I don't have any summer units so that leaves me with a bonus unit I haven't built at all, but eh, maybe I can throw some cheap investment together. Seals are very nice though, excited to upgrade a couple of those!

i’ve only done some of the basic tactics drills so far, but that smite fir map... if the harder ones have movement puzzles, i think i’m really going to like them o; (doesn’t hurt that they reward lots of feathers! coupla orbs too, but legit only like two or three from the easy ones so far.)

second summer banner... takumi is cute but hinoka is in the permanent pool. i guess if i want to look for morgan merges i should roll for tana.

What a ... weird bunch of TT bonus units. Why not just both new summer banners? Also meh about the unit reward (again). They surely could have thrown together a nice random summer unit to give us, like they did with Love Abounds and New Years etc.?

I need Kinshi Takumi... I have 24 orbs T_T

Gaius and S!Corrin were the Summer voting gauntlet finalists so I guess that's why they're in the bonus units, and Tana is the one with the prf weapon, but that's still a weird choice! I hope I'll get a focus on the new banner cause I could use Masked Marth, but she has 4.5k HM already and I tend not to use my HM capped heroes unless I really have to (that's weird I know but I don't like to waste HM haha!)

actually I struggled a bit for that smite map actually, I felt so dumb. XD Who uses this anyway? haha

oh that's interesting about Gaius and Corrin! But still weird imho. Throw the other three new units in there with Summer Tana! Put them to use! I better get my Takumi to do the TT. I have a summer Corrin, but she's...pretty awful.

i hear the new summer tiki is This Season's Broken Unit but i'm still not super enamored with any of the new summer units so i figured i'd roll hector's banner... my second green was grima. i'm gonna stop there, hah. (i have three now. i wonder if i should merge him instead of saving the extras for fodder? i don't use my armor units very often, though. hm...)

ah, i got the smite map but i definitely screwed up on the reposition map (didn't realize the banner was part of the map)... and the countdown map with elise... and the map with peri. whoops!

Well guys I finally did it. Playing since launch and I finally got my first +10 unit! Merges avoid me like a damn plague, and I really thought Roy was gonna be my first +10, but nope, my boy Corrin came home first!

I much prefer the speed refinement on Yato considering Corrin's currently married to Lukas, who doesn't really need all of the extra buffs the Yato refine gives. Instead I concentrated a building a speedy player phase attacker, and I think I succeeded in that regard. He's surprisingly tanky, since I chose an HP bane, which I know is a superbane, but I'm not too keen on giving up Resistance in a dragon meta.

Ahhh I'm so happy. I just need an extra Chrom for Aether and he'll be set. I'm thinking of giving him that sweet, sweet Flashing Blade seal when it comes out, so that's exciting. :3c

- I am so disappointed with Titania's weapon refine. Res tactic? Really? I was at least hoping for something similar to Berkut's lance if it didn't end up with any SE status.
Nice Corrin. Didn't realize he could get up to that much speed! lol. I think you made the right choice with the speed refine. Pretty excited about the flashing blade seal too, that'll be a fun one to play with,

- Yeah, I'm not super enamoured by the new units either. I mean, Tiki would be nice cus she looks pretty OP, and then I can do Tiki Emblem! Linde looks kinda broken too. I feel like Camilla's just gonna turn up in my barracks someday anyway, so what's the point? lol. In terms of utility, Takumi seems like the least useful of the bunch, but he does have some pretty cute art. But alas, all my orbs are going to get spent on either Hector or Tana, so none of them have any hope unless I summon them for free.

Hrm, I still don't have the new Tactics mode, I guess I'll have to manually update. :(

Ohh man have I spent way too long on the third Grandmaster trials map. The others were hard but I could kinda see the solution and just had to figure out how to get there. With this one I'm kinda clueless in how you're supposed to take out both wyvern riders, they're just so bulky. I've tried to separate them but the axe is still really impossible. I almost looked at a guide but resisted... for now.

Oh heyyy I saw your Corrin on Reddit just now. Congrats on finishing him! I always think he's a little overlooked as a unit.

And yay, I finished top 10k for arena assault for the first time ever! I finally used some blessings this week (we have so many that they ended up almost scattergunned) and ended up at 9.7k for my troubles.

M!Corrin is so underappreciated, but I understand since he has a lot of competition. The way I build up units it basically, "Are they cute? Yes? Build 'em up."

Yes that's my boy! I'm actually surprised by the attention he got, but I'm glad people are seeing the true power of the dragon boi. (✿╹◡╹)

the skill studies went fine but the grandmaster drills made me feel like a fool lmao. i definitely did go looking for opening moves! i'm really looking forward to more of both though. they're fun even if i can't do them all on my own, and a new weekly that isn't just routing the enemy with The Reinhardt and company is good stuff.

oh my goodness, congrats on that speedy boi! that's speed's outrageous but i'm kind a jealous of that res, o: most of my favorites have awful res, which makes arena kind of... risky. i'm not looking forward to seeing all the summer tikis this week, haha. fingers crossed your next red orb is a 4* chrom so you can save some feathers 8)

i'm definitely going to wait, and work on squad assault. gotta build up the stockpile again. takumi is cute, and after listening to their voice lines i'd like tiki or camilla, but i think that's just the "ooh, shiny new thing!" part of my brain talking.

Also lol disclaimer I just meant the third was harder than the first two maps. I tried the next two and sucked at them (I guess I've found how to open Chrom's through trial and error but... eh?)

Just pulled a second Swordhardt on my freebie, lol. He's +Res -Spd so will be a good upgrade to the one I found the other week, who's the exact opposite. Then when completing the circle I got my third Julia. Why couldn't it be her mum? Her IV was shoddy as and she has no good fodder so merged her into my existing.

Edit: managed to do 4 and 8. 4 was awful, spent way way too long on it but happy it's over! 8 is definitely the easiest alongside 1 and 2 because there's a pretty limited number of ways to do it, to be honest. Didn't take me thaaat long.

I finally got my Athena to 5*. Those Tactics Drills have been of big help, and they really taught me things I never knew about some of the skills and assists in the game (Who knew Smite could push units across mountains and rivers?). I was also able to refine her Wo Dao+ with a +Spd refine, and with the speed boon she has, she reaches 44 speed. Jeez, that's quick. Karla with a +Spd boon quick. She's gonna be mighty potent with that new Flashing Blade seal that's coming out soon.

Also, I surprisingly like Summer Camilla, not because of the fanservice, mind you, but because she sounds really doting and sisterly while being somewhat teasing. She also looks really adorable, and with her being a blue mage, Camilla emblem is capable of taking on the entire weapon triangle. I will say that Summer Takumi is my favorite out of all the summer units. He looks and sounds so happy to be at the beach, unlike Leo, and with what he goes through in Fates, he deserves to be.

Spent 55 orbs on the new banner and I got a Jaffar (-Atk/+Res but I didn't have him yet), an extra B!Ike (it's not like I have another one sitting in my barracks for months due to my indecision... Maybe I should finally give one to my F!Kana since I've been using her a lot lately?) and a +Spd/-Def Takumi. I can go back to saving and I have my bonus unit for TT so I'm super happy with my haul! Good luck to everyone wanting to pull on this banner c:

- 3 5* with 55 orbs? cry How come everyone else has such better pull luck than me.

- Yeah, I'm going to try and resist the urge to even get the free pull on this banner until I Hector banner and first summer banner are gone (or I get Hector/Tana)

- That's a good way to do it, no point in building up a unit you don't like. Like, I kinda want to build up a Marth cus I need a dragon slayer, but I don't really like him, so I'm working on Eirika instead.

- I beat all but one of the skill studies on the first or second try, then I got to grandmaster, and I can't even beat the first one, I tried like 50 times. I'm probably going to look up a guide cus I'm a wimp.(and I need orbs) Julia is the worst green pity breaker :( At least she wasn't alone.

- Congrats on Athena. She'll have lots of speed if you merge her too, and she's summonable at 3* now.

Had a crappy day so treated myself with some orbs- got a +HP and -Res Kinshi Takumi for my trouble so I’m good. Might try and pull a Camilla once I’ve saved up some more.

Tbh I've already wasted far too long of my life on 'em when I could be playing FE6 (... or reading a book). I did beat 7 as well last night (it has a pretty limited number of moves and quite a clear starting point which made it a little easier) but lol, might just look up the starting positions for the rest and see how that works out.

I actually quite like Julia but yeah, she's a little dated and really has zero to offer other units. She gets frequent use in AA, though, because you can never have enough dragon slayers. I hope Naga gets a unique refine down the line.

Congrats to everyone who had good luck with the summer pulls! I am tempted to try and get a summer unit to ease the TT because I really can't be bothered to build MMarth (but then it kinda defeats the point of TT orbs, hm).
