2016: 2/15 6:04pm - 2/29 11:59pm (14.25 days) 2015: 2/14 7:46pm - 3/2 11:59pm (16.25 days) 2014*: 2/14 2:05pm - 3/1 11:59pm (15.5 days) 2013*: 2/15 8:45am - 2/28 11:59pm (13.5 days) 2012: 2/13 7:38pm - 3/19 11:34am** (34 days) 2011: 2/14 2:26pm - "until 3/5" (18ish days) 2010: 2/15 11:14am - 2/26 11:00pm (11 days) 2009: 2/6 7:59am - 2/12 12:53pm (6.5 days)

• No zombie strains released ** Long plot. End time was when final cure released. Plot was still open to finishing until 3/22 2:53pm.

Obviously, the last two years have had set times for when you could be infected with your final strain. 2009-2012 were a lot more fluid since you were able to keep your strain indefinitely.

Thanks for posting that, it's pretty disappointing that it hasn't started yet. Hopefully they extend it or something but IDK, I just want enough time to get at least a few new infections this year.

The past two years, I've been able to get 4 strains with small delays in between each one to bite. So, as long as we average about 15 days, it shouldn't be a problem.

Likewise, for Pokemon Go... I'm just as excited about gen 2, but I don't see a problem. So long as the event has started by the release (which is predicted for 2/18), then our strains will progress as normal. Just fewer candy hearts due to less time. If anything, they should be starting Survival immediately to get in as much as possible as soon as possible.

Well if survival doesn't start at least we'll have pokemons XD

I guess at this point I don't get why the start of the event has to be a big secret? Wouldn't knowing when the festivities start help get ppl jazzed?

New virus strains are always welcome(original '09 Boobitis chiming in!). I hadn't realized Survival was already due, now I'm eager to see when we get the announcement.

I don't throw a lot of them so I'm pretty low in the tier list. I have motivation now though, at least until Survival finally comes around.

So I guess we're not getting survival today. That's quite a bummer. Here's to hoping for tomorrow. Early tomorrow.
