- I don't know how you have such good luck with that. I encountered a berkut once in arena assault during his quest, and the UN was even 'free win', and then it turned out their Berkut was 5 star +2 with DC, and a bunch of other crazy skills, backed up by a bunch of cavalier buffs. I also recall encountering one of the GHB guys during a quest, but they were level 1, so not actually useful for the quest..

that's obnoxious >:c it did take a few tries to get an opposing valter for the first match last night; the three in a row was really lucky, tbh... what difficulty was the berkut team, do you remember? i don't know if you can 1v1 on intermediate or advanced, i think it's specifically have a one unit team and look for a valter leading a beginner team.

- They were easy level, but 4 units on the team. (I was using a full team of 4 too) I guess I could just start and surrender until I find one, but I'm lazy. I usually just do the daily quest ones and then be done with it.

@ KiaArra oh, that explains it! still rude to have such a strong berkut as the defense lead though. they were totally baiting for defense wins imo p: and same! i don't have the patience for arena assault tbh, thankfully it lets you back out and continually reroll opponents; comes in handy for quests like these

Haha my boyfriend keeps asking me when I'm gonna buy one, he's not much of a gamer but really wants to play Odyssey. I do really want to play Breath of the Wild but am a little hesitant with how many remodels Nintendo pushed for the 3DS (I still love my XL but wow so many editions). I understand there's a difference with a home console the Switch kinda toes the line so eh. BUT I also know they aren't gonna do anything before Pokémon because why would they. So I may as well just buy one. :^) also I'm happy I managed to sell you on fliers haha, they've had a bit of a workout on the developer maps this morning. So good for poking past awkward terrain and mountains.

I always have more luck if I unequip a couple of my skills then go in 1v1. Usually find a Valter in a quest or two. I cleared Infernal last time using some cheesy 4* +Atk Gordin strat I found on Youtube but no such shenanigans this time - my archer game is up to par so used Brave Lyn for the Valter and Sharena quests (apparently she was released two days after it finished last time, ha) and Bridal Cordelia with Brave Desperation and three dancers for the infantry clear,

For AA, these days I just run Brave Brave Lyn 1v1 on Beginner to start (wins against basically everyone) and then auto-battle with whatever teams I have on Beginner to get my daily wins, takes a minute max.

and lmao I saw a post earlier which stated we haven't had a new green in the 4* pool since.... Boey eight months ago. Wow. Explains how I managed to collect 13 Bartres since my last barracks clean out. Praying for that anniversary summon pool reshuffle still. I'm actually holding back on pulling on Hero Fest as I want to see what's on the other side first - might go for it on the last day as I really can't say no to more copies of any of the heroes, but we'll see.

I got the infantry quest done by using brave bow Bridelia and three dancers, and then used Bridelia, PA!Olivia and OGAzura with Sharena to get the win. Still need to defeat Valter using Valter and Sharena though, so I hope someone on my arena list is kind.

Congrats on getting a Pineapple! It has been exactly a year since I pulled my one and only Takumi. (I did a last ditch attempt to get another one and ended up with LIke so go figure)

asdfghjkl; the developer maps! Flier emblem was great sending Lyn, Lyn, Axura and Genny packing but sweet merciful Zeus, screw Mankete Squad. They all have Lightening Breath, they all have sky high defence and they won't move off those stupid defence tiles. The only one I've been able to kill is Fae with a Chrom who then promptly gets murdered by Nowi or YTiki while Ninian lurks menacingly in the back. I can't even dent them with Cecelia or Julia D:

Haha I cheaped out on Manakete Squad and used Firesweep Bridelia (she has Savage Blow in her C slot for added chip damage, nice on maps you know WoM won't trigger). Rounded out the team with PA!Azura, Azura and Firesweep Cordelia in case I needed to chip further. Fae dashed straight towards me, if I recall correctly, and ended up being an easy target for Bridelia. I was a bit dubious on the worth of Firesweep Bow at first but its really proven itself, especially given the prominence of DC on both armours and dragons at the moment (of course, it requires you to pull a Faye...).

i mixed up my drop week for this arena season, so i had to rush to push my score up... this morning's mad scramble for 700+ point teams in the arena was the worst. i managed a near deathless run that pushed me back into t19 but myrrh makes me want to die wafewf she's so strong ;0; most of the maps i got were bridges or trees, too, so that made it even worse lmao.

- Yeah, I saw those strats the frist time around, but none of them worked for me because all my 4* brave bow guys were - att and couldn't kill some of the dudes they were supposed to kill. Aaaan go figure, I still only have - att Klein and -Att gordin, so I might be able to do it with Lyn, but I'll need to figure something else out for the all infantry. Maybe with all the new seals I can.

I still don't have a pineapple, despite all my love of pineapples, I still can't bring myself to like him that much (and I typically love the archers too, I dunno what's wrong with Takumi that I don't like him, by all means I should...), so I don't really care. I missing most of the Fates Royalty (like I have ALL the Camillas cus I'm cursed, and Xander cus we got him for free) but I don't really care. I don't like any of them much.

At least my Arthur curse seems to be broken, haven't summoned a single Arthur since I merged them all. (No Ninos or Cecelia's either though, but a good number of Faes for Renewal fodder!) No Myrrh yet though :( Up to 5% pity rate.

Manakete Squad was such a challenge! I did manage to do it baiting the dragons one by one in the hole in the defense tiles (like in this video except I did not use the same heroes). I think I used Masked Marth, Nowi, B!Ike and PA!Azura if I remember correctly c:

Do you remember what your score was for making it into tier 19 in arena ? I did a pretty crappy run at 4600ish and since I was ranked ~33k I didn't bother to try another run haha. I can't wait until next week for new bonus heroes, Anna is the only one I can use this week >.<

My team is pretty low on BST at the moment but I managed to promote to tier 19 with a deathless run: I used Bridal Cordelia, +1 Azura, Inigo and Anna, and ranged and dancers are both considered faux pas haha. Just make sure you have all skills slots filled out including promoted seals, if possible. I run Speed 3, Hone Speed 3, Distant Defence 3 and Close Defence 3 respectively; skills which cost more SP boost your BST and that applies to seals, too, though at my level you don't really have to worry too much. I made it by about 15k spots with the latest rotation.

Maybe just play around with it and see what you can do to boost your score. One of the funny quirks is that BSTs are actually counted in groups of 5. A unit with 160 BST will score the same as a unit with 164 BST, all other things considered equal, and then a 165 BST unit will score more.

yeah, i was planning on foddering off my pineapple after i got his confession & merit feathers since summer gaius has similar stats and i just. like gaius better in general... but he's got a decent boon so i gave him vantage and it turns out the warp upgrade for fujin yumi is fun to use! o: good luck with myrrh ;o; that's worse than my dumb pity rate on the legendary banner, ugh

4830-ish got me a bit below rank 10k. i rushed to finish building my lyon and then wasted a lot of dueling crests looking for 700 point wins, bleh. hopefully the next round of bonus units has someone i actually want to build, haha ;w;

- Gaius was the only summer unit that I missed from that banner :( So sad. I love Gaius. My first FE cosplay! I'm a collector, so I wouldn't be able to fodder off Takumi unless I got two, but I doubt I would use him much if I had him.

re/tempest - top 1k is 173k+. yikes. also gunnthra is somehow still not at 4k hero merit, despite battling the entire time. double yikes.

they spread the spring and bride units over the first two legendary banners, so hopefully he's on the next legendary banner with more of the summer units! and normally i'd agree with you but... close counter halloween henry is really tempting :B

... Well, I got Elincia on my 'Free' summon (there were 4 red orbs, I summoned them all before she showed up), but I got pity broken by Gray on the Myrrh banner cry I had three summons in a row where I got no green orbs. :( Trying to decide if I should invest my last 150 orbs trying to get her, or just give up, and save for whatever comes next. I was pity broken by two red units on that banner already (and not Eirika either) so I think that banner might just be cursed for me.

We now have a silhouette for the new banner and popular speculation seems to be Roy/Lilina or Ninian/Eliwood seasonals. We still have a full day to pull so maybe see what the update brings? I have almost 700(!) orbs right now so am thinking of dumping 300 on Hero Fest if I'm not invested in the new units.

i'm excited to see the valentine's units, and the new rhythm game! and the rest of the update!! gosh, so much going on... i'm guessing one of the seasonals is another archer, which, eeh... but if they're cute then why not. fingers crossed for no robin face x:

I've just spent 140 orbs going up to 11.5% on Hero Fest welp good luck emblem officially over for Thomas. 8)

The new units don't excite me a whole bunch. Art is beautiful but skills are kinda eh so I think I can pass on them.

edit II: omfg broken by a Caeda on my very last red summon AAAAAAAAARGH. She's +Atk -Spd lol. This game........

edit III: went up to 10% on my next batch and ended up with 1 red, 4 greens. Pulled a +Spd -Def Dorcas which is pretty cool! But... no focus units. Oh well, taking this as a sign to bail out, 280 orbs later. I did get another 4* Reinhardt and a +Spd Tailtiu who I can promote for back-up bladetome. Also have a +Spd -Def Felicia in my barracks and I'm really tempted to promote her, her weapon buff looks so fun and it'll be fantastic for Arena Assault runs!

- Yes, I need fancy doublet Hector. My friend said to pull for Hector on the new banner, and maybe I'll get Off banner Myrrh, lol. My luck would indicate this is more likely than getting her on her banner. I want Lyn too, she reminds me of Saber from Fate stay knight. Seems like we might get Eliwood in TT. Roy and Lilina are meh, but since Lilina's green, inevitably I will get her (or some other off banner) and not Hector. I was excited to see that Roy was going to be another mounted archer, but that atrocious speed, he would need brave bow, and I'm just not willing to put in the feathers for that. I have brave Lyn, she is better.

fingers crossed we get lots of green orbs. and that our off-banner pity breakers are things like myrrh and regular hector, hah. eliwood is confirmed as the tt reward, which is good news for me~ i don't run armor emblem much, so that's my need for a blue armored unit covered ;w; (though, lyn is tempting; ranged armor is fun.)

the legendary / blessed only feature is...... not something i'm looking forward to. if we end up with free legendary ike i guess. i can run fjorm / ike / gunnthra / ??? blessed. somebody. elise? i really hope it's not AA style where you need more than one team.

and re/valentine's banner -- blue gift + green gift (ok, sure), gratia (fancy bow name, aight), berserk armads (he's... just here to fight. so. aight)... and casa blanca. wat
