- lol. I have a couple bookmarked fics from FF.net but haven't been there in years! I mostly only read what people send me too, but very few people send me anything these days. I also don't really have any fandoms that I am passionate about anymore. I'm looking to adopt out Demyx_melodiousnocturne because I'm just not that into that fandom anymore. (Although I'm pretty stoked for Big Hero 6 to be in the new game, I have no way of playing the new game, and I'm not interested enough in it to buy a console for it)

KH3 is gonna be rad as hell, though. If I'm not still in Dragon Age hell I'll probably end up writing a ridiculous amount for it... just watch...

I still do, but I'm also a big reader so I can't help myself. I also get that urge to read a certain pairing that I usually don't write for, and it's not very fulfilling to read my own fics xD

I could do that, but I also have a feeling that a lot of the stuff I'd ask about I wouldn't be able to get clear answers on because a lot of the stuff I write is angst-based and soul-crushing xD;

Yeah... when one of the people in a pairing is your own player character, you kinda -have- to write it for it to exist. The troubles of falling desperately in love with your Inquisitor and his boyfriend... thousand-mile stare

Pretty much, yeah xD I definitely throw myself headfirst into fandom pairings, which is why I can find fics, though I do have a rarepair that comes to mind that is absolutely horrendous to find good fanfic of, which is why me and my girlfriend RP it instead xD

Oh man... rarepairs. That's a whole different level of frustration, lol! My fiancee and I started as an RP pair for a couple rarepairs we both loved... now we still RP a bit, but not as often as we used to. We both write, though, and some of our RP-turned-collab works have wound up on AO3... XD;

Oh it definitely is, especially when you can't even find (good) stuff on tumblr or any of the fic sites xD;

My main fandoms right now are Left 4 Dead 1+2, Protocreed (crossover between Prototype and Assassin's Creed), and I'm sliiiiightly ghostly around the Harry Potter fandom but I don't write for it except for AU things I mainly just ship things in it lmao xD

There's definitely more that I'm in, but L4D/2 and Protocreed fandoms are the ones I pay most attention to.

It's especially fun when it's so crack/unheard of that it doesn't even exist ._. I've had two of those that I can remember offhand... blech!

Ahahaha oh god yea xD crack pairings are the best because you take two characters that would never meet under normal circumstances and smoosh them into a ship xD Fun fact, on a RP site that I used to frequent a lot, me and a friend paired Dark Link (Legend of Zelda, the very first character I RP'd with on Neopets lmfao) with Clopin from Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame. Now that's a crack pairing.

Speaking of, I just remembered two other -- Legend of Zelda, and Supernatural. Both of them I, yet again, don't write for, but I do follow pairings I have in the fandoms. :p And yes, having a good RP partner makes it a lot of fun. ^^ My girlfriend doesn't think she is, but she's definitely a very good RPer, especially since she's less embarrassed by smut RP than I am xD;

Oh wow XD And here I thought my fiancee's and my "crack" Naruto ship was amusingly out there. At least they're from the same series? LOL XD You have me beat by miles!

The site itself basically encouraged crack ships though, since you could choose any character from any series, or OCs, and RP them and interact with literally everyone xD Relationships, fights, one-night stands, literally anything :p It was fun times xD

And that is very, very true! Especially one that you never argue with about what should happen in RP and one that you can actively torture with angst ideas xD

- lol. I never wrote any KH fanfic myself, but man, I spent a ton of my university time reading it. Good fic, bad fic, I didn't even care. I dunno, I kinda lost interest after the first 2 (4) games, having no way to play them didn't really help. I started 3Ds, but never got that far into it, I couldn't tell if it actually was part of the main plot or not.

That's awesome! Nothing like the massive multi-fandom games for crazy ships like that ^^ And a friend is one who will cry with you over your sad headcanons - a BEST friend is one who will add to that sad headcanon and make it worse XD

LOL - that's the thing... they are all related to the main plot. Every. Single. One. But that's why they're releasing them now in compilations prior to KH3 coming out. Before this year, my last attempt at writing anything NSFW was with KH, actually... never did get very far with it, though. That was about 3 years ago... yikes.

Oh believe me, when I dare throw angst ideas at her, she tends to take them and run and make me regret saying anything because then we end up with a monster of pain and agony and we have no one to blame but ourselves because all we do is continue to try and outdo the other with sadness and pile the angst up xD

- Yeah, that's kinda why I lost interest, because the plot was too hard to keep track of, especially if all you can do is watch the cutscenes. I had a friend of mine, who is really into the fandom and has played all the games multiple times, explain how 3Ds fits in, and even after that I was confused. Needless to say, I never finished the game. I should go back and finish days though, because it was I sort of understood where that game was going, and it was also fun to play.

LOL that's kind of the best thing though! "Here, have a sad" and then you get it back 1000000000x worse XD I like to balance my sad with a huge amount of sweet and fluff though, personally. Even my nsfw things usually end up sappy! LOL

I adore those games. Birth by Sleep is probably my favorite, gameplay-wise, but they're all hella fun to me. I look forward to marathoning all of them with my fiancee when KH3 gets a North America release date!

We do that too, especially after angsting for so long we switch gears and start the "WELL HOW ABOUT THEY CUDDLE INSTEAD OF DYING" train :') My girlfriend definitely gets me back for throwing angst at her, she makes me really feel it hard when I dare give her sad ideas to work with xD

Also - I finally got through the little buffer scene I was trying to get done before patching all my short fics from Tumblr together and posting them on AO3 ^^ So tonight I'll be doing some patchwork and hopefully posting!

Something I've heard for getting out of a stick-spot: What would be the worst thing that could happen in to the characters in the situation they're in right now? Throw that at them.

It doesn't always work, but sometimes it makes you think and then you find another way around ^^
