haha that's probably because he is always asking me for advice and I recommend him weapons xD I think you are T8 now? You can live without the quill. Let me look through my battle set and see what T8 weapons I have to recommend. If you are really struggling, then you could give the quill a shot since it's cheap.

The minotaur knocker I got for completing the bobbleheads. It's nice because it scales so any of my battle pets can use it. My main battle pet doesn't use it though. He uses the ornamented hook swords (OHS), which is a T10 earth blocker and better than the knocker. The knocker I would recommend using up until T10 and then only if you can't afford the OHS. The knocker does get better as you go up in tiers. I think you really start to see a different in the T8 range.

I do use the prodigy staff! It's not a very reliable fire blocker, but it does help against the forj and flamagia. I use it as a backup weapon in case one of my other things are stolen.

I really love your blue! :D My second outfit I had lined up is just blue/silver/black so the blue really stands out more. With this outfit, it competes with the gold but I do love gold/yellow <3

boosting to 5900 would be unnecessary, the extra 15 stats won't make any difference.

the troll picks a random t1-t4 (I think, not sure this was ever confirmed) weapon and if you use that weapon against him, you'll get the win. but as soon as someone gets to 5 wins with that weapon, the weapon changes.

I'd totally forgotten about it when I was building my set for him (it only says T5 under it, I bet that's the problem ;P) Next time he comes up I'll give it a go; I don't have a nice, shiny Truth Serum to up my odds of stealing the right thing

Congrats on your first win! So exciting! :) I don't know what he drops but there used to be a forum group organised to mass-test the weapons, they aren't too active now but if the reset gets announced they'll probably be back ;)
