I'm really concerned there might be a noticeable drop in users, but other than that I'm just. chugging along. I'm here for the pretty wears and I can deal with a slow selling shop.
Yeah, I come here because I like the items and everything, and it gives me something to do in my free time I guess. I don't plan on quitting at all, and I hope some people can be willing to at least wait it out a bit and see how things improve, since this adjustment isn't even close to being finished.
i think so too. the number of active users is not that great to begin with.
I feel like it always goes down though when there's not much going on. During events, there are always more people around the site daily, but in the off periods there aren't as many.
yes it is. i always wonder where are all this active during events people go during off period. and why regular time is not attractive to them.
It could be that the same amount of people come around daily, but they only stay for a short period of time to do dailies and quests and things, then they leave. So at any given time, there will be fewer users online at once. On the other hand, during events people might stay online for longer periods of time to dance or give flowers or whatever else, so the amount of users online at a given time goes up.
At least that's one possibility. It's also possible that some people only come around for events and don't really participate during other times of the year, but who knows for sure.
^That. I do that. I'm on here daily, but the amount of time varies. I check in regularly because I want to make sure my battle pet is constantly training. I try to stay and chat sometimes but I lurk. A lot. I'm way too lazy to continuously chat :)
ah yess, i see that now.
is the daily support goal always been low on regular basis? or is it just people being upset doesn't want to spend money? i used to remember it always either 100% or close to it.
On a day-to-day basis, I don't pay much attention to it. But I know it usually goes up to 100% pretty quickly whenever they release new CSC items, like the battle challengers or the monthly Delish outfits. Or when they have the bonus weekends.
That's probably part of it. The support goes WAY up when there are new cash shop items/collections, but stays pretty low otherwise because people don't need CSC to buy stuff. It does seem like it's WAY lower on a day-to-day basis (or at least really red) but then reaches 100% within a few minutes of stuff being released. If it were a monthly goal, I think it would be fine still compared to other months.
For me, I'm just not around that much lately because of the lag... Sometimes I open the subeta tab and it'll take 20 seconds to load so I just close it, other times I try to restock and the shop items loading completely lags every other tab (I'm always watching streams and it completely freezes). I don't remember it being like this like 1-2 months ago but maybe it's just my problem.
what ever happens, i hope the lag is gone. and i wish for fast recovery of subeta. this look like a big blow. especially if the lag still bad after this. i hardly here anymore, yet i can feel the lag many times i visit.
I think it's worse with everyone with a GA who's trying to set up new shops/galleries and move stuff around. We'll see what happens with everything when Grace gets back from her staycation and can hopefully address some of what's been said on the GA thread.
Yeah, I'm thinking that's probably what's causing a lot of the lag right now too, but it could get better once they disable all of the old shops soon.
I would like to see them address the issues of galleries having unlimited space and perhaps why that decision was changed. Because even though we sort of got a response about how they're testing the limits to see the effects on the database, it didn't really answer the questions people were bringing up about how last year when they talked about galleries being a separate system.
Well, I log on after a busy RL weekend - shower managed to blow, burning wires are not as exciting/fun as I thought...
...and there's 25,275 items in donation corner!
I assume there is still blind item-panic enveloping the site.
But as it looks like us sharks are still hanging on in there, it's looking OK to me. :)
Right, best check the updated feedback about the shops. I may be some time...
Up to 46k items in the donation center. i'm loving this, so many new items for me. xD totally isn't adding items to her hoard still because she's totally not a packrat. >_<
I wish I could get this shirt for all my sharks, is there a Harry Potter shark out there?
what's up with the petition and no online day? they do realize the change is going to happen right?
pulls up a seat to stalk the donation corner
edit: grabbed a comet reindeer plushie yessss
Yeah, I'm just going to continue being patient and see how it goes. I'm liking the Recycle Beast changes announced today, it should help me get to 35k more quickly so I can finally start buying stuff from there.
I don't really get it either. All it's really going to do is just show that people are unhappy, which we've already done with all of our comments on the feedback thread. I'll probably still be around that day because I feel like they are at least listening to people's concerns and talking about making changes or whatever else to try to compromise.
Most of the people with the petition I think just don't want it to happen at all, but I mean they have been talking about at least retiring the hoarding achievements for a while now. In the end, I think it will end up okay but of course big changes usually meet a lot of resistance at first.
Congrats on your plushie!
