Divine scroll is helping but I'm still stuck at max 2 wins for Mama Mush grr. Poukie is just going to have to train a LOT more to get 5 wins from her.

- for what it's worth, 81, my T4, with stats about 375 each, managed 5 wins on Mama Mush before the reset using these: and so the trouble is probably more your battle equipment than your pet's stats. Gulp, my T6, easily got to 10 wins against her. Of course, if you keep training, eventually you will be able to beat Mama Mush with almost any set of weapons but there will always be some challengers you can only beat with better weapons and scrolls which (unfortunately) starts getting very expensive soon (weapon costs for T9 and up are very high). In many ways, battling is considerably more expensive than filling your wardrobe. There are less expensive alternatives, to a point but mostly you will need to be at much higher stats than other pets without a lot of expense (battlers often consider weapons priced at 20 or 30 million sP to be bargains). Not suggesting you go out and actually buy things. Just wanted you to be aware now of what your choices are since it the differences seem to get bigger as you reach higher tiers.

By the way, for what it's worth, US Thanksgiving is always the fourth Thursday in November.

So almost 1 month before Christmas, nice way to split the time.

- as I said, you can train and eventually beat challengers. But then, at the very top end that doesn't work any more. Eventually, you either have to buy weapons or live with not getting the wins. It's frustrating to me, but that's the way it seems to work. Just ask - she has a capped pet and if I remember correctly has trouble beating some challengers. And once you're capped, you can no longer add stats or gain EXP. I know it's a long way off for you. But since you are putting in a lot of work to get that training, it might be helpful to know what it will and won't do for you in the end.

And, by the way, I know and very much appreciate how lucky I am to have the weapons and scrolls I'm using. At least two of those items are long term loans, one was a gift,, and one I was fortunate enough to be able to earn in an event.

I guess most of the battle achievements are for cash shop opponents because I don't recognize any of them except the buttwing bomber and maybe 2-3 others. So I don't have to worry about getting any of those.

I understood the 1st time & thanks for the input; however, as I previously stated... it's out of my budget range so I'll just be focusing on training. Plus, I haven't even been here 1 year yet (still need a few days to hit 300) whereas many have been here quite a lot longer so I can't expect Poukie to be at their level. She does what she can with the limits of what I can do for her. On Neo I had a medium good battle pet... enough to have fun in events & that's what I'm hoping I eventually can do here as well. I know I'll never be with the tops since I don't have the time, the years of training, etc others do. I do what I can & that's that.

It is especially going to be difficult since we have items and stuff being dropped after 10 wins. That is going to take a lot of battling.

It is nice until you get past Thanksgiving and realize that Christmas is right around the corner and you have to kick it into high gear after spending all that time thinking "It isn't even Thanksgiving yet...I have plenty of time" lol

I still have trouble beating some challengers :( Some times I use a bunch of the the throwing vials. Those can come in handy!

I've used vials for special event challenges & I find they help too :D I don't use them often though, 1 use equipped items can get expensive, especially when you use a whole bunch & still lose or tie. Right now I'm able to do inclusively up to 15 level for battle quests ^^ I'm hoping to eventually (probably will take a few years) beat Saggitarius & if I'm able to stick to it maybe even Malerias Familiar... and that's an extra few years ;) I figure I might push hp & strength more than the other stats & I'll see how I feel about more hp vs strength down the line and will probably experiment with my other pets their makeup. I'm getting a feel for strategies & try to push Poukie as much as I can with her limits. I love a good logic challenge & rooting for the runt ;)

I'm not going to do a lot of Christmas decorating this year. I have to focus on trying to make the apart functional. My mom's favourite holiday is Christmas whereas mine is Halloween. Both have fun decorations... although I have to admit that I do enjoy holiday trains, villages & elf figurines (especially those that move). A few years ago I went to a museum to see an old fashion Christmas display with a variety of Santas transitioning over the years... I enjoyed it a lot :D

I try not to use the vials unelss I am desperate to beat an opponent lol. Getting up to level 15 is great :D You will get there!

I still have my tree up from last year (don't judge me :P) so I just have to do the lights around the windows and decorate the outside of the windows. Plus do all the knick knack decorating inside.

I had my Christmas tree up for over a year a few years ago. It's only a few feet tall but it took 5 days to clean, put up & decorate. Plus, I didn't have a lot of decorations up so it livened up the bedroom (only place I found to put it out of Gismo's reach). Having to move, it was already packed up but I just don't have the time & energy to wrestle 5 days with it again :P Maybe next year ^^

At our old apartment I kept our tree up for years. I just decorated it for every holiday :D

I think there were only like 7 achievements for beating some of the normal & secret challengers, those all had forum titles attached.

The others are all for the Cash Shop challengers.

Well, it's official, the new job confirmation came through today (much earlier than I thought), so I have handed in my notice at the old job. But they have not yet given me a leaving date!
So I am still waiting, but things are moving closer.

It's great having a chilled baby in the family, at least her parents can pop along to family events and things and she is completely low maintenance. And cute.

That memorial saying is lovely, thank you for sharing it. We made sure to have a cheeseboard in our friend's honour too - he loved cheese. I think it made it very personal and everyone appreciated that.

The whole shop is amazing! It is HUGE! You could spend hours in there and not see everything.

I am pretty sure my other half had a bunch of the Star Trek novels too (He's a fan of both) and might have a few of those still about.

I visited a Christmas shop in London when we went a while back, but it was tiny compared to that shop. It looks quite overwhelming, but also a lot of fun.

It's sometimes hard to find time to do much reading, with the day to day stuff just taking up time, but it's worth it. You forget how much fun creating the images for the story in your own head is, rather than TV / film doing it for you.

We have to have an Xmas clear out this year, there are broken baubles in the bottom of the storage bags/boxes we have been ignoring for years. I think I am ready to blitz it.

The army is pretty much all donations given to me, random events and fishing them out of donation corner. Rather proud of it. xD
