Omg I can't believe another Tempest Trials is almost here. I thought they'd be more spread out! They're such a stamina sink haha. I don't have a 1.4x bonus unit this run so will probs top out at 50k for the seal, possibly, maybe. Haha we'll see how my endurance holds up. My Sharena could do with some love as she's inheritance-free at the moment and will have to act as my bonus unit. I used her in the first trials on my main team, as Nino support, so she has plenty of SP.

I promoted Xander to 5* a few days ago with the Voting Gauntlet feathers (I lost every round, Maria > Lissa > Priscilla, but still did decently despite my half-hearted commitment). He seems like a really sturdy pick and helped me take down Clarisse on Infernal last night, so he's already paying dividends! I did some inheritance on him today: Quick Riposte 2 and Swap from Subaki and Ignis from Henry. Don't have a spare Robin M at the moment so it was Henry's time to shine! Might try and build a better horse team now I have him and Reinhardt.

And I'm ignoring the new content for now. :P Too much stuff. I'm trying to clear through the July quests before the Trials hit on Friday. Finished fliers and cavalry but so many armours to go. Almost done with infantry.

I'm SO thankful they didn't add quests for the new contents - I'm kinda glad the Tempest Trials is coming back but I was hoping it would be later in the month! Hardly had time to finish June quests, train some new units and it's there again! Kinda bummed that they put up Tobin as a reward though, I love him in Echoes (I made him into an archer, and you know how useful archers are in this game) but I'd have loved to get Conrad or Berkut! (Man they better make a Berkut GHB one day, I just need him haha). I hope he at least gets a good sword :P

I tried one Chain Challenge so far, but I'll be focusing on the tenth stratum quests until Friday then TT will eat all my stamina! I have Faye as a 1.4x bonus unit so I think I'm going to try a team with Faye, Hector, Reinhardt and Olivia and see how that goes.

I also promoted Xander not long ago, along with Reinhardt, and let me say, cavalry quests are so much easier now! haha

Did you pull from the Summer banner? I spent 60 orbs on it and got Tiki so far. I don't know if I should keep pulling for more or save my orbs, so I'm holding on them for now. Summer Robin looks nice so it's really tempting!

Nah not yet but I do have like... 380 orbs stashed at the moment omg. The units don't seem that good so I'm resisting. I kinda wish I'd pulled for Bride Cordelia now but didn't really want Lyn so skimped out. I am tempted to pull from the Trials banner for Alm, possibly, as you can't go wrong with a red sword lord. But I desperately need space in my barracks. Sat at 198/200 units at the moment after sacrificing Subaki and Henry, I really need to trim down the numbers.

And haha I actually just picked up Echoes again yesterday, I had a flight and train ride back home so managed to clear Alm's route in Act 3 (far far less stressful than Celica's thankfully). I'm really enjoying it, especially now my characters have some power behind them and aren't perpetually turtling. The maps are still... weird, but I'm enjoying.

edit: omg the Squad Assault ended up being really hard haha. Took me five attempts in the end, though the first couple were me kinda adjusting to the learning curve. There's a strategy that's been posted to clear the A & C map on Infernal using 3* units by Mkv, too, but my Palla is sat at level 33, so I'm gonna have to level her up a little more before I attempt it. :)

I finished Echoes last week! I didn't struggle too much with the last maps, which is good. I didn't have much grinding to do too, just made sure everyone got promoted before the last few battles and it went well! (I might have to train a bit before trying the post-end maps and dungeon though, I've heard they're really harder) Overall I really enjoyed the game and the story and I hope they will do other remakes of old FE games!

I'm really pleased with the changes they made for TT, it's really SO much less of a grind than last time. The daily quests are a great addition too, these cristals and stamina potions will sure come in handy. Since I have already 15k points I guess I'll probably try to grab some orbs after I get the seal this time! I'll need to try all those new contents too though. So much things to do right now! XD

I'm now up to Duma's Tower with Celica. Just need to set aside a couple of hours to go through it haha, I've cleared out some of the first floor but can't believe there's three more floors of it omg.

And yes, the new Trials are so so much easier thankfully! I'm at 11k points at the moment as it was Pride here yesterday so I only ended up playing a single game (and didn't even get to use my Dueling Swords nooooo). I haven't missed the speed bonus once yet which is refreshing. Dream team of Lucina, Nino, Azura and Sharena have assembled once again! I sacrificed one of my many spare Sophias to give Nino Dragon Fang for an occasional nuke and switched around some of the buffs on the other gals. That helps too!

So how about the Alm and Cecilia army banners? I got my first Reinhart out of it with optimal IV's (and another Reinhart before this one with pretty bad IV's) but I got no Delthea, Matilda, or Leon whatever his name is lol.

I'm drawn to Delthea and Sonya but haven't pulled on either banner yet (I have almost 500 orbs omg, so indecisive). Sonya seems like a cool unit but she'd really appreciate being +Spd as she sits at a middling 31 at neutral, so she probs isn't going to double anything even with a skill to fix her speed. And my Nino is pretty decked out so will probs always be a better green mage. Delthea seems like a great pick, too, but don't reaaaaaaally want to pull Mathilda. So I'm at a loss. Congrats on the Reinhardt! Mine is okay but I'd love a +Atk and don't have any Death Blow 3 fodder for him, either, but I've been able to make him work with a few other horse buffs.

I managed to beat Echoes last night! Well the main story, at least. It was really fun and I'm happy I played through it. Totally different to most modern titles, of course, but it was refreshing. The last map was... something else but, somehow, we managed to survive without any casualties. And the art is incredible, I really loved the direction they took there, had a beautiful nostalgic feel to it. The only things that really annoyed me are the maps and Celica's... decisions at the end.

I pulled a five star Hector off the new banner (not any of the advertised heroes, lol) and I'm so delighted. He doesn't have great IV's (low def, hi res) but...five star Hector!

I haven't used my Hector tooooo much recently - he was replaced by Nino on my regular arena team - but he is a fantastic unit. Nice pull, very sturdy and reliable!

I spend around 200 orbs on Hero Fest to get what I wanted. Pulled Ike with my freebie orb (love this feature!) amazingly, spent another 100 orbs for Ninian, then another 100 orbs solely sniping greens for Julia. Also pulled on Tempest Trials and was rewarded with a Delthea on my third orb, +Atk -Def. I'm using her for the Trials and she's a beast, very happy with that pull!

I don't feel like I have a whole lot to say since my strategy is basically "take out my level 40 five star team and just play the training grounds or trials or whatever incredibly basic activity is going on" but I'll darn sure come by to brag about a good pull! :)

Back after a bit of a hiatus. I'm really liking the whole free summon thing, I hope they continue with that. I have been really lucky with my free summons, I pulled Celica on her banner and a Julia on the hero fest banner. Celica has been invaluable on the latest tempest trial.

I did also finally get summer Xander today after two weeks of trying so I can finally start saving up orbs again (he took longer than he should have to come home. Sheena broke my pity rate T_T)

I've not been lucky so far on the free pulls but I still appreciate the feature! I got lucky during Hero Fest though, within 100 orbs spent I got Genny, Julia, Ryoma and 2 Eldigan. I'd love to get Ninian but I'm kinda afraid that if I try to pull for her my luck will be gone haha! (Everytime I almost get tempted I see one of these topics on reddit where people get their pity rates broken by Peris or Catrias...Makes me think twice about it!)

I have a bit more than 100 orbs left now (yeah, a few months ago I couldn't manage to keep 20 orbs more than 5 minutes, but I got pretty good at hoarding them! haha), so now I'm torn between trying the Summer banner (though the only unit I want is S!Corrin for being a flying mage, and since rarities have not been swapped on this banner I don't know if I will try) or the new Sacred Stones banner for Amelia or Tana (okay I don't really need Tana since I already have a good Cordelia but her art is so pretty and she still has decent stats!) My best option is probably to wait, since these banners will still be here for 2 weeks, and see what comes next before choosing. (CYL banner maybe??)

Pahaha I just love to gossip about what's going on ( can attest to that). I wasn't super invested in the previous Tempest Trials but I'm really liking this iteration, actually, it's a breeze to get through and I feel like I'm making good progress thanks to some of the improvements they've added in. Love the stat boost to the bonus units and score bump for your first couple of matches, really takes the edge off!

Yeah, the free summon is permanent. :D Plus the reversed 3* and 4* rates are a blessing, too, and it's great to see more variety when going through my pulls. I got a +Atk -Res 4* Nowi with my latest free pull, so I'm going to upgrade her and inherit my old, -Spd one. Really want a Celica but scared as she always gets lumped with other reds. One day I'll get her, though. :) Seems like a great unit. And congrats on pulling Xander! The seasonal banners scare me haha.

That's a really good haul for just 100 orbs! My pity rate was creeping up while I was hunting for Ninian, it was getting a bit frustrating. But I really wanted a third dancer for Squad/Arena Assault. The latter is so stressful omg, I haven't really taken a serious stab at it yet, just completing the daily quests. My most successful run last season started with a team of 4* 40s, so lower BST, but still came undone on the final battle against a bulky Beruka. It's a cool feature but my team comps are all over the place.

And I'm having the same quandary with S!Corrin. Would be an ace on my flying teams but I don't really wanna deal with the old rates, and sniping for a single unit is always stressful. I have most of the other parts in place for Flier Emblem though - actually pulled a second Hinoka recently, who broke my 150 orb streak on the recent Cavalry banner as I hunted for Olwen - so I could make it work. But yeah, now I want Amelia and Tana too, both look like brilliant units.

I relate on on that as I've been commenting my goings on lately.

Pulled afew good units since posting on here, though IVs have been over the place ( poor -def/+hp Amelia), Still havn't beaten most of Lunatic story mode however, my main team can't seem to handle it well >_<. I am debateing on replaceing Fredrick with Amelia when she's lv40 and see how that goes since I've been hearing she's a female Hector....a unit that I still lack.

Haha well everything is better than -Atk, at least. I think she'll still be a decent unit as her BST is so high, and it'll make her a little more bulky against magic. I think Amelia will be a really solid pick for you, plus she'll improve the viability of Effie, too, giving her two movement to work with. I'd probs replace her special ASAP for something like Bonfire as it'll be much more useful, even with her def bane, to make the most of Slaying Axe+.

Currently my main team consists of Ike, Takumi/Serra, Rienhardt and Fredrick so I may need to swap out Rien for Effie for that suggestion if I want to keep the team balanced.

Rumor has it that Innis might become 4* after the banner is over, which is some comfort to me as I still want him. Heck there's still afew 4* units I'm missing -glances at Chrom, Larchistas ( typo), and Lilana (typo)- so he'll be just another I I hope to grab while trying to get a focus.

Hmm yeah I'd probably keep Reinhardt, only because having at least on consistent source of magical damage is so useful in my opinion. Maybe replace the colourless slot, because it doesn't add immediate coverage. Or don't run Effie! That's an option, see how it goes I guess! My fave team comp is Azura, Ryoma, Nino and Linde, with Linde getting replaced for bonus units etc. I am so reliant on dancers now, though, I really don't know how you go without. I admire it haha! They are so useful.

I think it's mostly because I only have Olivia and Azura for my dancer options and I havn't really worked on Olivia in awhile....I think I replaced my neutral one infact.

I did use Azura with a arena team full of Colorless though which was actually very interesting, I may pair her with Leon or Summer Gaius in a backup team at some point.

Currently other then my main team I have a second, Tempest Trials team consisting of Sonya, Berkut, Edligan and Serra ( hence why Takumi is currently in the main team slot). I need to promote another healer for when I want to get serious on Siege or if we have another mode that acts like the first round of Tempest. 5* healers evade me.

Ooh so I finally got to 5 star Clive on the Tempest Trials and my next target is 40,000 so I can get the seal (really sad that I missed getting quickened pulse T_T I hope they bring it back at some point).

I am working on levelling up some of my heroes at the moment. Current projects are: Eldigan (got him on a lucky pull) - I want quick riposte 3 on him but do I really want to spend 22000 feathers on getting Subaki up to 5*? Celica - It was so easy getting her to L40 with the trials. I have desperation 3 and moon bow on her at the moment but I kind of feel Moonbow is overrated. Cordelia - I used feathers to 5 star her and gave her death blow - she's actually a monster Tharja - Another one I promoted to 5* and don't regret it at all but I spent all of my SP on Rauorblade+ for her so she needs to level up before I put any more skills on her.

I am also training up Summer!Xander, Julia, Klein, Raven, Sanaki and Summer!Leo.

I'm also trying to train up Cecelia because I hear she can be quite good on a horse emblem team but I'm just not sure about her :/ I pulled a 4* Roy so I fed her Triangle Adept which has stopped her being instantly killed by blues (for the most part) but she is very fragile and doesn't really hit hard. That said I don't have a special on her just yet. Would be interested to know if anyone else has been using her? At the moment she is 5*, Atk 36 and Spd 22.

ugh, i feel you on quickened pulse. i was feeling burned out on heroes so i basically just checked in for daily rewards that whole month and now i really regret it lmao

cecilia, green cavalry mage? i've been running berkut/stahl/cecilia/genny for tempest trials and i really like her. i gave her green tomebreaker (henry), hone cavalry (gunter), and iceberg* (shanna/niles). if i pull some extra roys, i'll probably give her triangle adept, too. a special is key, mine has 30 atk/23 spd so she's not good at being a nuke unless it's blue or a (non-red) mage - i mostly bait with the boys and use her to finish things off. she's definitely not great against red mages but 0 damage from reinhardt is Very Satisfying so i'll probably swap genny for ursula for my backup horse emblem team, c:

mine is 4/neutral so she's got 27 res and iceberg was a decent, convenient choice (ended up with lots of niles after pulling for summer freddy). i might upgrade to glacies (fir/felicia) at some point, but +13 damage is fine for now. yours' sounds like she's -speed, though? what's her boon?
