I don't particularly care for any of the units, but yeah I agree Noire is a bit uncomfortable to look at. :/ honestly I wouldn't say no to Infantry Rush but I didn't get it on my first circle so eh. So more saving for me! Sat just under 700 orbs right now. Not really sure what I'm waiting for but hopefully I know when it comes along haha. CYL2 I guess? Maybe DC fodder would be handy too for whatever red I decide to build, eventually.

Been playing through Blazing Blade a little more and still enjoying it. I think the chapters are just... not as dense as I'm used to and it's quite refreshing to breeze through the later chapters without them being cakewalks, necessarily. And it's funny to see Zephiel appear in the game, I like how they made everything circle back around. I just beat Ursula's chapter last night with Night of Farewells to follow. On my first attempt of Battle Before Dawn Jaffar literally died on the second turn. He got hit by a Silver Spear and Ursula's Bolting which finished him off. It was sad to see.

Hey, is it just me, or is Hinata hard to come by? I know I've only been playing for around a month, but Hinata has been quite a rare sight for me (I only got him once thus far). He's supposed to be a 3-4* unit, yet he feels more rare than a 5* unit. Fury fodder isn't dime a dozen, I s'pose...

- I didn't have a Hinata for like 6 months after the game was released. All my units only had fury 2 from Jagen or Bartre, but then I got like 5 in a row. It's pretty random, bu there definitely seems to be some 3-4*s that are more rare than others.

- How do you always have so many orbs! When I got up to 300 once I thought I was doing good. How quickly the disappear though. I hope the 120 I have now will be enough to get Hector :(

Tbh I haven't been that enticed by the recent banners so just been waiting to see what happens; I spend a few orbs on the first circle but leave it after that. Only thing that's annoying when you're saving is the lack of fodder pulls. I'm flat out of Hinatas, too, and haven't seen an Effie or Fae since I started my merge projects.

I did promote a +Atk Eirika I found in my barracks recently, superseding my +Spd, so now she's +3 and recently refined. She's pretty fun to use - I've brought her along to the TT and she has good durability. Only thing that puts me off investing further is Tactics won't mesh with my team comp as my bonus will likely be infantry.

Also really enjoying using Bridal Lyn for the TT; Live to Serve allows her to be flexible as I'm happy to watch her tank a magic hit and heal back up after. Candlelight+ can also be devastating for cleaning up foes. Azura is... Azura. The game does not know how to handle gem weapons. I've watched her advance on greens foes oh so many times...

Yeah I probs spent around 200 orbs between both the Bridal banners and the legendary banner to get the three units I wanted, which was very lucky. So the rest of the time I've been in savings mode.

Speaking of lucky... pulled three units on each of the summer re-runs and found my first Swordhardt! I was super worried it'd be a summer Leo, haha, and was like... at least he can be Ploy fodder. His IVs aren't great, +Spd -Res, which is a superbane, but no -Atk so no complaints. Also pulled my third Nowi ever, whooooo.

- I had a bit of luck with the new banners too, actually summoned Summer Gaius on the first ring. Unfortunately the rest were all feathers, not even any good fodder, but I'm happy I finally have my shirtless candy man. Now to save up again in hopes for Hector! And if I have orbs left over after THAT (which history dictates I won't, but we'll see) I can try for Tana and Noire again.

I actually got Summer Tiki and Summer Xander on my free pulls. I was hoping to get these two, and I'm glad I did. I might get Summer Gaius for Def Ploy fodder if I am willing to dive down into the colorless hell...

I gotta save up my orbs right now. Legendary banner is coming up soon, and I only have two orbs. Guess I never learn.

i fed linus my extra jaffar for life and death when i got him (sleepy me does not make the best decisions) but i hadn't actually equipped it until now....... double life and death drops him to 9 res lmao. i think if i get enough feathers for his +2 merge, he'll have a whole 10 res. jesus christ, linus (i know word on the street is raven does double life and death better, but i don't feel like building one. so. yeah)

you're better off upgrading the def ploy seal in this case, i think! the colorless pool is much better these days, but split focus banners can still be trouble and as much as i love him, summer frederick isn't really worth using for fodder p:

I was pity broken by an Azura and thought for sure I was screwed but then I pulled her next!!! I'm so happy. And normally I'm pretty frustrated when I get a +HP unit that i really wanted, but she's +HP/-def which are both neutral and not awful stats on her so I'm not even fussed. I'm just glad my girl came home!

- you use who you like. I'm sure Linus does the job just as well. Drop him +3 spd seal and desperation and wreck all the shit. yup, fingers crossed for both of us. I'm imagining some of the valentine's day units on the next legendary banner, I don't need any of those.

- Yes, colourless is much better now, it's got Klein for Death Blow, and Soothe for L&D and Glimmer, and Kaze for attack smoke and barb shuriken, summoning healers still kinda sucks though.

I'm trying to worm my way into the top 10k of the TT. I'm so close. I'm ranked around 10800. All my dancers have maxed their HM again, except Bride Ninian.

Yeah colourless hell is kinda a thing of the past, thankfully. You'll still get a lot of interchangeable healers but Klein, Sothe, Kaze and now Legault offer some of the best fodder in the game. Tbh I'd say green hell is a thing considering how there haven't been any demotions in over a year and thus the units are largely outclassed. The only relevant greens are like... Fae and Raven, and Sheena if you wanna go for score. Okay and maybe Soren and Nino and Cherche and Camilla haha. It's just super stale tho.

I just beat FE7 this morning! I... really did end up liking it. The plot was pretty tight and engaging. Only regret was realising that you only gained supports by standing right next to other characters as opposed to three spaces so... I really didn't end up with many significant ones aside from Eliwood and Ninian A. And letting poor Lucius die on the final chapter through sheer stupidity. Also lol Luna is so damn broken.

- Green hell here I come! lol. Since I'm done Nino, I feel like I should start building up another green character... I'm thinking Camilla in terms of utility... but uuuugh camilla. I guess I could work on making a good Fae, but I don't really summer her that often. (Although, if I commit to building Camilla, that pretty much guarantees I won't summon her right?)

lol Welp, yeah they have to be RIGHT next to each other in that game, and within 3 to get the stat bonuses. I'm impressed you managed to get Eliwood Ninian though... I have tried a few times and never succeeded! Poor Lucius, tbh, I don't think I've ever taken him to the final map in all my times playing FE7, his magic stat always ended up too subpar to be more worthwhile taking over other units. And yes, Luna is so broken in that game. Res? What's that? And now HHM time! The ultimate FE challenge!

ah, i always forget about the stat seals! linus has the heavy blade seal for now but i'm gonna upgrade a squad ace seal, so he can be fancy 8) and yeah, we'll know for sure in a few hours but i think it's mostly valentines units and winter tharja. nothing too exciting since legendary banners aren't great for sniping o: i like using winter tharja but if i didn't have her... waiting for the christmas banner rerun would be better p:

I have nine Camillas in my barracks lol. Her stat line isn't exactly stunning but she's considered a more defensive flier. Her refine is a nice boost to her offensive potential, though, especially if you like to run mixed teams.

I like Fae because she counters both Rein and B!Lyn with ease which, while not as omnipotent as they once were, are still kinda a pain to deal with. I wanna do Soren as a project but haven't pulled one with decent IVs so all my spare copies keep waiting in the wings. I'm interested in building Leon, too, but want a build more interesting than Brave Bow+ tbh.

Lucius actually ended up a bit of a powerhouse in the end. His biggest problem is low con, imo, and the light tomes are kinda heavy so he spent 99% of the game spamming Lightning and staves. Canas ended up pretty incredible, though, I think the dark tomes just have a lot more utility (Nosferatu for tanking, Luna for breaking Negral in half) and had a good balance of magic and speed too. I gave Hector the boots and it was pretty fun to watch him zoom across the maps and tank all in sight haha.

I actually jumped straight into FE6 (I had another bus trip yesterday) and beat the first three chapters. And then found a much cleaner translation but when you try to import an old save, it inflates all your stats so started over and replayed those first three chapters yay. The hit rates are... everything I'd heard about and feared. So much time spent parked in front of bosses waiting for my Hammer to hit. I plan to circle back for HHM once I've cleared 6 and then 8 if I'm not totally burnt out by then, there's a possibility! At least 6 looks like a short game.

Saw new trailer for new legendary hero... hmm is tempting although not super desperate for any units. (Myrrh...) Actually really happy it wasn’t Legendary Xander because it gives more chance for orbs to recover.

I did immediately think of though... so many Hectors o.o are you going to try for OG Hector or this new one or both?

Hmmm yeah green is pretty undeniable this time. I've never pulled a Myrrh and always think she's a grand pain to deal with thanks to Great Flame + DC + Iote's, and the other two are premium fodder if nothing else. Red would be ace, too, but not fussed about pulled Leif.

I'm just kind of... Meh about yet another green armor Hector with Distant Counter. I think I'm probably in the minority here. I've pulled one original Hector and his distant counter immediately went into my Mathilda, and I ended up pulling TWO Valentine Hectors (saved one and fed the other to Sigurd). At at least I can safely save my orbs! I already have (multiple) Brikes and just pulled a Myrrh so I'm pretty set. It'll be nice to just rebuild my stash in preparation for the rest of summer...

Though , I must say, II honestly love my Leif, he's SO fast. I ended up with a +spd one though so he's just quick as hell. I even threw one of my extra Swift Sparrows on him (definitely out of those now). I'm just always a sucker for fast fast characters, though, in basically ANY type of game!

Thank you!! She's been so fun to play on. A lot of the build suggestions were pretty much identical to my Pegasus Cordy, so I went with this interesting build for her that involves Harmonic Lance + Moonbow + Desperation and she's been really fun in the arena so far. Though I swapped Mathilda out for her and I need to quit getting distracted and putting her in the way of mages, haha. Too used to Mathilda's res + distant counter, and this Cordy's res definitely leaves a lot to be desired.

ROFL I'm sorry about your Gaius! That is 90% of my life when I finally get the unit I want, I swear to god. If I REALLY really really wanted them, I'll suffer through leveling them, but then they just end up looking pretty and gathering dust in my +hp/-whatever-stat-really-should-have-been-the-boon pile.

Oh ho. Feeling compelled to pull from the legendary banner this time. I know there are a good amount of people who are quite bored of seeing more of the same from Hector, but I'm glad I might get my chance to pull my first Hector, especially since green is such a nice color to pull from, and even if I don't get him, there's an equal chance I might get Brave Ike for Steady Breath fodder, at least, or I might get Myrrh for flier emblem.

I thought the concept of LA!Hector was pretty funny but understand that the third iteration might be a bit much for some; tbh he can use swords in-game so maybe they should've went that route. His prf is going to be oh so annoying tho, I'm scared.

And yeah, I'm sure Leif would be fun to use! Especially for TTs n stuff with S Drink, it's a great niche. I just need another red sword like I need a hole in the head, y'know? Maybe I'll give it a go and see what rolls out. I have both L!Ike and W!Tharja and am pretty satisfied with both (despite Tharja being -Atk, she is truly IV proof) but the fodder is next level (if I pull CC it is gonna spur my Leon project on, though Vengeful is ace too).
