would you say it's wise to add two Earth Defense Baguette Crystal to the Flayed Lord Breastplate, since I have it unmodded?
I have the Malignant Rift Staff with 3 crit tears... should I change one at least?
Trident has crit, bona, bone & parched
[goes to check the scroll before attempt ] Would you happen to have a Feather Explosion I could borrow to try before emptying my OHS fund again? :P
You can try it out, but since the breastplate has a chance to block nothing at all, having a 6 icon earth block would still expose you to most of the island's attack.
Let me see if there are any earth blocking options that you can use.
[edit]
I've looked up some options and here's a summary:
Scrolls
Best option is Aftershocks, Holy Deluge comes next with 10% heal and 3 earth block, third is probably Divine Denizhen. I can lend you the last one until you upgrade to Aftershocks. No rush to return it to me anytime soon.
Weapons
I've found the following that has quite nice blocks, though a few are still in testing mode so I'd love to hear your feedback from using it so I know how it scales too:
Blocks 5 water, 5 magma, 5 earth to start with, scales by tier possibly. Comes with 3 mod slots and 8% heal. I can lend this to you long term.
Blocks 4 of each icons the island deals, and 7 of his dark icons (total = 27 icons blocked)
Comes with a 6-icon curse and 10% heal, 3 mod slots. This one is highly recommended to pair with the Divine Denizhen
Blocks 15 or 90 earth. Comes with a blessing, heals 6-9%, but has only 1 mod slot.
I can lend you everything up to the Cursed Arm Bangle. Let me know what you think ^^
I think I saw that earlier while I was looking at a guide for the Scientist. I want to try to get all of them this year, hopefully I'll have enough saved up by the time they're brought back ~
It helps that it seems like they're not doing new Delish sets every month this year, less stuff to spend CSC on. :P
Congrats on your wins! That spoiled brat is definitely worst than crawbeast so I'm not surprised you see him as easier now haha.
The flail imo becomes usable at 3k speed but isn't really the best until 5k, by which point you can already win MW. I've used it against crawbeast at under 3k speed but it was hit or miss if I won. I use it against prodigy and crawbeast now all the time. When you combine it with OC scroll at 3k health you get 29 water block. Decent I guess but it's the only option out there except for godlies.
Definitely ditch the breastplate, you have long since outgrown it. Trident and unstable syringe are ideal, trident and OHS also work very well. If you don't have OHS or the syringe, go with the PBB. The aftershocks scroll is very nice against him. You can use cobalts when necessary. The mecha is also nice to use early on for curse damage and to block some physical.
Thank you ^_^
I don't own Malevolent Gingerbread Peel, the arm bangle, OHS (yet), the syringe or any aftershocks scrolls.
Only thing mentioned here I do own is the Replica Minotaur Knocker. I'd appreciate any loans to try and beat this guy, just let me know if I need to replace any mod crystals ^_^ Thanks!
Thank You for bringing me back my item! To thank you, here is a reward.

I agree with . When you're buttheading Extremely Hard and Impossible opponents, the breast plate doesn't cut it anymore.
Here're my weapons and the mods I had on each of them: Cursed arm bangle - 1 crit Gingerbread peel - no mods OHS - 2 parch 1 crit Volatile Mecha - 1 singed
Do you need the Soma Tablets? Please remind me if I missed any weapons :D
I don't usually buy Delish, except for my current background. They're so beautiful I'm just afraid I won't be able to stop once I give in to my impulse :'( I'm actually trying very hard to hold off my wardrobe purchases until BF sale haha.
Thank you. I can't be happier to rid myself of that brat for the time being. I think we can relate so well because Cinthilocks for me = Dick Bear for you lol XD
Actually...
I wasn't strong enough for her, so I had to use a trick.
Still it's worth it because I want that bomb and now I can go on a one-hitting spree through my daily BQs. Woot!
Time to ditch the breastplate for Tziety, then :o
I have enough tokens to get those mods back to you (though I won't be able to mod OHS for using it hehe)
I also need the Soma 😂
I should probably stop trying to earn the sP for weapons and just go dirt poor 😂 Maybe I'll gift them to myself on my birthday LOL not a bad idea :P
You can mod the BoNA onto OHS. It's not as good as parch but it does the job. Or you don't have to return 2 parch mods at all. I think I've got some spare from beating Forj last time.
i'm pretty sure they already brought back lady of the waters, and they did not rerelease her scroll.

Oh not a chance , I'd feel back for not returning those parched!
Should I give it a go with this set or should I make adjustments?: Malevolent Gingerbread Peel, Malerias Cursed Arm Bangle, Ornamented Hook Swords, Volatile Energized Mecha, Intricate Energized Helmet, Recycle Blaster, Reviver Of The Lion, & Phoenix Quill
Should I change RB for Soma Tablets? I ran out of space for the RV haha
-goes to edit scroll set-
I've only been getting the backgrounds from Delish lately too just because they're pretty, but I don't usually buy many CSC wearables either.
I think I'll start saving up for the other 2 CSC challengers I need besides the research ones though, Forj and Meatslab. I'll probably try for Meatslab first because it seems to be a bit cheaper in user shops currently.
Yeah they're both great challengers so you're right in aiming for them besides the research note series :D
If you battle Crith outside of BQs, ditch everything and have the following in your set:
Oops spoiler is needed
Phoenix Quill, Reviver otL (if you've got it), Blessed Trident, OHS, Mecha, Rapier of Error, Recycle Blaster, Soma
If you haven't got the Reviver, use that last slot for your Helmet instead.
The Aftershocks alone is good enough. He will still crit hit you, but not very frequently. If you freeze him, do so first turn. After that, his blessing will be up and you won't be able to freeze him again. Fill every last bit of your AP with defensive scrolls such as Eternal or Sanc if you've got them, but I usually just beat him with Aftershocks.
I've read about other battlers with T11 pets making it to 5 wins, so don't lose heart if you've got a few losses.
The rest of the set I lend you you can test in BQs every day, but for quick and reliable results just stick with the Trident and OHS.
Yeah, I'm definitely going to wait and see if they come back for the Black Friday sale before I get any of the research note ones, since those are all more expensive than the 250 CSC value in user shops right now.
Meatslab and Forj are at least available all the time, and I just feel like they'll be worth it more for starters.
- don't know if I'm ever going for the high score table, but yes, just reading for the sake of reading. And at least it still does raise AP for battling, just not as quickly. I don't know how far I would get if I finally read all the "expensive" books that were saved in my vault. Might be nice to try sometime when I have the time to find/read them. :-)
Those sound like good opponent choices - I was thinking about The Gate Keeper and The Raging Cloud Sylph and I will add Wyrmgear to that list and see whether I have some free time anytime soon to experiment. Thank you.
I remember that Cranky Carrot. He was much harder the second time around. :-) And, yes, for a while he replace the Ice King as the RE challenger.
Oooh - I see you kept your promise and earned your Bear Head Bomb! Good for you! Many congratulations.
- congratulations on unlocking the Mad Scientist - and you will eventually get the Mutant Scientist as well. :-)
- good point - if nothing else the top health value was useful for a higher healing rate which helped you to survive.
Have you been to Disney before?
Right - I have a math and computer science background, so I understood what the weapons mods indicated. But when I fight The Gate Keeper, I see far less Parched Blessing activations than I am seeing with other opponents (when using the same weapons with the same mods), so I was wondering whether that math is the whole story or if there is something else I don't know about yet.
- how are you doing against Crithbolcan? If it would help you could borrow my Aftershocks Scroll for the rest of today (I would need it back at midnight to do my BQs).

AND WITH FULL HP IN THE END, BABY!
I feel like crying 😂
OHS is amazing! 95% of the battle it was all OHS+Trident+Aftershocks
Used RotL + Mecha when HP got down to about 800 (and seeing how that attack was of around 950, I decided to heal rather than risk it).
Now I really want an OHS sooner rather than later :o
took me all day, but I finished BQ! ALL 30 LEVELS! For the first time ever! Got 26010 EXP + 40 EXP from Buttheals :P
Time to try him outside BQ!
[edit] You Won! You have defeated Crithbolcan 1 time! ❤️
Congratulations! Now it's time to face him for real in an epic battle! ;)
Also, you might have known this already, but ...
Healing tip
I often use this in-battle healing tip, which I find great for BQs and less clicking/ navigating):
Have a set that consists of a full healer + full block, the rest does not matter. When you're down to low health, quit the battle, re-enter it with the said set, use only full heal + full block, then quit again. Doesn't matter if the opponent freeze you. Basically you'll get fully healed. Even Buttwing will grow in health where you'll need more than one hit to finish him off, at least until you've got the Bear Head Bomb XD
Thank you I'm so glad I'm done with that brat XD I hope you'll read all the books you've hoarded to Tos too. I'm also scraping every cheapish book I haven't read to Hanson. His intel is growing ever so slowly and I have made a resolution not to touch any tome until I reach T13, so for a year and a half from now he will remain a moderately intelligent pet. :D
- Wow - congratulations! You did it. Amazing work and many kudos on your persistence to get the job done.
Definitely go for it! Good Luck.
- good luck finding more books to read to Hanson as well as getting those intel boosters. I also understand that you need to read at least one book after getting enough intelligence to actually get credited with an AP boost so I guess it helps to keep a few books in reserve for that.
By the way, I use your healing tip, except I don't own a full block, so I just use my freezer plus my Phoenix Quill against some low level opponent. So far I can still beat them with one hit and just the freezer, but I do it to replenish health in between battles. I do have to say, when you are killed in battle, the new link directly to the healer is very nice for keeping the clicks down as well. :-)
Oooh I didn't know that ! Thanks for the tip!
thank you, both! :D
You Won! You have defeated Crithbolcan 2 times! You won a(n) Impossible token to use in the battle shop! :D
Three more to go! :o
[edit] You Lose! You lost to Crithbolcan. Visit the Healer before battling again!
Thank you for the first turn crit -_-
