I tried the mystery box when it was giving out pirate stuff but even though I got a lot of pirate items most of them were cheap stuff. So I kinda gave up on the box. I have 1 pet for gourmand and another for books. My reading pet has read 1050 books but I still need Maps for Scallywags to get that achievement.

Right now I'm trying to figure out the best way to train Poukie. So far I've trained most stats evenly except boosted strength with battle exp. Some tend to aim for tanks with hp being the highest stat... strength or hp, which way do you lean?

Holy water makes Divine Denizhen Scroll Heavens Cannon Scroll

I was leaning towards divine, but is heavens better?

I'd probably go with the Divine one, I've heard that can be pretty good until you can get some better healing scrolls. I'm not even sure what the other one does.

And congrats on the Holy Water, I got one of those too earlier ~

- personally, I just train everything evenly because I use the training center and it's much easier that way. But I have seen high health builds able to defeat challengers earlier and with fewer stats. So many of the higher tier healers are a percentage of your pet's maximum health so that can make a big difference. Still, it's mostly personal preference unless you're in a hurry and plan to also buy top battle equipment and learn all sorts of battle strategies. Eventually any build can beat every challenger (unless you do something waaay off like 35K speed and nothing else).

I don't have either of those scrolls, but I can tell you that I have seen Divine Denizhen listed in guides as useful and have never before heard of Heavens Cannon for what that's worth.

Okay - looked up the scrolls on SubetaLodge. Heavens Cannon is just a 17 point attack scroll - nothing special at all and pretty useless at higher tiers. Divine Denizhen has some blocking and a 5 percent heal. So definitely Diving Denizhen. The heal will grow with your pet.

I'll stick to the divine then. I've done my geeky math & now I'm on the hunt at the mystery box trying to get the tougher items for the scroll ;)

Since I only battle for events/plots most of the battle changes don't make any sense to me, but I guess it's nice for those who do understand it.

It's basically encouraging people to continue past 10 fights since before there were no drops after the 10th fight. Plus, by battling the opponents it gives battle exp that you can spend to increase the stats of your pet. With the reset you can get a good amount of exp again :D

Since I only have time to battle for events then I guess most of this doesn't mean anything to me any way. And yes I know about experience points and spend battle experience when my pets get it. But I barely have time to get dailies, hourlies and quests done usually, no time to just battle. :)

We have to choose our -battles-, I do what I can not what I want ;)

Just saw the news about the battle opponents. Not sure what all of it means, but I did get this from beating Prodigy 5 times again :D This time I am not going to sell right away. I always end up selling something too cheap when I do that! This time I am going to think it through lol.

Yeah, probably good to hold off selling for now since it was just released. I don't know where the price will settle.

It's okay as a weapon, I think someone posted the stats and it does block some water and has healing. Not as much as the Manifesting Weapon you already have though.

The name's based off of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Theme Song. Since Dick Van Dyke sings it I figured a male pet would be appropriate (it'll give the girls something to pamper... oh dear I think Zazy grabbed some hair ribbons and is trying to figure out how to do hair rollers on him :P)

It's pretty just as a wardrobe item too ;)

I got a few of the things I wanted but never did get the other 2 new releases so I have around 10 of the dragons & phoenix each :P I'm going to have to buy some of the remaining ingredients for the scroll, was waiting till today so see the price drops.

Prices on the Phoenix and dragon items has dropped a lot. I think the Phoenix feathers were selling for over a million and now they're only 100K. And congrats on the win. None of my pets can beat Prodigy even once.

I don't want to end up kicking myself again!!! I probably wouldn't use it as a weapon, and I know I would never use it as a wearable.

I am hoping even non battlers will be interested in buying it :)
