But most of them are older and some of them might have gone to the army (if they're male group(s)) some of the female groups might have disbanded (or about too/recently disbanded) or gone through changes. KARA, Wonder Girls, 2NE1 plus a few other but I currently can't remember many of the top of my head)

I like VIXX too, aside from Cross Gene.

And I actually used to be into Kpop before but it's all the same and unoriginal for me, tbh, so I just follow 2 groups. I don't listen to anything else except VIXX and Cross Gene. xD

I dont think SHINee's going anywhere soon, thank god, they seem to be at a decent place (with the exception of SM putting them on a shelf the past 2 years, but they've at least had comebacks and solos and whatnot). I'm also hoping for a good SNSD comeback since they're essentially the last 2nd gen girl group standing that rly rly made an impact.

No, I haven't! I usually don't follow any group's Japanese releases anymore. Was it recently released? Yeah, they had the two comebacks, but imo it wasn't really promoted as much as they used to. Then again, that might be a good thing if that means they're getting more rest. I hope SNSD comes back with a more... mature image. As in, they're all in their mid-to-late 20s but last comeback, the song and concept was for like a bunch of 18 year old girls.

on the kpop scene, the lights of my life, boyfriend, have straight up murdered me with their japanese comeback "i miss you"!!! of course, bestfriends are still bitter that they haven't had a korean comeback in such a long time, but this song is so fantastic, i can't be mad! their japanese company, kissent, treats them so much better than starship ever has lol

The MV was effing gorgeous. If you're interested, there's this reaction video (I know I usually don't watch them either) but they're all classical musicians and they all adored the song and MV.

THEIR SONGS ARE SO GOOD. Plsplspls DSP don't fuck this up. Their point dance I thought was a lil weird... but then again KARD's choreo has always been a little bit weird.

in may of 2016 they released an MV for their anniversary, and i love that song so so much!! but it only got 600k views, and it wasn't a comeback...

witch was their first win back in 2014!! i woke up super early to watch them on the show, bc the international fans had worked so so hard to try and get them the win that day, and when they won, i cried so hard ((and so did they LOL)) you would've thought starship would've kept the ball rolling with that!! but nope... when bounce didnt do as well (though it did really well!! all things considered!! i saw a lot of ppl who weren't bf stans rly interesed in it), they gave up, i guess? and then they got shipped off to japan, again, for god knows how long,, maybe it'll end up being the full 2 years like last time ;;

they were so successful the year or two from their debut.... and then starship shipped them off to japan for no good reason for the first time, and their popularity plummeted bc people forgot about them :(

just yesterday one of the members posted on instagram that he wishes they could have a concert in korea like the ones they have in japan and it broke my heart lol

Yeah, SHINee's Get The Treasure was only recently released probably about a month or two ago. They're probably busy individually though... And with their Japanese comeback. They are about to release a Japanese album.

If they (SNSD) are more vocal about coming back with a more mature image. Seohyun seemed to have with her Don't Say No solo album.

yeah i never rly understood why they got shipped to japan so fast? esp as a rookie group if you're not already winning #1's but are relatively popular, don't mess that up. and then monsta x's debut just made the problem worse. i'm glad they're finding success in japan at least, having their own concerts and whatnot, but it is always tough when your original dream was (and still is) to succeed in your native country.

they also remind me of u-kiss ;;; granted u-kiss has had a lot of members coming and going and they've never managed to hit it big after neverland -- granted their recent songs have been mostly shit but it's also cause NH has done a shit job managing them.
