Kids and some younger adults really need to be online less, LOL. They have grown up with so much technology. For a lot of them (and some older folks too) their phones are a permanent appendage - often even going to bed with them and used as their alarm clock We need to remind them that sometimes face to face (or even voice rather than texting on the phone) can be a much better option (not to mention sometimes being disconnected!). But I think most of them do realize that somewhere along the way.

And good for your niece's parents for remembering to provide supervision. So important online for children.

That makes sense. In my case, I react a bit differently though. All the holiday activities in real life mean that I like spending less time on my computer and more with local family and friends (and sometimes visitors from farther away too) and then I like to relax with my book to recharge. I sort of wish at least it would be warm out during this season. Much easier for all the driving here and there. But we are all different and I love to see people enjoying themselves - however they do it.

So sorry you were disconnected for so long (a short disconnect is nice, but I would go crazy if I couldn't get on line for so long - I have no idea how you managed everything). But glad that you are now back and hope your internet behaves itself going forward.

anyone know a guide that indicates which combo/ingredients are needed to make what items for the Alchemist?

SubetaLodge is down & my left eye is giving me issues. I have a gel heat pad strapped to my face with a long scarf, all I wanted to do was make some items for friends, sniffles :(

I couldn't find an updated guide, but I was able to find the recipes by using a cached version of Subetalodge so here you go.

I think for all of the worm ones, they have a chance of giving out different items with the recipes so just be aware of that. :)

25% success with the worms, bullets might be 25-33% ratio. I've been trying to increase my alchemy stash of ingredients to make people presents ;) writing of which... remember to let me know what you'd like ;)

Dealing with all the health issues, getting the ingredients, trial & error getting items... & when I will hopefully be better a mad rush to do things in RL I had to put aside = I need to get a head start on things I can do ;)

Edit: the bullets 1/3 & now I remember why I'm not fond of making those bowls... 1/6 lol some are 100%, others 25%... but the green is 16.6% & of course I made that first :P

I'll have to go through the list later, I haven't really looked at the alchemy stuff lately. It's on my list of things to get around to eventually, but I've had other priorities with spending my sP and such for now.

Seems like some of them are pretty annoying to keep trying though. ;~;

I managed to make a whole set & duplicates in case someone else wants one... the yellow & green are the worst to make 1/6 ratio. You also need lvl 20. Since I'm middle 30s oftentimes I find I get a little bit more of a chance to get higher lvl items but not always. It's a roll of the dice.

The only alchemy things I can think of I need are just for achievements, after which I sell them. But thanks for the offer. :D

There are new items? I see that fireside should have started this weekend as it says mid November.

I'm excited because I was worried it might start at a weird time or something because they were starting the BF sale earlier this year, but yay I'm glad they're starting Fireside in general earlier too! :)

If you look in the directory, you can see them.

And yeah the Subetapedia says mid-November, but usually the holiday starts closer to the 20th than the 15th (at least it has for the past several years).

The plushies are always cute, and I really like the smoke theme for this year. It gives them a chance to try some new things!

I think items have stopped being added for a while, but we still haven't gotten any new pies for Fantine (unless she's not getting any new ones this year? IDK). And no new challenger loot either for the few opponents Fireside does have, although they could be released a bit later into the event.

Guess I thought since the black Friday event starts on 11-20 they wouldn't plan the fireside event to start at the exact same time and it would have begun this weekend. That means it will only be 10 days long instead of 1/2 month.
