LOL I wish I had read what you posted before i went back to the armory, and changed out my weapons. i mainly used the Arror Harpoon, Lucent, and Aftershocks scroll along with pylonics and throwing vials and i BEAT HIS BUTT BAD!!

The flail actually blocks ice and water. I dunno why the guides and some places on site say it blocks wind o.O;

is right about the scaling, but again, replace the wind block with water block

All joking aside, with the site event boss battles, usually more battles and more losses taken turns into more damage done. I used to try to get the most hits in per battle so I had a higher damage rate per battle. However, I couldn't get enough damage in during the 4 hours the site event lasts so time to change tactics

so getting hits, counts toward something? .

Uh oh, sounds like that's me staying up until some unearthly hour to take part xD And no problem; I've got Mr. Flibbleton's profile all taken over for tinkering (he's a bit unhappy about it but I'm sure he'll recover ;P), I started giggling when I went to add some temporary friends, lolz xD

I'll warn you; backgrounds are not my forte, but I'll probably think of something xD

So a couple times during the year, subeta will have a site event everyone can participate in. The event will end with a boss battle for everyone to fight. No one person can beat the boss by themselves. The boss usually has something like 750 million health and everyone fighting him at once slowly chips away at the damage. Your damage gets recorded internally and once someone deals the final blow, staff will see the top users that dealt the most damage and give them top prizes. An example of this is the gelatin war.

It used to be one 12 hour event. That's usually how long the boss was around before we killed it. Then just recently they changed it to multiple bosses at three different start times with less health. You can fight as many as you wanted but they only counted the best damage you did to one of the bosses

Thank you for confirming what I suspected! I don't know whether The Weapon Guide gets its info from the 'Lodge or the other way around, but it's been throwing me off for I don't even know how long :D

Anywho, my pet has still well under 3000 speed, so the icons aren't super impressive yet. At least the flail is pretty cheap (tho I've skipped a few really good bargains on it because I didn't know about the water block, durrr).

I wonder if the reason it is so cheap is because most people don't realize it blocks water. A lot of people may also have that challenger unlocked.

Hah, just in case your first theory is correct, I bought one first and only then posted a correction in the weapon guide ;)

And now to see if I have any luck againt the crawbeast in BQs today - or if I have even better luck and won't even have to try.

The flail definitely helps. Once I got to around 3.5k health, 3k strength and around 2.8k speed and defense he was easier to beat. By 4K health I was able to do it without losing. I also used the pbb modded with two dark defense at the time

and I'm back ... with half a story for Yogg written in my head (why does this always happen when I'm not at the computer??), gotta speed type [sup]my actual forte[/sup] it before it vanishes!
