(also, my luck wasn't that great, he's -att OTL) Got Pity broken with Sanaki trying for Myrrh (those stupid green-less summons) so I'm done with the legendary banner. There's a limit to how much more I am willing to put in for Myrrh, I really want her, but Brave Hector AND Ephraim.... gotta save my orbs! (although, who knows when that banner will actually happen, it might not come until summer)

- I hope you get some seashell frederick. He's pretty fun.

- Alm is popular since he's the first classic 'lord' (aka not MU) since FE exploded in NA. He is pretty meh as a character though.

I kinda like Alm tbh haha I guess his 4th place is probably due to Echoes though. I don't understand how Loki did make Top10 though XD (well I can see why people voted for her... probably not for her personality haha!) Hopefully next time (if they ever do CYL3) it will be Marth's time to shine... Poor boy would have won if they didn't split him into 2 versions. I don't even know his character that well but he kinda is the face of the franchise and I feel he deserves more!

- He's +spd. 33 spd isn't super useful, but I guess he'll get doubled less. I will 100% be voting for Hector. Cus dammit, I still need him! I think a number of people will vote for him just to get free DC to fodder off, but I just want damn hector!

I'm excited for the CYL banner, Ephraim and Hector best lords. I just hope they don't end up with swords! lol. I'm probably gonna want both of them regardless. Unlike the last CYL where I was hands down going to choose Lyn before I even knew she was going to be a Ranger, this one, I kinda want all of them, but know that in all likelihood I'll end up with 2 of them at best.

i'm trying to think of units that would be competition for a free hector -- the new ike, maybe? takumi or winter tharja would be nice, for free close counter. hopefully it's cyl-style where they offer us a choice of the top four.

and man, i'm so excited to see what the cyl units look like! i was pretty ambivalent last time, but they all turned out really neat o (i just... can't see any of these units with swords or bows/daggers though but that's just me lol)

- A lot of people were thinking it would be the new Ike. Flaxzura might be popular as well. I could maybe see Ephraim with a bow. I could see them giving Hector a sword too since he can use a sword after promotion in his game, but I'd prefer they give him Wolf Beil (it's technically a worse weapon than armads, but this is Heroes, no one cares about that!) I hope they leave Veronica a tome user, but I could see them giving Celica a sword or dagger. I certainly can't picture Ephraim or Hector using magic though, I hope they don't do that. I'm having enough trouble accepting magic Eirika.

The last ones all had like their 'parent's weapons, so Veronika's gonna get an Axe, Celica;s gonna be healer, Ephraim's gonna be a sword armour, and Hector's gonna get his Wolf Beil! < my ridiculous predictions.

I can see Celica taking the swordie role as she receives the Blessed Zofia in Echoes, so there's a precedent. It's a shame as it's always gonna be the least exciting colour but someone's gotta do it. Maybe we'll see a magic user this time?

@ KiaArra ephraim with a bow would be nice! if he got a bow, and a good artist, he'd be my instant pick for sure. hector just seems like he should always have an axe so a change to that would be weird, at least for me p: tbh the more i think about it, the more i want to see veronica with a sword. perhaps she studied the blade under xander! or, if she gets a blue tome -- alternate universe bruno's been off'd and she's taken up his tome in memory of him. or something.

I ended up with a -Spd Sigurd from a full pull of Hero Fest which I'm quietly happy with - as you might've guessed from my constant appreciation, he's become one of my faves in-game so I was happy to merge my existing +Spd up. Also went back to Legendary Heroes and did a full pull, ended up with a +HP -Spd Sanaki which is a lame IV but she's new to my collection, and the Cymbeline refine would be cool if I ever ran mixed teams. 8)

I'd love a Nephenee to sacrifice to Lyn for Wrath but going to play it safe and see how the next few days pan out. I'm on my guard for more anniversary surprises.

- What does refined Cymbeline do? I pulled Sanaki as a pity breaker on the SS banner. Forgot to check her ivs, but I didn't have her before, so I don't know anything about her.

Any refinement changes its effect to grant allies within 2 spaces Atk +3 during combat, like Drive Atk 2. Its unique effect grants Atk/Res+5 during combat if she's within 2 spaces of a flying ally, which is a pretty nice boost!

- Huh, interesting. Might need to look into that (if she has good IVs, need to wait for level 40 now to see what she's got) I'm running a pretty mixed bag right now for TT because of def tactic.

I am very excited for FE Switch! It was one of the main reasons behind me buying mine (I also wanted to play Warriors so that was my first game) Really surprised we've not heard even a little bit? There are some 'leaks' going around but I'm not sure I buy them

Going slightly OT but a Switch is so worth it, I love mine. There are a lot of great games for it already (Odyssey is fantastic) and my wishlist is pretty big - not something that's happened for a while with a console.

The FEH channel didn't blow my mind but there was still a lot of good stuff :) Effie was adorable though! Really nice to see Xander coming back for a GHB re-run, guess I was wrong about him being added to the summon pool. I wonder what they are holding back on the version update once the anniversary celebrations are done.

I'm kind of chill about Vanguard Ike, it'd be cool to summon him but I am not going to break the bank trying. I do like the precedent this sets though and I am excited to see who we get in future (Legendary Marth is a shoo-in surely?) That said... I did vote for Vanguard Ike for my first Hero Rises vote but I think I'm going to vote for Spring Camilla or Summer Corrin as well. you have sold me on flier emblem and I think I could really do with a flying mage.

The CYL results were a surprise, but really curious as to how they're going to do Veronica. There's a lot of fan art of her dressed as Xander for her brave version which would be adorable. Ryoma also got top 10 which is pretty exciting and super happy Alfonse did so well.

I pulled a L'Arachel on the SS banner, not sure if I want to try for Myrrh now. I also pulled a second Fjorm on the legendary banner, I'm not sure if I'll merge her on my neutral one. I'll do some quests and work on the TT for the Orbs and the second Marisa but I'm not sure what else to do at the moment... I feel a bit lost at the moment.

- I also feel kind of lost at the moment, they just threw so much stiff at us all at once! and I have 300 units in my barracks again somehow, so I have to start doing stuff with people.

I bought my Switch one month ago, and so far I've only got FE:Warriors and Mario Kart (always fun when friends come over!) What do you think about Warriors? I've never played that kind of games before but I'm really enjoying it. The story and main lords are meh (I'm almost finished on the story), but I definitely love that there's so much things to do. If you want to finish that game 100% it's going to take sooo long haha! The support conversations are a nice little touch too, I don't know if they made one for every support or only between characters from the same game? (I only unlocked Chrom/Robin so far)

This morning I did my free summon (+ open all blue) on Hero fest hoping for Nephenee, but I didn't got her. Too bad but it would have been pretty lucky in less than 3 orbs XD Then I did a full pull on the Legendary banner and I got S!Robin and a third Axura! This legendary banner is kinder on me than the previous one haha. Now I have 60 orbs left but I know we will have a lot in the next days, so I don't know if I should continue or wait until the new banner... I'm pretty happy with my haul (3 focus in 75 orbs total even if they were not my most wanted ones), and hopefully we get L!Ike at the Hero Rises contest? haha (I'm voting for Summer Corrin though. I hope she comes back next Legendary banner!)

@ cora I really liked it, it was a lot of fun! I still have Lyn and Celica to unlock and lots of promotion clashes to finish up. I agree that the story mode is not the best, there were a few plot holes and unfinished threads (I want to know who fired that arrow at Xander when he and Ryoma were squaring up, it seemed like it was going to be a big deal) and I can do without Rowan (Lianna was mildly more tolerable). I haven't gotten through all of the supports yet but I like that most of them add a little more depth to the characters - Xander and Takumi's is great. They didn't add supports for every pairing though, which is a shame. I am in two minds about getting the DLC, on one hand I am sorely missing an infantry lance (and Oboro is great) but I am generally against DLC in games that really should have been part of the initial release.

Got to 20000 points on the TT and just about found my base team of Ryoma, Axura, Takumi and Oboro. I'd forgotten how much Ryoma just kills, and I replaced Lancebreaker on Oboro with Renewal 3 and it syncs really well with her Fury skill.

I still can't beat in Lunatic Valter though :X

Edit: Public complaining for the win, beat lunatic with flier emblem (Elincia, Cherche, Airzura and Cordelia) Wonder if I can do infernal...

- Congrats on finally beating Valter. His has been like the hardest GHB to date. I needed strat guides for Lunatic before, and even with strat guides could not beat infernal. Hopefully this time around, with better units etc. I can beat it and get those feathers. Getting the Shareena and Valter quests will be a tough time though. Pretty sure I did the whole thing with a Brave Lance Donny strat the first time, so maybe if I give both of them brave lances I can use the same strats! lol. (probably not since shareena's defences aren't as good as Donny, even at 4 star) Probably just gonna wait for some youtubers to beat it with F2P guys and copy, cus I'm lazy. (and would rather spend my stamina on TT than constantly losing to Valter)

don't forget you can do the "defeat valter with valter" and "defeat valter with shareena" quests through 1v1 arena assault! i put my own valter on arena defense last night, and when i went through arena assault i ran into like 3 unarmed lvl40 valter in a row~ ofc, that doesn't help with "win with valter/shareena on team" quests but i always find those easier when i don't need to watch the boss's health for finishing blows, esp with a reinforcement-heavy map like this one :

it took a few tries, but i managed infernal with my usual horse emblem team. i forget how delicate reinhardt is without fortify boosts, i kept making dumb mistakes and leaving him to bait the opposing mages, which is basically signing his death warrant p: just gotta do "win with valter" and "win with infantry team" and then i can go back to feather farming >:3
