I usually just do all of the quests anyway because I have nothing better to do, but yeah I am not very inclined to do anything around the site right now with all of this lag.
I'll do all of them, but I'm more interested in at least doing Cinthia's to see if the payout is better/worse than last time she was WSQ
Yeah that makes sense. I don't really pay much attention whether or not the weekend quests give out more/better rewards than usual, but I know some people do. I only pay attention to whether or not I make a profit. :P
I do them anyway, but it does help me keep track of how much I should spend on items. :)
Oh, for that I just keep track in my head. For most quests it works pretty well, but for some of them like Quentin and Cinthia, it's a bit more of a guess. Just because sometimes I'll spend a certain amount and get like 5k sP as the reward, but then next quest I'll spend the same amount and get 30k back. WTF??
hahahaha. i was experimenting only. i notice someone is mass buying certain item, and quest is still asking for them at millions. so i try "closing" shop on weekend every few hours. it was fun.
Yeah Quentin and Cinthia by far give the worst payouts. Cinthia I average about a 25k payout and Quentin about 32k, but there's no real rhyme or reason to the pattern of their payouts. I haven't kept track of how much I spent vs how much I get back because that's way too much effort haha.
Hm, doing Cinthia's quests was...an adventure to say the least. _
Well at least the site seems pretty stable right now.
quiet, annoyed noises Ok but consider this: Cooking, great way to remove items, punishes non-hoarders because items such as or to name a few. You quite literally never know if an item is ever going to be used for something later on down the road. And that is a huge reason hoarders hoard items. Recycle Points or Fragging is all well and good, but the potential for getting the jump on a newly released feature that rewards having those items is far better in the long run, at least to me.
Yeah, I think the hoarding is always going to be an issue. What they need to do is just figure out a way to allow users to hoard without it fucking up the servers. Which is what I think having galleries be a separate feature would do.
At least we might be getting an answer about that soon, I asked about it on the feedback thread and she said she'd have to check with . Some other users have posted about the same thing again after me too, so hopefully they can address that question soon.
[edit]Finally, a response!
Honestly, I would be ok with this if the item vault could search items like the shop does. I don't care if people see most of my stuff or not but I just want an easy way to find it! That and I really need a better way of taking stuff out. Mostly ain't nobody got time to deal with this mess, much less the staff implementing it right now.
Exactly. Pretty much the only reason I keep all my stuff in a gallery currently is because of the hoarder achievements, although I have found that it's much easier to find and remove things as well. I certainly wouldn't mind keeping it all in my vault, like you said I don't really care either if other people can see my items. But right now, the vault system isn't good enough when you're dealing with thousands of items in there.
Also, do you happen to know if the vault paginates after you hit a certain number of items? I would imagine so, since trying to load so much on a single page would be ridiculous, but I've never really put a whole lot in mine yet.
as it turns out, subeta just has horribly poor PR skill. all this uproar could have been lessen if they just stated the the small shop limit is for testing purpose only on the first news post about it. hahahaha.
I thought they did state that the limits weren't final and would be raised. But yeah, I guess they could have made it a bit more clear that their intentions were to raise the limits pretty quickly, and that it wouldn't take weeks or months before they made changes.
on the first news, "Currently the limits are as follows...." which is very vague. they mention it somewhere in the news comments and forum post, but that was buried deep.
even their new FAQ post are sort of a long essay. for people like me, it is too long to read.
Yeah that's true, I suppose. The most important thing, I think, is that old shops aren't going to be deleted. So at least we can just let our items sit there until they figure out what limits work, and if they are able to make galleries have unlimited storage that would be great. I guess I'll have to start keeping new things in my vault after shops are disabled, as annoying as that is. But it's better than having no place to put my stuff.
yeah. nothing is more annoying than inventory full message when doing quest. i use to call the vault as the void of no return, now i had get used to using it again i guess. haha.

I really hope they can do something to revamp vaults after this though, at least make it easier to remove stuff like removing from shops. And also some better search functions would be nice.
Haha :P
I'm just trying to be patient and hope it all works out.
