I'm soooo ready for it!!

My body is ready. No really, my body is ready. I went ahead an undressed a bit so I can see zombie progressions. <3

The first Survivals, it was encouraged to dress down. It tied into the kissing aspect and was a symbol of trust ("see, I'm not infected with anything.")

I joined back in 2007, so I was around when they started the event in 2009. It's definitely my favorite. And before they implemented the redeemable skins, I too would keep my zombie skin on for the year. Boy, I sure don't miss the days of covering up.

This year, I'll probably jump into a random new strain, and then go back and get some old ones. (I have 8 zombie skins unlocked so far, so I've been collecting the past two years.)

I've still got a spring HA theme because I'm desperate for warmer days, but I'm sure I'll make something more Survival-ish the closer the start day gets.

Honestly, this holiday made me appreciate and look forward to February. I'm not the romantic type, but I love all the cute colors and sweets. Mesh it with gross and creepy and it's a done deal! What I really want is more sweety dead plushies, food collectibles/wearables and maybe a tiny bit of plot. 2012's plot feels so far away.

Every year when February rolls around, Survival is one of the things I look forward to the most! It's so fun and I love the combo of zombies and Valentine's Day.

Really, really excited for Survival, I can't wait to see all the nastiest stuff imaginable, and especially the new strains! Hopefully my waifu Ecks will be here too

Water zombies???? I mean, Merana needs to make a come back. What's she been doing all of this time? Creating an army of undead sailors and mermaids and other such things which have died underwater, I hope.

Even pastel zombies are pretty great, that was the inspiration for my current HA. 😊

Survival is always one of my favorite Subeta holidays/events every year. I always kept my skins through the year and then was a Bindi bite zombie until they released the strains as skins. I can't wait to see what they come up with this year. ?

That's a good idea, to start working on an avatar for the beginning of the event, even if you don't start wearing it yet.

I should make one that's a little more nude, like mentioned above, to see progression. I can't wait. I do hope there are new skins, but also I need to still collect some old ones. I have eight zombies, I think, too.

I was ... bummed but also super excited when they announced skins were redeemable and collectible. I'd been an 09 zombie, uncured from the beginning. Well, up until then. I still have a weak spot for my genetech skin (which I spent way too much money on) and all noses forever, having been noseless for so long. Even if the new noses don't show up so great with my original infection (boobitis)

I love survival, but I almost always forget about it until March. I remembered last year (hence the lovely Butterfly Bruise skin that was kind of a dream-come-true to get) and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to forget in the next few days, so yay.

My favorite part is dressing up my avatar oo with the progressing strains, but since I no longer have home access to a computer that is connected to the internet (just my phone), that's probably going to be a bit difficult (this one took me probably an hour, and I'm wearing all of seven things). I might just get naked and pick a random strain and let myself be a model for whatever one I get.

i haven't really been interested in the newer strains since they're a little too out there for me, so i'll probably spend the first few stages biting and watching the progression for this year's set. i'm having fun messing around with my diluted viruses + weird gorey makeup kits so i'd probably end up covering up whatever i got anyway, p:

i'm really excited to see all the new items, and i have high hopes for more sweetheart pets! i want to finish my kissing achievements this year as well, so there's that too. gotta get those candy hearts 3

I didn't get the first stage of boobitis with my outfit, but here was how I dressed in 09 while I was dying. It was so much fun though. I remember posting in the forums, waiting for the next stage to show up. Literally remember posting like "I don't feel so good picks at wound on chest" lolol [x] [x] [x] [x] [x]

Someone pointed out in another thread that the overlays for the vial infections (bulbous, lotus, etc.) have been added to the skins page in the wardrobe. I'm curious to see what ends up happening with those :o

i cant wait!! survival/masquerade is like the only subetan holiday i can participate in! i wish i can participate in more holidays but alas, real life is v time consuming
