hahahaha yes that is absolutely perfect

With like the nuclear goo/irradiated ghoul thing last year the stage riiiiight before the last final stage was just so perfect. Then it went through one more change and it got so big and blobby idk

Yeah, I liked a lot of the between stages on deathslug and freckle fever too. I like at least one of the phases in almost all of the viruses.

While I have been studying, I have been refreshing Subeta like every 8 minutes. I'm so READY for Survival to start!! It's my absolute favorite
A lot of them are lot more...workable, I guess, in the middle stages, too. Strains like Blood Rush and Grossfungus are probably much easier to dress in stage six than they are at stage eight.

I always like the idea of getting a new random skin first but there are some old ones I need for sure. I'm just so nervous I'll get the harlequin baby one. That one squirms me hard. At least I can cover it up if I do get it though.

Regarding the progression stages being better than the final... that's what I love about the infection wearables they made a few years back. They're beautiful, and are a fabulous extraction of the best parts of the zombie infections, without being as extreme as a full skin. I wish they had made more.
There are a number of recent infections where I fawned over many of the infection stages, but the final just goes a bit too nuts. (Like Heartburn...)
Yeah I do love those items that mimic some of the features of infections or the earlier stages. I do hope they come out with more of them. But without bobble heads anymore idk how they could be introduced outside of like ... maybe the loyalty card???

Loyalty card, forum shop, the survival shop, zombie den. Plenty of options. The skins can be beautiful and creative, but often very difficult to make avatars with.
Oh I'm totally going for a new one! I managed to snag the older skins that I really like last year. The suspense is killing me!
I'm all for re-introducing older, hard/impossible to get items :) It seems like the subetateam has been finding more ways to do that lately so maybe these wearables will see the light of day again.

I don't feel like something like the zombie strain items would be put in the zombie den unfortunately. It took hundreds of dollars or hundreds of millions of sp to get those from the bobble collection.
Although ... I guess they aren't that valuable if their hover prices are accurate.
I do know one thing though. I am going to burn the hell out of my battery over the next five hours checking back on subeta lol

Ah, I was thinking zombie den for the place to release new items, not the old bobble head stuff. Right now, the old ones are pretty buyable, so don't really need to be reintroduced.
(Also hell yeah, portable charger.)
I think I'm going to go with a new one as well. I only have two skins that I really want but didn't manage to get last year, and I'd really love to really be part of the fun of watching the strains progress.
Of course, if it turns out that for some reason the vial skins can only be unlocked during the event and on a healthy avatar, then I'm going to need to go for at least one of those as well...
