Yeah that's why it's often touted alongside flying/cav units, to give you more manoeuvrability for getting in and getting out of situations. I'm really happy with my Cordelia (and I will continue to champion her, you can't stop me!) as Hit & Run gives her great flexibility for poking foes. I'd say they're suited to anything fast as you want to be able to double constantly. Really good when paired up with Life & Death. :)

The new banner is fun! Did a full pull because why not, landed 4* copies of Hinata, Roy, Laslow (hmmm), Matilda and Barst. Three really nice pulls, always need Fury fodder and Roys continue to remain elusive. I also ran out of Repositions this week so happy for my Barst. Don't think I'm gonna go any further but I like the idea of being less reliant on rng for these premium skills.

also lol I've ran out of red badges to upgrade my QR seal to 3. :c gonna have to wait til next Tuesday now.

57800+ and i still haven’t broken into the top 1000... ah, the things i do for feathers. as of eh... 8:30ish subeta time, rank 1000 (10k feathers) is roughly 63-65k points. (65381 puts me at rank 973.) life got much better when i remembered azura doesn't earn sp when singing and took that skill off, lmao.

also it took forever and like, all my orbs but i finally pulled airzura! i had a moment of crisis when i thought i’d been pity broken by rhajat, but thankfully azura was the other green orb. rolled my first cain in the same batch, so hopefully they have nice natures. (i thought about setting up a cain and abel team but my abel is -atk wweh. cain, please don’t be -atk!)

also also i subbed in ny! corrin for soup prince and tbh he’s so nice with buffs. he’s running that rude vantage 3/quick riposte 2 set and tbh i’m. a fan lol. hopefully he’s still nice to use once the tempest is done.

Got the QR seal today... I just need to stop slacking off my training tower quests so I can up grade it (and stop slacking off quests/TT in general...) I have lots of weapons to refine, seals to upgrade and skills to inherit but I am definitely getting lazy.

I also lack restraint apparently because I pulled some more for Micaiah even though I've never played her game and told myself I wouldn't. Finally got her though, although I have less orbs left than I'd like coming to the anniversary :C (Side note - I really hope that they release a virtual console on the the Switch and add RD/PoR to it. I see so many people talk about how great the story and gameplay is but I just can't afford a secondhand copy and I'd really like to give it a go.)

I pulled a Rebecca on the 4*/5* banner free pull. I think I have about 3 of her now. I wonder if this means they are not going to clean the pool? It's a good idea though and hope it continues!

yeah the new calendar looks pretty insane, I am excited! Looks like we are getting more Sacred Stones characters... reminds me I need to finish my first play through. I think that is the website although the news said that CYL 2 would be available today but it's still showing the old results, for me at least.

I wonder who the special heroes are going to be. Seems a bit early to have the new winners of CYL as the additions, so it might be Chrom, Hector, Camilla and Tharja perhaps?

I'd love to see Brave Ryoma (trussed up in his kingly garb a la the cipher card/Warriors promotion) or Brave Hinoka (based on her Falcon class). I would also be okay with Brave versions of Takumi, Xander (although they already have alts so...) Panne (I can dream right?), Cordelia, Oboro, Ephraim, Eliwood, Alm, Saber or Hector. Actually thinking about it I like nearly all of the SoV cast, so a brave SoV-er would be great whoever it is.

As to who it would actually be... I really think it would be close between Hector, The Other Ike, and Reinhardt. I'm also expecting Dorcas, Glade, Wrys or Bartre to be up there because of the Meme value but it would also depend on the power of the internet versus the casual fan who just votes for their fav. The top girls I still expect to be Camilla and Tharja, although with the release of SoV I think Celica will make a strong showing too.

(i want a groom's banner lmao) but i did some poking through the reddit, and it looks like it might've been mistranslated? apparently it was translated as special heroes like usual, but is more like "special versions of heroes," so it might actually be the CYL banner. just gotta wait and see o:

I'm not sure what your computer is like but I've managed to play both Path of Radiance and now Radiant Dawn through my very average laptop without problems. I don't feel so bad about it given how extortionate the prices are on the second-hand market! I beat Raidamce earlier today and it was definitely worth checking out if you get the chance.

Ohhh maybe I misunderstood then! I just saw that they seem to go on for quite a long time which I thought was unusual for 'alternates' so I assumed that they were the CYL! Valentines would be fun though and would be nice to get some grooms to go along with the brides. (Would love a valentine Ryoma, haha)

Looks like the SoV crew are getting their updated portraits and they are adding Berkut, Rinea etc. Also heard they are adding the original FEH characters! (I would actually love a Brave Alfonse, he's a decent unit imo)

I have an 3 year old Macbook... I will have a look around and see if I can find a ROM to play. I had a Gamecube and Wii while they were current, so retroactively kicking myself for not picking the games up while they were on the shelf, haha.

i pulled my arena offense score up 78 points and moved from below rank 18000 to above rank 5000... that's... a lot of people in t18 with a score of 4800+. neat. i finished up my arena quests with all that too, so that's nice.

i checked to make sure i wasn't misremembering; most of the special heroes banners ran for about a month (with the christmas banner being the exception) whereas new heroes banners (CYL/brave heroes and other new pool additions) are usually around two weeks, so that's why my first thought was valentines banner. we'll see who's right soon enough, perhaps they're shaking things up o:

I threw a vote to Celica because I think she has a decent shot at placing well (y'know if the top two aren't just Camilla and Tharja) and I'd love to see what they do with a Brave version of her. Man, the art and designs from Shadows of Valentia was absolutely stunning. I really hope we see some more characters from the games make it to Heroes either way.

I think you will be able to make it work! I didn't notice any lag while playing Path of Radiance; there are a couple spots where my FPS drops from Radiant Dawn, namely battle animations with fog, but it's largely unnoticeable. I used Dolphin to emulate it. Hooked up my PS4 controller to the laptop and HDMI cable to play it through my TV for the authentic experience. :) I'm really enjoying Radiant Dawn. Not sure how much challenge you go for but Normal on Path of Radiance is equivalent to Easy, apparently there was a mistranslation and I found it a little too easy, which took me out of it slightly. Play on Hard if you're confident with the series. :)

Congrats on bringing up the arena score! I tried to get a good AA run in last night but life just wasn't having it. :c Gonna have to power through it today. On the bright side I've finished TT so just working through bonus quests and then I'm done, can finally finish up the last of the Training Tower quests. Who you gonna be gunning for in CYL?

as for cyl, i think... i'm gonna give lon'qu my first few votes, and then i'm either going to try to see who's doing well on the unofficial polls that i like (ephraim, probably), or i'm just going to give my votes to panne. i'm pretty ambivalent about it, since i know that the units i'd like to have the most (gerome, priam, basilio) aren't likely to rank very high p;

I actually managed it on my first run today, yesterday just seemed to be an influx of armour and dragon teams which is fine the first couple of times but... drains you quick. Ended up around 13k. Tbh I could totally pull it up but none of my armours have merges or high scoring skills to bring up my score so I'm happy to coast in top 20k, the differences in rewards between tiers is so small.

And yeah I thought they'd work down the list and do 3rd and 4th places from the first poll too, would've made it a bit more exciting to remove more heavy hitters. :c

It's to my understanding that it might have been hard to find when they were still 'current'. I'm kicking myself for not getting Radiant Dawn when it was somewhat newish because I only knew Fire Emblem from Smash and I didn't recognize any of those characters.

I got Path of Radiance for 50CDN many years ago, I think it's only gone up, and 99CDN for Radiant Dawn, so they're definitely the most expensive of the series if you want both. I totally suggest emulating if you can though because it's my favourite out of the bunch.

Could you imagine a "Brave Narcian" if he won any of these choose your Legends events? While the idea is abit goofy as he's pretty much considered the worst GHB unit thus far ( unless Oliver has beaten him now) the idea of a "better" Narcian that unlike the normal version can get stat boons does make me think that that's what that unit kinda needs.

Her art is totally stunning but I understand why people are upset about alts getting released like this. They could have handled it a lot better; it does feel like we're getting new characters at a slooooow rate considering the breadth of the rosters. I understand every character isn't going to be desirable but there's still so much potential to be mined.

edit: okay wow the writing on the chapter is... a big step up. Like obvs not gonna win any awards yet but I'm impressed they put some care into raising the stakes and defining the characters.

edit II: also I'm really happy Sothe has been demoted. I'm kinda in love with mine, Peshkatz is so much fun to play with. My current team for Chain Challenges is Sothe, Celica, Azura and P!Azura. He pairs wonderfully with dancers so he can act again once he's buffed my squad and debuffed the foe, it adds a fun layer to tactics to proceedings as we nuke the foe as a complete team.

So far with what little free orbs I have, I havn't gotten anyone from the new banner yet.

I'm holding my feathers for Lyon though ( would have promoted Arvus with the next batch...but I've been waiting for Lyon ever since his tome got mentioned so may as well get him to 5* asap when get him.

I finally got pitybroken by a neutral Sigurd, which could have been worse I guess. I'd have really liked Airzura, but that will be for a next time I guess! Speaking of Oboro, since I promoted her and put some serious feathers into her, she's got a BST of 192. That's more than any other hero I currently have in my stable. I think I want to put some merges on her to boost it a bit more.

I've pulled a few times on the new banner, but not gotten any of the new units. Eirika's art is beautiful and I really don't mind an alternative version of her (ironically original Eirika only came home last week at 4*). My free pull was a Laslow I think. As much as I would like a Myrrh, I really want to save orbs for the anniversary (am failing badly at that).

I've been voting for Ryouma cus dammit the lobster deserves a special outfit! He just kinda sits around at the back while all his siblings and significant rivals get all these snazzy new outfits. Hinoka should get one too, then they can be done with fates characters and give us some damn variety!

I really want Myrrh! I'm so excited she is in the game, and her art is so cute! I don't understand mage Eirika, why couldn't they put in someone else from SS instead, like Ewan or Saleh. Is this them trying to make up for the fact that Seglinde can't be upgraded in the weapons forge? I'd be happy with any from this banner, though, I don't have a mounted red mage, and only have ursula for mounted blue, so some gaps here that could be filled. Still want to save up orbs for the anniversary though...
