- Yeah, they are pretty time consuming, even if you do get the right the first time. I kind of built up my Julia for that very reason, but she has not great IVs (+HP - spd I think), but yeah, her default skills aren't useful at all for SI.
I'll probably use Gaius for the TT, he has shitty IVs so I'm unlikely to use him elsewhere, it'll be a good opportunity to build up his HM if nothing else. If I manage to summon a Tana I'll use her, but my prospects of doing so before the TT are pretty slim. I have 0 orbs ATM cus stupid never-coming-home Hector. I need to do more squad assaults, and attempt to do Lunatic Chain Challenges so I can get more orbs OTL.

new heroes get us a real chapter instead of a paralogue, right? so we've got one coming up, that's nice. i want to see hrid, or maybe if we're lucky, an update on veronica and xander.

banners at the end of the month -- Heroes with Distant Def / Heroes with Fighter Skills does that mean we have a grima banner incoming...? i really don't want to spend orbs/want to merge my grimas now, but i feel like that way lies madness. & now that i've broken the Expensive Skills wall with close counter morgan, the urge to fodder my -atk celica is strong (even though she's my only one). but who could use distant defense? hmm.

I ended up deciding to invest in MMarth, just some basic inheritance (so far she's picked up Swap, Luna and Death Blow, alongside a wind blessing) that might get some use after for AA. Just a bit of a bummer cos I have a +2 +Atk Lucina already built.

Got myself the summer Innes today - he was the only one outstanding that I really wanted - the summer banners have been pretty kind to me. I still have some time for Su!Camilla.

Needed some barracks space so I decided to merge all of my masked Marths, especially if we're getting more. I've had some really lucky pulls lately

Yeah, new heroes are generally added to the permanent pool. I have no idea who it might be - perhaps Binding Blade (Roys game?) I think I saw somewhere that it had been a really long time since they'd had any new units added so they are overdue but IDK. I also wonder if it'll be a proper chapter or a prologue since the last one they gave us said it was the climax of book 2.

I am hoping the new legendary hero might be Hrid, although it's predicted to be blue so idk how I feel about him being a lance as well as Fjorm. I foddered a spare Micaiah to give my Xander DD3, it really helps his poor res and well... daggers and bows just ping off him.

Probably just gonna take my freebies and run for those banners. I'm sure they'll have good units on them (cus all the guys with those skills are good) but I don't really care for any of them.

- Well, I might use my MMarth anyway, she is built to be TT heal bot, Renewal, Ardent sacrifice and Breath of life, but I don't feel like using dew to upgrade her Falchion, and I don't really feel like investing in her even though she'll be +3 merge after this event. I probably should build her a bit, she's got enough SP, and it would be nice to have another dragon slayer in the ranks. (I don't have any Lucina)

A distressing amount of orbs, a LOT of Kazes for Attack Smoke fodder, and a +3 Summer Linde later, I FINALLY HAVE MY BOY. He is Neutral WHICH I WILL TAKE BECAUSE HE IS HERE.

i wasted a whole pile of dueling crests, saw hardly any 720 scores, and didn't get a single deathless streak (mostly bc of boneheaded positioning and hooligans with wings of mercy/armored boots)... embarrassing. oh well, it's only wednesday.

i hope it's a proper chapter since the ending of the last one was kind of abrupt but we'll see, i guess. and honestly, i almost want hrid to be a colored bow unit... if only because having lyn being the only colored bow unit is kind of lame. maybe hrid tried to snipe surtr? :p

yeah, i'm tempted by the grima banner but i don't use him that often so i'll probably do the same and just go for free pulls this month. i'm curious to see who the new permanent units are, i hope we get some new greens (that get demoted). fingers crossed for hrid's appearance either way!

I hate split focuses so much :( I also got TWO Summer Camillas when I had to pull something on a non-colorless round... one of them is good, and the other I'm saving as Hone Flyers fodder. My first Linde I pulled was perfect (+spd/-def) so I just merged the others into her because she doesn't really learn anything worth keeping four of them around for, haha. Also looking at the four of them while I was desperately trying to get Takumi was very depressing.

(I also had a 5* Mist pitybreak, which is extremely depressing when you already have a 5* Mist and she's basically a garbage unit, and a 5* Innes that immediately got fed into my other Innes out of rage. Needless to say, I really hope there's nothing else I want coming up because my orbs AND my wallet need a break...)

AHH I just saw that you also got your Takumi!! I'm happy for you ❤️ +hp is by no means a bad boon on him for once (I guess -HP actually dumps him down into a lower level in the Arena) and his def and res are basically both dump stats! So pretty good pull for you to get I'd say!

Yeah I don't really wanna refine her as Lucina already has spectrum bond and full healer build but that bonus heal would be sweet for auto TT. I have like 900 stones and 800 dews so maybe I can spare a few. :x Think I'll just finish her with Vantage and Hone Atk, I have plenty of fodder for both sat around.

I will give Alm his refine when I level him up over the weekend because it's pretty much the best in game, imo. I've started refining random stuff just to use my stones haha, even upgraded my -Att Spring Xander's Carrot Lance (pretty sure he has 39 attack...) with Def for badge farming. I hope they expand some base refines soon, stuff like gem weapons are overdue and outdated, and I have enough Kageros to +9 her but Poison Dagger really isn't all that nowadays.

Man they gotta do something for Mist soon, poor thing. She actually has a unique sword in the Tellius games (to make up for how weak she is oop) so maybe they can do something with that. Congrats on finally getting your Takumi, sounds like you went through hell to get there.

I stopped keeping count at 200. I was planning on counting the entire time to see how pathetic I was, but after getting the second Linde, I gave up.

Tell me about it! I fell like most of the healers in this game can be built to get the job done with the wrathful/dazzling combo, but Mist isn't worth investing any of that time or money in. She's just... bad.

After training up the 5* Mist I recently summoned, I agree, she needs some (read: a lot of) help, or at least needs to be demoted, none of the other non-Ike units from her banner are 5* anymore, and it's not like she's got good skills to fodder either, sure spur def/res is good, but very situational, there are better C slot skills by now for sure, and Miracle takes too long to charge for it to be any use to anyone to use it. (I think I was happy to have it on Sigurd ONCE on the final map of a TT) Plus, you can get that, and her other skills all on lower summonable units.

- 200 is a good number to stop at, that's where I stopped when I was trying for Hector on the first legondary banner. somewhere around 300 is probably where I summoned SCamilla (after having spending over 100$ on orbs) and I gave up. That was when I resolved to never spend money on this game again. Tempting as it was last night to buy some for Hector (the BK starter pack is a pretty decent deal), I stuck with my pledge. At least you got some other good units out of it. SCamilla and I think Ayra, were the ONLY 5* I managed to summon from that legendary banner. And Legendary banners start at 8%.

i'm Screaming, that's even worse than my ylissean summer experience last year, ;o; (i think my non-banner pity break was a jacob? which, at least he has renewal 3. mist isn't as helpful.) reading through that i am so thankful takumi made it home to you, jesus christ. and yes, mist should've never remained in the 5* pool. if we get another mass demotion and she isn't dropped, i'm going to riot send mad feedback.

- Hrid as coloured bow unit? Yes. Red Bow armour, that would be awesome. Although, I think the next legenday hero we are due for is blue, I'd be ok with blue too, or Blue Tome Ylgr. One of those two, please. Or Blue Tome Zacharias/Bruno.

So far no summer unit from the second banner yet....though I got a 4* shigure so I guess I have everyone from the wings banner now

Ooh I like the idea of Hrid being a bow. I was thinking about trying out archer emblem and another coloured bow would be fab. (Along with a new colourless legendary or colourless breath)

Trained up Alm, replacement Swordhardt and new old Hector today. Levelling units is such a downer even with the training maps, though Hector was fun, just stuck him in with weaponless Maria and he autoed through every map. MMarth is also finished and ready for the TT. Not sure who I'm gonna bring with her so we'll see how the maps play out.

Also managed to beat all five BHB quests in one battle too, which is always satisfying. Used Alfonse, Fjorm, PA!Azura and Sothe. The key was sending Fjorm up the top right to pull Lucius' attention as it was a pain to deal with him alongside the red mage. Managed to clear it on my second attempt.

- Good luck with the new banner! I haven't even looked at it yet, probably won't until I get back from my trip! Hopefully I'll find time (and internet) on my trip to do the TTs.

I had to go back for the infantry BHB quest cus I took Bride Ninian on my first attempt with Fjorm and Alphonse, got all of theirs in one shot, but had to go back with a full infantry team. Nino cleaned up the map nicely all by herself, with some dancer help. These BHB quests seemed easier than the last few.

i'm glad i'm not the only one who wants more colored bows. tbh i just want hrid to be something fun! (assuming we get him, of course.) i've got high hopes for the next set of cyl heroes, too. hopefully we see them sometime soon o:
