reinhardt and Olwen are both brutal from last week's banner, I hate coming up against them in arena. Blue tomes are just scary in general. Robin can usually survive Barst's attacks on my end so he gives me some trouble, he's too damn durable.

And hahaha so true about reinforcements. Lose at least half my units from dumb ambushes (although I lost Subaki by walking into a bow user yesterday after picking up my current Birthright playthrough after three months. I kinda deserved it tbh, rookie error).

I think I'll probably promote Sharena- I still lack a good lance unit, and I don't have to worry about her IVs or pulling her later so I guess I woudn't regret spending those feathers! Plus her 5* weapon looks super cool. But like you said if skill inheritance requests feathers she might have to wait a bit longer!

Actually I started looking for the IVs of my main heroes and it seems like I don't really a lot of interesting candidates for now (but I didn't check everyone yet so I might get good surprises from units I haven't trained yet). My Nino is sadly -atk +def, so while I will still use her at 4* because I like her and she's a really good green unit I'm not giving her 20k feathers xD I have a +spd -hp Nowi that could be interesting as a 5* though!

I totally get what you say about the blue tomes user, my Linde is really the MVP of my arena team! She even used to be able to one-shoot Takumi but now that I'm in the highest levels it's not enough anymore (still manage to deal with them attacking them first with F!Robin and then Linde finishes the work, so they are not too much of a bother for now. But I fear skill inheritance will make them harder to defeat though).

Shareana seems like a good shout! Particularly as her rally and spurs might help push Linde over the edge if needs be; I'm really learning to adapt to Eirika's play style, which encourages strong positioning to make the most of her +atk and +spd spurs. And I love Nowi, too. I don't run a dragon slayer so I'm always scared to see her on enemy teams, she has a very potent set of tools under her belt and I usually have to combo her with Barst and MRobin to take her down, thanks to her innate tankiness, ranged counter and the fact she targets res, which is typically the weaker stat.

SO much things happened those last 2 days! I'm really happy with all the new quests and new events they've added! I love how generous they are. I have to look up more on skill inheritance now that it's the weekend so I have more free time yay. I don't really know where to start though XD I guess I'll just pick one of my favorite units and see how I can make it better ^_^ I saw an unit planner on the reddit this morning which looked very useful!

Pahaha I've been totally overwhelmed by skill inheritance, I haven't touched it since it was introduced. I'm banding around a couple of ideas but am also sat on over 250 orbs(!) now and need a good banner to pull from to build up a nice stack of units and consider my options further.

I did feather my Anna up from 2* to 4* today and could afford to 5* her but hmmm. I had Fir from this week's new arena bonus rotation, tried her out in a couple of training tower matches and remembered why I dropped her in the first place so looked at other options. Anna has decent reviews and seems like far less of a liability haha, and 2.2k feathers feels like a small price with the addition of daily quests. Plus we won't be able to pull a better Anna any time soon, so I went for it! She's doing decently at the moment. :)

and omg the 10th Stratum quests are so brtual. Only managed Infantry, obviously. I think I might be able to handle Cavalry and Flying but need a hefty stack of red swords for my Sully and Cordelia to take down, they've sucked against any other comps.

I totally agree about all of those new quests they added! It makes amassing hero feathers so much easier! I actually promoted my first 5* not too long ago and I am not regretting it one bit! I promoted 3* Michalis to 5* and I am very pleased. I've been paring my 5* Seliph with Michalis, along with 4* Abel for kicks, and the results have been wonderful! Michalis has a very high ATK stat, but he tends to get outsped a lot, so Seliph's Rally Speed ability helps quite a bit.

Did any of you go for that Michalis event? What do you think of him?

woo I can't believe you got up to 10th stratum! I haven't made much progress past 7th, haha. I feel like a lot of people are boosting Sharena/Anna to 5*. It's kind of nice to see them get some love! They're not bad, either.

Also, I used the Inherit Skill feature to pass a long Night Sky/Luna to Seliph. I gave up a 4* Catria for that, but I think it was worth it.

Ahhh I've been wondering where you guys escaped to! Haha I have wanted to share.

I ended up promoting Anna all the way up to 5* and she's a great unit, her weapon effect in unreliable (it lets you warp to an ally when <40% health) but actually saved me a couple of times and it's a bunch of fun to see her warp across the map. And totally inkeeping with her character. :P

And with my Anna I managed to get a flawless run in the arena last week! It bumped me up to ~4500 score which put me JUST outside the top 10k. It was so close! I was less than 100 spots from the cut-off haha. Oh well! I managed another flawless run in this week's arena, too, and am sat in a similar spot. It's great to roll out with four 5* units.

I managed to get the 4* version of Michalis too, from the event, which was a first from me! Admittedly, I followed a guide on Youtube and tweaked it around my units, but I'm still thrilled I managed to pull it off. He seems like a good unit. I'm currently levelling him in case I want to use him in the new arena rotation.

And have you guys pulled from the Spring festival banner yet? I had a moment of weakness and pulled ~50 orbs until I stumbled upon my first 5*... a Xander. Who is -Atk. And seems widely considered a poor pick haha. And I have a pretty decent selection of blues at my disposal anyway. Oh well! His costume is a scream and his voice clips always make me laugh. It's all so wrong that it's right!

I still haven't skill inherited anything but have a few options in the wings. I want to see what happens with the arena scoring revamp this month before I commit.

Those last weeks I promoted Sharena to 5* (and I don't regret it at all!), managed to do both Hard and Lunatic maps for Michalis (following a youtube video though... So it's not really my win but still XD I'm really, really impressed at that guy who does the Lunatic maps each time with 3* units you can get for free!). Only managed to finish the infantry 10th stratum quests, those were damn hard!

I have mostly been saving my orbs since the FE7 banner (the one with Ninian and Jaffar), and I'm glad I did since the free 2 orbs daily log in bonus finished today D: The spring banner didn't really appeal to me, I know it's common in those gacha games but still... I prefer the original characters xD It's a fun addition to the game though for those who like it! However I couldn't resist pulling from the new Pegasus banner today; I got Hinoka after spending "only" 40 orbs so I'm pretty thrilled! (even if she's Atk-/Res+... Still, a nice 5* that I'll train anyway, who knows if they give us the possibility to reroll natures one day?) Still have 30 orbs left that I'll keep for now, so I don't feel too broke XD

I won't even mention Skill Inheritance. This feature is too overwhelming to me, I have no idea where to start... I have 123 characters total, I've got many multiple units (mostly 3* though), but I don't know. A part of me wants to say fuck it and just use them on whoever you want, but I also don't want to screw up and waste units for nothing! But I think as a f2p I'll never have the PERFECT buildup for everyone anyway.

I think I'm gonna go team Camilla! Cordelia would be my number two but I think Camilla will win and I want the feather bonus LOL. And I do like Camilla a lot. I pulled a 4* (crappy natured) one the other day while tearing through the Spring banner.

Omg the new banners are SO GOOD. I pulled from both! I just pulled greens from Wyverns and blues from Pegasus. I got a 5* Hinoka too! :D Really happy with that pull. She's very similar to Cordelia, admittedly, but her Hone Fliers is basically essential for flier teams if I go down that route. So I'm not disappointed! And I got two 5* Minervas! First one was +Spd -Atk. :c But the chances of pulling a 5* green on that banner are like... 1/10 I think? So I double dipped and got a non-hindering nature one, too, which I'm really happy about. And the other one can become Life and Death 3 fodder when the time comes.

Yeh it's nice to post here! I just got FE: Awakening so I am busy playing that, haha! I still go on FE: Heroes at least once a day, though. It's really a fantastic game and I can't believe I haven't played FE that much before. I need to go back and play more of the older games (plus newer ones, haha).

I am amazed at your arena skills :o As of right now, my win/lose ratio is about 50%, but maybe that's because I only do Advanced matches, lol. I'm so stubborn :P

I originally went with Palla, but she lost pretty quickly. Now I'm on team Cordelia! We are fighting a losing battle against Camilla, it seems like, haha. I think that the spring characters are kind of funny. They also kind provide some kind of weapon variety for the characters, which is kind of nice. I'm finding that their regenerative effects make them super bulky :o

Lol so I had this super meta voting gauntlet battle the other day. The opponent's team had one Camilla and 2 Takumis and I had Michaelis and two Takumis as well, haha.

Haha Advanced is the way to go! I've found this week really tough though! I think Skill Inheritance is filtering down to the 'lower' ranks and I'm encountering a lot of tough units. Plus I've been pretty underwhelmed by Michaelis. His low speed means he rarely OHKOs foes and that's causing me some trouble. I managed to luck out and score just over 4300, but that's a fair step down from the previous two weeks! 5* Anna spoiled me too much haha. Oh well! I'm kinda swimming in feathers again and don't have a 4* I need to promote, so I'm not too bothered.

I am loving fire emblem heroes too!! My ID: 0986347730. The only thing i'm missing from this app game is the bonding with other characters like you have with the other fire emblem games. Also having children who become even stronger than you lol.

Just started the game about 2-3 days ago, x_x shame that the Hero of the Grand battle is a charrie I wanted to have ( is a sucker for villans) but I'm no where NEAR ready for it, I've not even beaten story mode on normal yet and my guys are not really high level ( plus I only have two mages ( a 3 and a newly promoted 4) and a single 5 star at this time.

At least they're repeating Grand Hero Battles already! You should be able to earn at least one copy of each of the current crop, at least. You might've seen already, but there's a guy on Youtube who does clears with free 3* units exclusively. A good place to look if you're starting out! Who's your 5*?
