hello!! i've been following kpop casually for a few years--it started with my fangirl phase w/ super junior but after that, i couldn't feel as hyped for any other groups. EXO knocked on the door last year a lil though. this year, BTS + SVT kicked it down and pretty much invited themselves in, so i'm back and more invested than i've ever been haha.

i learned of a new group (well, old but--) a couple days ago, GIRLS GIRLS?? i've never heard of them before but one of their members covered SVT's aju nice and udfghdg i want more. i desperately hope they come out with a bop so they can get more recognition.

Ah I'm a Lay stan! I was so happy that he got a solo, but I still preferred Monodrama from SM Station a bit more. Oh gosh, it's weird when I see idols that are younger than me. Yeah I haven't bothered getting into CWs at all because of how expensive it is and just the sheer amount of CWs there are on the site is intimidating. The new wardrobe's best new function is probably the colour matching thing where you can filter items by colour.

I haven't heard about Loona yet, but that sounds really... tiring... (for the members) waiting for a whole year of teasers but it certainly is something new. Then again, I was googling up the group and the members so far are all born in 2000 so maybe it's a good thing. I'm interested to see how this turns out.

same, i loved 2 a lot and couldn't get over "mannequin" for a while. i miss suju, especially around this time of the year because this and their many silly skits was how i got into em haha.

ohh man i can't with seventeen, the group is precious and yes, that's exactly how i was drawn back into kpop. i'm super glad to hear you like Ra.D too--i really wish he was more active ):

yeah, LOONA's debut project is very... worrying more than anything else imo. they reveal a member each month and every member has their own song/MV filmed at a specific destination (ex. iceland, tokyo, paris). the MVs and songs are top notch, too, so it's baffling to imagine just how much they're investing into this group. i'm loving what i've heard so far but i'm praying they'll hit it big just because it'd be awful if they didn't.

Before Seventeen, I think the last group I fell into was B1A4 and that was in 2011, so it had been a long time. I'm not sure if that'll happen again because all the groups debuting now are all so young ;; I think Ra.D works more as a producer/composer and just releases his own songs when he can, which I guess isn't a bad life to live.

That's definitely a lot of investment. I'd be really worried if any of the girls decided that they wanted to drop out, since that does happen a lot. The company is new too, isn't it? I hope they do well for the sake of the members--I mean, yeah, the MVs and songs look like they're worth every penny of it.

and right! i was listening to one of kwon jinah's songs recently since her solo album was released a month or two back and thought "wow this sounds an awful lot like an Ra.D song"--turns out it was composed by him so i was definitely happy to hear he's still in the scene!

and yes, apparently no one has much info on the company. i hadn't even considered the possibility of the members dropping out, but that's a scary thought. fingers crossed it works out well for them.
