I. LOVE. YOUR. AVATAR. HOLY COW. Hi there! Welcome back to LAG HELL!
thank you :) :) :) i love my avatar too. hahahaha.
i feel the lag today too. wasn't expecting it but it happens. not sure what are they going to blame the lag after this. haha. end of last year, it was hackers, and after that a series of things to blame i don't remember anymore. hahaha.
what do people do around here nowadays? pretending i gone long time
i'm terrified they're going to blame like, the Vault being too big, or the Wardrobe, and start nerfing sizes on those too. Dx
my spidey sense is telling me wardrobe is next. definitely wardrobe. or maybe not. why they want to hurt their honey pot.
It feels like a Neopets move for sure. I don't like the way this is going. My shops will just have to sit there. Wouldn't be the first time.
the shop definitely will be like neopets. quest items will inflate because let face it, the quest item poll is messed up, where it always ask the same items over and over. while, non-quest items can go to 1sp because people want their precious shop space. just like in neopets.
just came back from uni
what is happening
Good morrow, sharky!
Sorry, vanished last night due to the crazy lag, most unpleasant.
Have made a new shop this morn when site seemed quieter. Similar format to old shops, titles of where you're stocking/wardrobe/donating scrolling on tiny screen (that's handy), does at least show how full shop is, currently only fillable by quickstock, search not showing npc shops at time of typing.
And welcome back to some crazy times!
If they start imposing wardrobe limits, I think that will be the real last straw for this site. I know so many people who only come on here for the wardrobe functions. They'd probably lose at least half of their users if they did something as boneheaded as that.
Yeah, I figured the format would be similar to the existing shops, but that's not really what everyone was worried about. :P
I really hope they end up making galleries separate, because I do think that would help with the loading issues. I have my hoard gallery with over 20k items in it and normally it never gives me any trouble. The only time it takes forever to load is when I have a gold account and it has to pull up the pricing info. If galleries were made separate, that would no longer be an issue so I don't think having unlimited galleries would really hurt anything.
of course they won't. wardrobe is the lifeblood of subeta. no cloth no money.
on the plus side. csc probably deflate after this. i'm glad i haven't spend my remaining sp on ornamental hook sword.
I've seen people say that prices of stuff will increase, others say prices will go down. I'm not really sure what to expect in regards to the economy right now, I'm just waiting to see how this all goes down.
And even if I sound like a broken record, I'm going to keep saying I hope they can make galleries a separate thing.
it depend on what item actually. in demand item will retain price. but useless item definitely will go to crapper if shop size is small.
i hope they plan future event differently because subeta event is always drowned us with items.
Exactly, there are like a million items on this site, so what are we supposed to do if not collect items? I'm not saying that everyone should have thousands of duplicates, but I don't think it's unreasonable to want to have a lot of unique items. I just want a reliable place to store everything, that's all.
Yes please galleries a separate thing. i don't even care about the achievements tbh. Just...There's no difference between the gallery and the vault, besides the pricing stuff which can and should be turned off. No need to have pricing on a GALLERY of things that you're not going to be selling.
And wardrobe limits? It really would just kill the website. And that would be sad.
cc: i don't know how the economy will be affected. i can see it go either way. But it's gonna be a shitshow, that's all i can say.
Glad the new shops look decent enough. i'm not sure how i feel about it only being refillable by quickstock, i never use that to fill shop, only to dump items into my wardrobe if i have too many and i'm feeling lazy. But i'm sure i'll get used to it.
yeah. people will want item if they exist.
they gives us tons of items each time anyway. i often wonder about it. like when they release new items, the just bombard us with huge selection of recolors right away. then people demand more, they bombard more. that is part of the problem.
there are still the proclaimed no lag vault for storage. although function wise, they are severely outdated and hard to use.
Same, the achievements don't bother me so much as I just want to be able to keep my items somewhere.
And I think the new shops will eventually be added to the item options from your inventory instead of just quickstock, it's just for now this is probably the easiest way to keep it from getting too confusing between your old shops and your new shops.
Yeah, I wouldn't mind moving items to my vault if the vaults had a better system. As it stands now, that's not exactly the best option for people with tons of items.
But yes, I hate how over the years staff have been so inconsistent between rewarding and punishing hoarding. I'm fine with having a lot of items, as long as we have a decent place to keep all of them. Shop limits are fine, if they don't want a flood of items in the shop search. Whatever. But at least revamp the vaults or make separate galleries or something so that we can still have our items, just without the pricing and search things that bog down the site.
i have a confession. one time during weekend quest, i sort of play with shop pricing using the gallery/shop switching to mess up quest item. pretty much causing quest asking over the line price of certain items. separating shop and gallery is a wise move.

Ugh can't even do the gollum's WSQ because of all the lag/errors. I've been keeping track of the difference between WSQ and regular quests so I know that hers aren't really worth it in terms of straight sp payout. Haven't had a Carl, Maleria, or Pete WSQ since I started tracking in the beginning of February. I may complain about that if we don't have one soon :)
