I've been trying to get Ephraim on every Legendary Banner he's been on and he still continues to allude me. I'm at 9.5% right now and running low on orbs. That and the game likes to not give me very many blue orbs to work with. :/

Voting Gauntlet wise I couldn't bring myself to choose between Ephraim or Lyon so I went Team Arvis. He's my only built up red mage and one of my best units, so I figured I'd support him. Plus, I love a good barbecue.

So I crashed my pity rate and got Love Abounds Lyn. Not Hector, but hey, take what you get, y'know? I'll get him another time.

I got lucky on the legendary banner (for once! They're usually the worst for me) and pulled Valentine Roy. I don't even know what his stats are and can't check properly (he's level 17 or something right now); I just wanted to have Bow Valor and now I do! I was easy to please this time around.

I'm so glad you got Hector!! My Myrrh is -def too so I totally feel you on that one. What a bummer :( But I'm still so happy for you!

- I know the feels, I did manage to finally get him on the April banner, but I spent over 200 orbs when he first showed up and ended up with Shiro, Green Lyn, and Grima instead. TBH, not terrible results, but I just wanted Ephraim! I hope he comes home for you!

Arvis should be a good team to be on in terms of points/ranking. Ephraim was a poor choice in that respect, but I have loyalty to my non-sword lords. I will default to Lyon if he fails.

- I'm sorry no Hector came home to you :( VLyn is pretty great though. She's great on armour emblem teams. Amour March + range + actually being fast enough to double things makes her a great asset on an armour team.

- Yeah, -def Myrrh (x2!) is a bummer, but she's still adorable... I just won't be wasting any skill fodder on her any time soon. Hector is +def -Hp, honestly could have been MUCH worse so I'm pretty happy with that. (like poor -att +def Gaius... crys for my bench warmer trophy)

I managed to get a LA!Roy (decent ivs + bow valor) and a B!Ike which I fed pretty quickly to my Zelgius. Other than that, nothing. D':

You're definitely right about being in a high rank. I think I'm hovering at rank 10k with like 6k points (no flags spent) so I'm pretty pleased with that. Seems it's gonna be easy to get some feathers so I can finally get my Lukas to +8.

me today: 13% pity rate on the legendary hector banner and no orbs left (i used the ones i was saving with feh, you know, like a sucker) god has struck me down for my hubris and the thought of scrambling for the remaining quest/chain challenge/squad assault orbs has me mad salty lol

Pinging since we seem to have similar goals - finally went through my newest Leon pulls and realized I have a +def/-res one! I'm approaching 300k feathers and figured I better start a new project, so Leon it is!

Finished at Rank 27 on Team Arvis. LA!Lyn came instead of Ephraim and she immediately got sacrificed to my M!Grima. I'm out of orbs but at least I can start saving again.

Ohhh sweet, that's such a great IV for him! How are you planning to build him? I wanna do CC for the novelty, mostly, as so few ranged units can pull it off. A +Def +10 with Def refinement and CD3 seal (really pushing the limits there haha) gets up to 46 Def, which isn't too shabby before buffs. Plus he's pretty fab. Gotta support Echoes best boy! And give us Valbar IS pls.

Yessss Leon is definitely Echoes' best boy. He is my precious gay son. He has CC of course, +def slaying bow, and I gave him threaten defense so he can... actually damage some of the beefy units he's meant to take on. I have him with just a quick reposte seal right now and I'm debating what to do with his B slot still. I tossed Guard on him since he came with it but not sure if I'll stick with it. He's +9 now (just one short! So annoying) and has 50 attack and 40 defense with no buffs... so pretty much just a gorgeous tank. I can deal with that ;)

(We were laughing cause he's basically the opposite build of my Mathilda. Except my Mathilda ended up with defense in her 30s at least and his res is a pathetic 15!)

Your Fae is great, she’s a complete tank! Love it, although I will never complain about seeing your Bride Cordy. Hope Oboro is helpful to anyone on Team Sigurd!

Yeah she's fun to just perch in front of anything, more or less, and watch her wall. She does have summoner support, too, which brings up her bulk nicely for Arena play. Your Oboro is coming up a bunch and it's always a relief to see her! She can take on basically any melee threat.

Did some yolo pulls on the legendary banner once again and ended up with... L!Hector! I finish the circle and the final pull is LA!Lyn, meaning I now have, once again, the full collection haha. Hector is +Atk -Res which would be incredible if Res wasn't a superbane, as it bumps him down a tier. Oh well, probs not gonna use him seriously in arena so no big deal. Lyn ended up a little worse with +Def -Atk, which is a superbane as well wah. I don't think I'll invest too heavily in her but it'll be nice to have another ranged armour, and my second Armour March to boot.

Dear Amelia, As much as I love you, and as much as I know you want TO BE Hector, until OG Hector comes home you have no hope of getting DC and becoming Female Hector. So, until then, please stop showing up when I am trying to summon him! Thanks.

Dear game, When I said that I would only ever get Hector if he was given out for free, that was supposed to be a joke! Please let me summon Hector. He's been power creeped so hard that I'm probably the ONLY person left who still wants him as a unit, and not as DC fodder.

150 Orbs later on third attempt with Hector focus, and still no Hector. My Amelia however, is now +2.

i ran into a legendary hector with bonfire on the oasis map and he refused to be baited off the defense titles and he killed my frederick, who almost never dies to hectors. i do not like this.

haha, i've got my fingers crossed it's the worst anyone in the thread sees. i took a screenshot for whenever i feel like dumping my orbs on a banner, i can just look at that 13.00% and think, Don't. but ultimately i'm not mad about it since i did at least get the new hector, a reinhardt merge, and close counter for morgan 8)

I am enjoying my Leon SO MUCH. He's a friggin' tank. I have to remember to keep him out of the way of mages (unless I attack first), but as long as he's going against physical fighters only, he's a beast. He's been really fun to play on, and honestly he's built the way I WISH Takumi could handle being built.

At +9, my Leon has 40 Def and 15 res (with a def Slaying Bow), so he's definitely worth putting the effort and skills into, and I've liked using Guard on him. Actually it just hit me that the Guard probably works on him so well because it's keeping things like Pavise and Holy Vestments from going off so often... well. I just liked it on him but now I feel smart!

I will shamelessly recommend Mathilda as a high res unit :V Mine isn't even +res -- she's +spd/-hp -- and her res is 40. HOWEVER... since she has Berkut's Lance and Distant Defense, if she's attacked by a mage, her res becomes 53. Plus she has my summoner support + supporting Alm since he's my main sword unit... yeah, her res is kind of ridiculous and I love to stick her in the middle of mages XD But I'm admittedly a BIT biased towards her.

Though I just realized, between her, Alm, and now Leon, I'm basically just working on having a very very pretty Echoes team. Of course, Alm is only +1 and I doubt I'll be getting 9 more any time soon. Oh well. Longterm goals?!

o: !! oh cool, i meant guard bow (the weapon) but i forgot leon has guard (the skill), it's good to hear the skill is effective. though, with 40 def, the guard bow's distant defense effect would probably be overkill when it came to enemy archers o:

and oh jesus, your mathilda haha. she's definitely an inspiration! and a walking nightmare for my reinhardt and morgan, yikes. i'll have to see what blues i've got when i'm done merging my reinhardt, i think i've been rolling mostly abels ;o;

as for alm... maybe he'll share focus with one other red unit you really want, and just... surprise you seven times in a row, like my morgans did p:

jesus I hope so. Speaking of Morgan, when they were out in their initial focus, I pulled 4 male Morgans - 2 in one round - while trying to get female Morgan and Chrom. I finally got both of them, but I've still pulled enough damn male Morgans that mine is +5 with two waiting. I'm just a little bitter about it! I love my female Morgan and use her all the time, but I haven't even put any effort into my male(s). I just keep merging him while giving him nasty looks.

(Also love the tip about keeping my orbs with Feh! I'm doing that now and making a nice stock pile that I'm not as tempted to use when it's not in my orb total!)
