It's interesting to know Fatal Fires have sold out from user shops :O and apology to because I got the impression that you bought up all the copies too XD. No hard feeling though since I don't need to buy them; I just thought it was interesting because anyone familiar with battling would certainly know they are not worth as much as other infinite healing scrolls. I'd stay with my guess then that they were needed for some opponents, Malerias kitty or Prodigy perhaps, or even Meatslab, as back up scrolls.

Sorry about that. I thought you had been around long enough to remember Maleria as a challenger and the MCAB being a pretty good weapon. I had over 20 of them at one time :P He never hit my t10s very hard, so I could battle several rounds before I had to heal or use a full blocker. Good luck if you get another chance today!

Yeah I think my second pet is done with the storm cloud. Not worth burning anymore resources just for one more win before the next set of challengers come out.

Kilroy 40th win against Ice King a little while ago, woo. More importantly 5/10'd Mechalag with SunDragon(early T3), and talk about a battle of attrition. Using a Regenerating Pylonic at the start of wins 2-5 made it a lot easier, and getting the occasional freeze so I could hit hard with a er the pink Pylonic, cursed sword, and on the first time surfboard bomb too, added up to some nice extra damage over the usual 270s. Not so nice was getting reduced to 19-88 damage with those regular blocks. Couldn't have pulled it off without Aftershocks and three healers though. Mech really began to be difficult on the fifth battle with more often crits and freezes. Ended up about 55 turns if I remember right to wear him down from 6300 hp.

Congratulations on your 5th wins against Mechalag with SunDragon :O. That was amazing considering he's a T3. I haven't tried Mechalag with my T5 pets... XD

Thank you! Having a lot of health definitely helped him lol. His health is T10 range but everything else is T7.

Thank you and congrats on your wins as well! You have a lot of patience. I know my T4 and possibly T3 pets can beat him but it would take forever chipping away at his health. I'm waiting until they are T5 so they can use stuff that hits harder and do more damage so I don't have to sit there clicking all day :p

it's also possible they showed up for item hunt or something random.

Hello all, I've been catching up on some real life chores and now finally have the time to catch up on Subeta as well.

Battle Quests done for today (and Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday too :-) ). Monday I made it through Level 22. Beat Scary Singer, The Gate Keeper and then beat Mornrise Serpent with full hp at the end (how did that happen? Tuesday was average. Got through Level 20 with Terrafirma. Wednesday got through Level 21 - Recycle Beast and Cursed Effigy, the Tormented. Today I beat Skeletal Warrior at Level 20 - so an average day. But I did unlock Grumpy Fish as a new battle challenger while searching Omen Islands for the elusive gannet.

Unfortunately, no amulets from Quentin and the Oracle awarded Tos 7 levels for completing a quest (and while Tos is already training in level - sigh).

- yes, you and are totally right. Especially for lower level pets, high AP and a good scroll can do way more damage than weapons. And scrolls are better infinite healers as well.

I have been doing a little more reading to my pets as I find unread books while questing or doing other activities, but I will really have to get serious about it if I start upgrading my scroll library.

So sorry to hear you still need to wait. I know it's hard not to be able to do something you enjoy so much - especially a spring activity where you have already been waiting through the winter. Unfortunately it's usually better to wait to heal more rather than risk another injury. Would you be able to do something like work on your putting? That should at least get you on a course and help your game while you are waiting.

Around here lots of students take calculus in high school. Are there many calculus students at the college where you teach? I remember enjoying calculus (and math in general) but mine is very rusty because I wound up in computer science and never used most of my higher math.
