good thing is today recycle beast is accepting 1 wizard token, which is nice. but sadly, i gave up recycle beast stuff long ago.

Yeah, I'm probably going to do at least 10k of the wizard tokens today. I'm only collecting recycle points for that one achievement, and then buying up all of the stuff I need for my collections. Otherwise, I don't care much for that currency either.

Maybe so. I know a bunch of people got a loooooot of them, some hoping that the recycle beast would ask for them at some point, which I think did happen once or twice.

It seems like people have mixed opinions about the recycle beast though. Because I see people asking all the time to find more ways to be able to get more points, but now there are some people saying it's too easy (especially with the currencies). You just can't please everyone.

The 'remembering to frag stuff' part of it is where I fall down! Handy now more stuff is useable.

If I recall, in galleries at the moment, even with 800k beers, you'd have 1 picture and then the number in stock. If they all were displayed separately, that might be more of a loading issue...!

Yes, that's how it is in the old shop system too. But the thing is, right now with galleries having the pricing info too it has to load the data for all 800k of those (if you have a gold account) and factor it into your shop's worth. If they eliminated that from the new galleries, I feel like that would help. That's what people want in the first place, have galleries be separate and no pricing stuff or shop searching attached to it.

Exactly, galleries should be more like the collections than regular shops. The only difference is that we can choose exactly what we want to put in our galleries, but the premise is the same. I really hope they can end up doing something like that and make galleries unlimited without it putting such a strain on the servers. I feel like a lot of people would be happy with that, and then of course once they figure out what the max limits for shops are good. Then this whole issue will be resolved, more or less.

Makes perfect sense to me. It was always weird on a GA when sorting gallery stuff and waiting for lowest pries to load, having autoprice option, etc. Not required functions for this!

Exactly! If we wanted to sell those items, we'd put them in our shops instead. While it can be nice to know how much your gallery is worth, I'd rather see that function be removed if it helps reduce site errors and we get to keep our stuff in place. They already got rid of the account worth feature for the same reasons.

It seems like they are at least reading through the posts on that feedback thread, and are already trying to implement some suggestions like making more items frag-able and the recycle beast asking for a wider range of items. They are at least trying to work with us through the change.

It's going to be a big upheaval for everyone, including staff.
