But it's only been about 10 days long for the past few years, so this isn't exactly new. They never really give exact dates on when events will start (except Luminaire since it's a whole month), and the 18th-20th is still closer to the middle of the month than the end.

I know but it's annoying that by saying mid month but not starting until the end it cuts out 5 days of the event.

And guess what? Fireside just started! I just got a floating rreign.

Ugh, I already gave 100 pumpkins to Charity to try to get those new items, I got 2 books and some of the minions that I don't care about. I still need those wearables. ;~;

I'll give more food stuff later though, not now.

orz I meant Charity, not Fantine. I've grabbed most of the new wearables already - nothing is really exciting this year sadly.

I kind of like the viking hat and the smoky wearable items. And the plushies and stuff are cute.

I'm hoping for more food items with Fantine though, and some stuff going out through quests or something later. My gourmand demands more things to eat.

the smokey cape will be nice for building atmosphere and depth, and I love the smokey shirt but I could do without the coat lmao. All the new plushies are super cute though!

He'll only steal from you a few times before you unlock him as a battle challenger, and then he goes away.

Don't forget to donate some food items to Charity as well, for the achievements and items you can get. Fantine has achievements and stuff for giving her pumpkins as well, but she's not available just yet.

Ah, I just got him as a challenger... he likes to steal in the battle too :o I'll go dig in my vault, I should have some cheap food

Also a good thing to know is that while the Red Rreign will accept any item with his name in it, he doesn't like it when you give back his "wreathed" items that he gives out as rewards. Whenever you put a wreathed item into the fire, he'll burn either yourself or he'll try to burn one of your items.

There are achievement tiers for being burned, but just be careful you don't keep anything too valuable in your inventory. Although there are limits on the items he can burn (like he won't burn any of the Fireside items in your inventory), but I'm not 100% sure on the specifics. I think he can burn any restockable items though.

edit: erm, does being kissed by the dragon do anything other than the achievement? "granted you his blessing."

It makes a little kiss mark appear on your HA's cheek for a few minutes (if you're not wearing any items that cover the face). But other than that, no it doesn't really do anything.
