Congratz!! I totally get you. My first full 5* team was full red. xD It's a drama to kill blues but otherwise a full red team is great!

I'm hoping for an update with new quest content too -- and one that hopefully makes the "friends" feature useful.

Hahaha I am very tempted to roll some new units. I've been trying to get the Lunatic arena quests in but omg am I SICK of Takumi (and quietly jealous because I want my own) and need some fresh strategies for him. I've had a few matches where he trots around with Camilla, who murders my poor Robin, and pushed him in to a corner leaving me powerless and ripping my team apart. All three of my others units fall to him so I really have to play around my Robin. It's... far more stressful than it should be haha. I had a great streak of five earlier ended by the dumb human pineapple and it's starting to stress me out. xD

I got a team on Arena with two Takumis and Azura the other day. I don't even want to comment about the results... RIP

This game is really awesome! It definitely makes me want to get into the FE series again :) I think the last game I played was FE: Sacred Stones and it was amazingly fun!

You all have awesome teams, by the way! I feel like you all have quite different teams than I do. My team relies heavily on Marth and Lucina with support from Niles and Nowi. I still haven't leveled up any tome users to be really useful, haha. Here's my team!

Also, I hope that that last feature on the "Battle" tab that has questions marks for a name ends up being a live dueling feature to duel with other friends 1 on 1. I think that would be really cool! :)

Nice team! All those 5s ahhh... and all red swords! :P Very nice pulls, I can see a handful of characters there I'd love to have in my roster. I like Niles, I think he's a tad underrated but also felt his strength dropped off in the mid-20s. I think he'd appreciate a tank to turtle behind. And I like Hinata! I liked his character in Fates, he was useful for my first playthrough of Birthright. I think he's gonna be outclassed by your swathes of 5 red lords there though hahaha. I think he really suffers from his poor speed in this title, as getting doubled is always painful.

Tomes are so useful, especially when heavy armour becomes increasingly prominent at the end of the campaign. And Nino is very sought after, you should definitely work on her if you get the chance!

While I'd love a PvP battle system, I don't know if it would really work well with this game - wouldn't everyone just avoid the other team (unless you have strategic advantage or like 4 Takumi) ? XD then it'd be an endless circle... A co-op mode could be nice and more interactive though! I really can't wait to see what they are planning for friends.

You have a really nice team too! I'm really jealous about that Lucina xD I recently got Nowi too and I'm really liking her! And I agree with , Nino is a really good mage, she's one of the best green mages in that game so far. (:

I just took the plunge and feathered my 4* Robin M up to 5*! Ahhh, bye bye 20k feathers! This is what Takumi has driven me to haha, at least now I'll have a very sturdy counter rather than a flimsy one I have to play around. It's gonna be a pain grinding him up to 40 again; I just depleted my stamina and a few crystals getting him up to 27, waiting impatiently to recharge!

Wow you have to let us know how that boost works out! How do his stats look? I've been leveling Hinata up because I like how high his defense is, so he's kind of unique for a sword user. And yeah, I totally agree about the tome user thing. Marth and Lucina can't do anything against Effie or other armored characters, haha. Niles is great for whittling down tome users, because he has really high RES, I think. His ATK is abysmal, though :P

You're totally right, haha. I didn't even think about that. Those games would go on forever and it would get so frustrating! Nowi is great, by the way! The only thing is that she's no help against red sword users with Falcion, since they get advantage over her as a dragon. I usually use her as a counter to lance users. What do you think?

Well to be honest at first I didn't think about that too. When I told my boyfriend it was too bad we didn't have a real PvP thing in Fe:H, he reminded me of those few times we tried the multiplayer mode in Fates but it would take ages because no one really wanted to step in first XD Maybe they can figure a way to make it work, but I don't really see how they could do that without advantaging too much the player who goes first.

What I really like about Nowi is that she can counter attacks, that's very useful for mages and archers! But I wonder if she could do well in arena since there are so many Falcion heroes around... For now I'm leveling her up in a team with Roy/CorrinM/Nino (doing mainly Lunatic campaign for now so haven't tried Arena with that team yet) so since I have a green mage I don't have to worry too much about lance users.

Aah and congrats for the upgrade ! It will definitely be a good investment with all those Takumi around.

Hahah sometimes my units struggle to damage armoured units they have a weapon triangle advantage over, even. It's so frustrating! And then I realise I've let my tome user die and the run is a bust. This... happens to me a lot. I seem to lose a bunch of matches in the training tower haha, like, I know the AI is dumb but it still manages to outplay me. :c

And he's a +Atk -Res variant, which seems like a great mix for him as he struggles against tome users regardless, but that extra push of attack will help a lot, I think, particularly against neutral units. c: I really need a good green now. I've been using Narcian in the arena for the past couple of weeks for the bonus points and... I hate him, he is useless, and I want them to change rotation. 8)

I'm still scarred by Conquest Chapter 10. This is like... tangentially related but your post made me think of it; it's that awful chapter where you're forced to go on the offensive or be devoured by your foes. I'm a pro turtler and I kinda hate that Heroes makes you do that, too, normally; I like it wait it out and let the opponent come to me and fall into my traps. There really isn't enough space on the boards to play around your enemies like that... while avoiding Takumi, normally. Everything comes back around to Takumi hate (and I will continue to use and abuse him on Birthright).

Haha is Narcian really that bad?? I'm kind of surprised considering how he was supposedly a special hero :P I guess it's the same thing with Robin (F). Is it just his stats? Are they kind of low or are his skills aren't that special?

The only hero I have that gets a bonus for this season is Seliph, but I don't have him at a high enough level to use.

Yeah I bet archers and mages in the campaign are kind of dumb enough to attack Nowi indiscriminately, haha. I've been playing mostly the Arena, so I guess I wouldn't really know about using her in Campaign that much.

Mine is only a 3*, as I didn't think it was worth spending 2k feathers to promote him further, but yeah, he's a liability haha. He's decent against lance users thanks to his weapon and skill but struggles with low speed - mine is sat at 23, which means he gets doubled by almost everything in the arena. And flying units aren't very good, either, with Takumi spreading his unique brand of poison. I have to rely on my blues to counter lance units, normally, as it's a safer option, but they aren't really bulky either.

And yeah, Robin F ended up a tad disappointing with her skill set geared almost exclusively to countering blue tomes. I'm training her up, anyway, as it's likely she'll be in the next arena rotation. What rank did you manage in the previous season, in the end?

Oh yeah... If Narcian is only at 3* I can see why he can be a liability :x

I decided to level up my Seliph and switched Marth out for him on my main team, and he's doing pretty well! Having a score booster on my team has definitely helped my score out as of late. He has a lot more HP than Marth does, but I think his SPD score isn't as high. That means he doesn't get as many OHKO's, but he's still pretty awesome!

I am perpetually unranked in the Arena, haha! How about you? I have also never had anyone face my team in defense >_<

Chances are some people probably faced your team in defence, but I think it only shows the ones you won!

Who else is excited for the new event coming Tuesday? Have you already chosen your team? I can't really decide between Lucina and Sharena, since I really like both! I wonder how that poor Alfonse will do, though XD (then I know some people like lost causes I guess, so who knows!)

And on a aside note, I pulled a 5* Linde last night! I was pretty pleased as she seems to be a really strong mage. And she's blue! :D

And wow, congrats on the Linde pull! Very nice! She's a beast in offence, I'm always scared to see her in the arena as she can turn the tides so easily.

I've got a score around ~4.25k in this week's arena, which, hopefully, means I'm coming into 1k bonus feathers this week. Only lost one unit during my run (I think it might've been avoidable because I miscalced :x whoops). Including at least one bonus unit doubles your score so yeah, it helps a lot! You get higher scores the higher your unit stat totals (thus, level 40s and 5s are optimal) too, so that's something to think about. You also get more points the more units you keep alive. WIth 3 Narcian, 5* Cordelia, 5* Robin M and 4* Ogma I average around ~620 max per battle.

I'm just working through the Lunatic monthly quests atm, I beat the campaign on Lunatic on Friday - managed to do all bar 9-5 without Light's Blessing, and, I think I could've succeeded but I would've had to get lucky - and I'm now sat on 135 orbs. :x C'moooon amazing new banner, I need you.

I am super excited about this event! I'm on Eirika's team because she was in Sacred Stones, which is the only real FE game I've played, haha. (I need to play that game again!) So far, she's wining against Elise's team! How are your teams doing?

Wow your score is awesome! I think I ended last season at ~2,388, haha. Also, I changed my team to include some of my lower leveled characters, and for some reason it's doing really well! I guess it's because I'm going against teams that are at lower levels, but I want to believe that it's just because my team is awesome, :P

omg I drew a Eirika! Just after I'd joined team Lucina hahaha. I ummmed and ahhhhed for half an hour this morning before diving into the Princess banner and had amazing luck! First summon had no red orbs, so picked a green (desperately want a better green) and got a 3* Cherche, then exited out. Next screen had two red orbs - first pick, 4* Selena. Second pick, 5* Eirika. :D I thought I'd deplete my whole stash so was incredibly pleasantly surprised! She seems like a great unit. Mine is +atk -spd which is a slight bummer as her speed is quite low, but it's not the end of the world. I really wanted a red 5* and my thrilled my wish was granted so quickly!

I've been dipping into the event all day and set a timer so I can join in every 30 minutes haha. :D It's fun. The battles are short but we're doing so well, can't wait to take down team Eirika. ;) (my loyalties are kinda split here haha, but I wanna win)

Also the new arena line-up is interesting. I actually have a level 34 Sully in the wings so might sub her into my main team for bonus points. I don't want to drop Cordelia but seems like the best route.

Yay for team Lucina! I joined her too, before looking at the results so I had no idea she was so much ahead - I was really expecting the fight vs Sharena to be harder! Not that I complain about choosing the good side, ahah. Lucina has always been one of my favorite Awakening characters and I play her a lot in Smash Bros too, sooo... xD The only problem with being in the bigger team is that is harder to get ranked, but I don't want to use all my flags yet! I might splurge a part of them tomorrow morning just before the round ends though. Some extra feathers could be nice.

And congrats on the Eirika pull! I tried one pull on the Princess banner so far hoping to get Lucina, but no luck yet. I hope I'll be able to try another pull before the gauntlet ends!

I've yet to play Sacred Stones, but I should - this game really makes me want to try the older FE games, the only one (and first FE ever) I've played on the GBA was Blazing Blade so far!

That is so awesome!! I actually had a similar experience summoning today as well. I have an overabundance of 5* sword users, but no 5* blues at all! So I spent some orbs on the Princes banner hoping to get Ephraim. First pull was a 3* flier, then the second pull was a 5* Effie :0 How awesome is that??? I've been kind of hoping for a 5* Robin (M) for a while, but I keep pulling 3*'s, haha. I have three 3* Robins. I feel manipulated whenever I get that awesome intro movie for his summon xD

Actually I played one of my friend's Sacred Stones cartridges, so I don't actually own it anymore, haha. I just got myself a shiny new 2DS and I'm sure I'm going to play Awakening sometime soon!
