Wooo air signs and lack of impulse control~! hi-five
I know the pics absolutely slayed me. I have a Thing™ for armor/weapons so I was full yelling at my computer when those were posted. I can't believe he got the lead role in his first musical alongside freaking JUNSU. Like, damn, I am so proud.
THE BOYZ!! ❤ I have a fanpet planned for The Boyz, I'm just "patiently" waiting for a pet with a Dec 6 2017 bday. 😭 I have like 200 TC items in my vault already, no joke.
lol hi-five
Omg, right?? He got lead which is INSANE (but understandable because he's got one of the best voices in kpop, hands down), and Junsu is gonna be in it. Oof.
Ahhhh, yay, a fellow The Boyz fan. I can't wait to see the pet!! And omg 200, lol. xD I am super excited to hear how this comeback is gonna sound. No Air was a pretty big difference, and a little step into a more mature sound and I was surprised but absolutely loved it. And it looks my talented child (aka bias) Sunwoo co-wrote the lyrics for this comeback again. So proud. T-T They are all looking so soft in the teasers and photos. Precious babies.
Okay, this is so late guys, I am SO sorry. Finals week...ugh. At least it is over now! c:
Ah, that makes a lot more sense! And yeah, lots are going into the army now. SHINee was the first ones I experienced...but now Xiumin from EXO just left too and...all the feels. :c I really hope these guys can pull through in the end! I hope they keep their popularity. ^^ Yeah, I've noticed that with the army thing. Super Junior has been doing well, though, from what I've seen! Didn't the last one, Kyuhyun just come back from the army? Oh, also, I think I heard that B.A.P disbanded recently...at least from their company (which is good from all the abuse I heard they got from them?)
I love creating worlds/stories so I imagine DM would be very fun! But the whole people messing up your carefully planned out stuff would drive me crazy, haha. I'm...okay?...at improv...but I dunno if it'd be enough. Props to you! Sounds like a D&D session with you would be very fun! I admit the whole hype around Critical Role has got me incredibly curious about it all. xP
I've been seeing more and more Produce stuff lately. I did notice that idols are being included...but it can revive careers (in the case of NU'EST). I don't mind if you rant. ^^
Ah, those emoticons make the difference clearer. I still don't know if I'd feel comfortable calling them my 'sons', though. xP At least not yet!
You have a very nice list of sons and biases, by the way!
Yeah, Seventeen is full of talented guys, that's for sure! I like how involved they are in everything. ^^ A kid posing with knives? Haha, Thughao indeed. Posing with plastic guns, that's adorable. xP
Yes, the waterpark one was awesome! I think my sister watched it again just so she could watch it with me? I can't remember. xP
And yeah, it was really weird how well some of them knew those smells. I know /I/ could certainly never do that, haha. But I guess my sense of smell has never been that good. (And yeah...Jungkook really did...)
Aw, yeah, I guess I did remember correctly that B.A.P had disbanded. :c It's probably for the best, though, considering I've heard their company was terrible? Maybe they'll come back together and do what...I think it's Highlight?...did.
I've heard of The Boyz, but I haven't actually watched any of their videos/listened to their music yet. (Same with Stray Kids even though I've seen so much love here for them, haha...too many groups...not enough time...until I made time).
Can't wait? BAM. Here's Deobi
Still working out a couple kinks with the profile (mostly the minion), need to add a logo to the 2nd page, and the treasure is far from done.
I'm planning on making a fanpet support thread for the kbops group! It should be up sometime today/tomorrow? .....Y'know or Tomorrow, Today.

Sunwoo is my darling son too~!! uwu ♥
Fun fact: All of my sons have titles. Sunwoo is My Hot Son. (I know that sounds bad, but I promise it's not like that.) I also call him My Sun Son.
Yes~! Kyuhyun is back and has already put out a teaser.
BAP disbanded, yes (and yes their company was shit to them). BUT they are all so committed to each other and their fans. Daehyun and Jongup have been hanging out and supporting each other a bunch. They even held a joint fanmeet. Jongup is currently in a musical, Daehyun has released an album that is pretty much entirely written/composed by himself, Yongguk has his own company and is doing great things, Youngjae made his solo debut, and Zelo is just doing Zelo: chilling, dancing, supporting hyungs, y'know, the usual. (I follow them all on Insta so I'm pretty well up to date with what they're up to, lol.) I wouldn't be surprised at all if they end up coming back together like Highlight did.
Maybe I'll think about doing some sort of Kpop D&D like one-shot here in the forums? I know other groups that do that sort of thing. I'll just have to figure out how it would all work. Also I'd have to decide if I'd want to; the Kpop D&D game I have with my sister is our perception/opinions of how certain idols would translate into that world. So, not everyone might agree with how I portray someone?? Idk my sister thinks I do a good job, but she's also my only audience....
Critical Role is fantastic, especially if you're into high fantasy stories, well-developed/complex characters, and some good old fashioned friends being dumb and having fun. If sci-fi is more your thing I can recommend you some series like Critical Role done by another group of streamers.
Controversial Opinions Time:
I've also been keeping up with Produce a bit more this go 'round (since I am trying to stay informed for the weekly update thread). I guess I'm just kinda...harsh? When it comes to the longevity of your band? Like, if you aren't promoted well and you aren't producing popular music and gaining attention then, oh well? Let's not get me wrong here; I was into Nu'est when they debuted, but then I stopped following them because their music wasn't interesting to me anymore. That's just the way the industry goes; not every band makes it. If they had been on a mixed-band show or in a mixed-band unit like UNB then I wouldn't have a problem with it. But Produce was advertised as a show for rookies to go on and promote themselves and to garner interest for when they did debut. I feel like having idols on the show is unfair to them AND to the idols.
And now with the whole Wanna One being popular as a band, but having different contracts under different companies. It might just be me, but I feel like if it wasn't for Minhyun, then a company would've worked to dissolve any current contracts and picked them up. Most of the Wanna One members are now solo after having been in a band for over a year. Daniel is having major contract issues and it's going to court (haven't checked on an update for that recently). Once Minhyun got back he was given a solo song as well. Even though Nu'est gained popularity, I don't feel like how it happened is fair to the other members...
Okay, rant over. It was probably unorganized and all over the place, but that is the majority of my thoughts on Produce.
I'm glad you like my sons and biases too~
But, GASP, you haven't watched/listened to Stray Kids yet??? Hello, the Biggest STAY ever here, and I am fully ready to give you a complete rundown of links or videos to watch and songs to listen to. I have already done it like 5 times (no joke) with 3RACHA specifically, lol.
Every time I see your sig Fancy pops into my head and I have to go listen to it~
Love it so far!! Omg, JB's face had me dying. xD And yessssss a fellow Sunwoo stan, lol! He's just so adorable and talented...and savage. lmao I agree abut Produce. I've never been into watching it though. Just cuz the whole thing is so manufactured and dramatic and idk I am just not a fan of getting super into a temporary group and then being sad when the people drop off the face of the planet. :/ Definitely do agree with idols being in it totally not fair though. They did do that one idol competition show I forget the name of with Rain as the host and Taemin was one of the judges. I only really watched auditions and stuff though, lol.
And I agree, definitely check out Stray Kids!! They are a hugely talented and wonderfully amazing group of boys. I love them so much and love their whole dynamic. They were actually put together by Chan (the leader) himself and are the first group to not be thrown together at JYP (which, honestly, they might be the first group I know of in general that made themselves lol, not sure) and it's just amazing to see how far they've come and how well they work together and all that stuff.
I actually watched TXT's Crown for the first time last night. I really liked it...I'll have to check out their other stuff sometime, haha. (I also watched Twice's Fancy and liked that too).
Yeah, besides the two controversial (?) members, Super Junior should be able to have a full comeback now!
I'd heard that B.A.P members had been doing a lot of their own stuff, I know I have Youngjae's solo in my 'To Watch' on Youtube list. It's good to hear that they're staying active and might eventually do a Highlight thing! (Daehyun has such a lovely voice). I don't even have an Instagram...so not following any artists at all, heheh.
Hmmm...a kpop D&D sounds interesting. Not exactly sure how it would work...but it does sound intriguing at the very least! You portray some of the idols? Those are your characters?
I love high fantasy stories as well as sci-fi! I already know most of the people in Critical Role having played Fire Emblem and Pillars of Eternity games, haha. The thing about Critical Role though is that /so/ many episodes/stuff is out now that it feels a bit overwhelming to start diving in and watching. xP
Because I knew the new Produce was starting, and I love Wanna One, I recently watched Produce 101 Season 2 (I have yet to watch the final episode, though)...and I can definitely see where you're coming from. The screen time and pushing of favorites is...wow. I mostly watched it for the performances and the little 'extraness' with the Wanna One members (as well as Nu'est and Hotshot because I like them, too, haha). The show is just...wow. I already know how it's going to end of course...but I already feel salty about the way the stuff in the last episode supposedly went down and all the drama (the show made me fall even more in love with Jonghyun...probably due to editing, heh). I'm just gonna stop talking about it now.
I've also been following Produce X 101 (have yet to start the watching the actual episodes)...and Mnet is pulling a lot of the same stuff again. :/ Plus, there are even /more/ debuted guys this year than last time due to Minhyun's/Nu'ests success (there's also more independent trainees due to Jaehwan's success, too, haha). I completely get where you're coming from in how it's unfair for the absolute rookies to go up against these already debuted people. If you look at who is going to make it through the eliminations, most of the already debuted people are safe...while the rookies from the lower companies are going to be cut.
And yeah, it would have been nice for Wanna One to stay together (although both Minhyun and Sungwoon had groups to go back to...). I don't think they all will be as successful as they were with Wanna One. I know I definitely haven't heard that much hype about Jisung, Jihoon, and Jinyoung's solos. Jaehwan's just came out. Daniel has been having trouble with his agency, but he did win the lawsuit against them, so that's good (and he's so popular so he should do okay?). Daehwi and Woojin are in AB6IX now (with Youngmin and Donghyun...which I do like). Seongwoo is acting? Guanlin had that thing with Pentagon's Wooseok...and I think he's going to be in Cube's next boy group with Seonho (adorable chick)? Jinyoung is in CIX I believe. Sungwoon and Minhyun both had solos and go back to groups...but I think everyone will miss Wanna One.
Wow...this got long and ranty, too. I hope I didn't sound...weird? I totally get where your coming from in Nu'est's success not being fair? to the other members (I'm saying this as someone who really likes Nu'est, heh}.
I'm following Produce X 101...but making sure I don't get too attached and try to form my own opinions (it's so clear who they're pushing).
I watched 3 Stray Kids music videos last night (Hellevator, Miroh, and My Pace)! I was...shook. So good! I'll definitely be getting into them more! (I must've watched Hellevator 5 times, haha).
I did check out Stray Kids and I"m so glad I did! I'll have to listen to more stuff/watch more videos...but I really like what I see so far! (JYP really like their green screen don't they? Watching Stray Kids and Twice and Got7's new music videos...haha). Oh, they were chosen by Chan? That's interesting! I thought there was a Stray Kids survival show or something, though?
Yay, glad you like them so far!! And lol xD They were chosen by Chan, yes, but they did also have a survival show. He made the group, but then JYP was of course like hmm how can I make more money out of this and was like lol I know you guys are all brothers already, but I am gonna make you do a show to see who's really ready to debut. LUCKILY they all made it though, so that's good. Pretty sure they were all going to make it no matter what...JYP just likes his drama.
Also, has anyone been watching BTS' tour fancams, cuz I am dying. First my bias Jimin cries, then my bias wrecker/basically my second bias, Jungkook, cries. For why. My babiesss. T-T lol
OH and the last RUN BTS ep was so funny. They played Mafia, which is kinda similar to the party game Werewolf if you don't what that is, and it was great. I always love seeing my Slytherin boy Jimin in action, whether he is the "spy" or not. xD lmao
Yes! I am /really/ liking Stray Kids so far! About to go and binge watch the rest of their music videos, heheh.
Ooh, I'm also loving what I've seen/heard of Ateez so far, too!
Hmmm...a survival show to see if you should already be in the group? Wow, JYP. Definitely a money making strategy, haha. Drama indeed. Glad they all made it through, though! Would you say it's worth a watch?
I have not been watching much kpop content besides music videos/produce stuff recently, but I'll have to check out BTS' tour cams...although I don't like seeing the boys cry. ;;
I haven't heard of either Mafia or Werewolf...tells you how much time I spend at parties. xP Ooh, and Jimin's a Slytherin? Interesting.
Psh, not even gonna lie...I have only finished the first episode myself. I just am still not ready to see those boys go through all the drama and stress, lmao. It's been on my watchlist for forever though, so I might watch it someday. I have some 'best moments' compilations people have made from the show though. And I've seen one of my biases, Felix, crying and stuff went down and I was like cries inside nope. I hate seeing groups I love cry...unless it's happy tears. lol That's a reason I have yet to watch BTS' Burn The Stage. T_T
I have never really been to a party in all my 27, almost 28, years. I hate socializing. Lmao. I just know of werewolf since I've seen the cast of Shadowhunters play it before. haha And yes! Jimin is a Slytherin. According to RM. lol A fan asked him to sort the members into houses forever ago and: https://i.imgur.com/OpZFid5.jpg (I recommend watching RUN eps 47 & 48 whenever you have the time or whatever, if you haven't already.) It's all pretty fitting when you really get to know the members, lollll. They always say how Jimin and Hobi are the scariest when they are angry. xD
Oh, I don't want to seem them go through the drama and stress, either. D: But it's still so tempting...they certainly know what they are doing. :/ Oh, no! I don't want to see Felix crying either (he's one of my biases, too, from what little I've seen)...unless it's happy tears, yes, haha. Aw yes, don't want to see BTS cry either...just hearing my sister say Jimin cried once when his voice cracked on stage made me so soft and sad. ;; I have a hard enough time with the tears on the Produce seasons...and we don't have enough time to trying grow attached to everyone...but I want to give everyone a hug.
I haven't been to a party either, haha. I'm such an introvert. The only dance I went to when I was in school was in 7th grade...I didn't go to prom, haha. I don't think I've heard of Shadowhunters?
Ooh, those sortings are interesting...and yet also made sense?
My sister is constantly bugging me to watch RUN BTS, haha...she's like, you have time to watch produce but not Run BTS yet, and I'm like shrugs
Jimin and Hobi being scary when they're angry, haha. I have a hard time thinking of Hobi being scary but...okay then, xP
omg hello idk if i posted about this yet but i went to txt's showcase in new york 2 months ago and WOW THEYRE ALL SO SOFT i probably looked so dumb to yeonjun cause i freaked out the most at him jdnsnd
I love K-pop, and J-pop.... and honestly all Asia pop and rock. Tri-Angle By DBSK w/Boa and Trapt was my favorite music video for the longest time! Now I am just lucky to get to hear anything because I don;t really know where or how to find a good stations with out paying tons of money.
Always looking for collectables!
I love kpop since 1997
I'm a huge kpop fan. I first got into it back in 2005 when Super Junior debuted (before that I was heavy into jpop). I took a break around 09, and only kept up with a few groups I loved. But, last year I got back into hard. Currently Ateez owns my soul, and there's no hope for me. I'm also super into Monsta X, NCT, Red Velvet, Twice, BLACKPINK, Mamamoo... and too many more to name.
Desperately seeking:
