Pet Name: Bomb Squad

Setting: A battleground of sorts leftovers from a long and hard never ending war. apocalyptic and dark. A time in winter when the air was cold enough to freeze your face just stepping outside. This takes place sometime in the future the battle was won but the war is not over.

Personality: He is very dark and moody due to the things he has seen. He has seen things he would never wish upon his worst enemy. He lives to bring his squad home though who knows if it will happen. His family died before him as he was unable to save them. The sad truth is there is a virus like every other story. He had no choice but to kill those infected even his own flesh and blood. There are three sides to the war both people one in the same and those infected. The infected are not zombies the virus turns them into half animal half human beasts with no minds they go insane. I am one of the few survivors of that very virus.
We will fight and we will win. How many good people must we loose before we win the war?

PoV: First

Physical traits: He was cursed by the Evo virus but somehow managed to survive. He did not loose his mind like the rest of those infected. He continues to lead his squad the loyal men and women who still follow him. His face is badly scarred due to being attacked by one of his family that was infected. Somehow he also grew wings though useless they always grow back whenever he tries to get rid of them (they get bigger each time). He does not show emotions and leads with a stone fist. What he says goes he was a a member of the bomb squad before any of this happened. The virus is a recent thing starting only in the past few years but he has adapted and changed just as fast. He is not the man he once was and who knows if that is good or bad? He is able to tell if a bomb is still active or if its just a shell. He always carries a hunting knife that was gifted to him on a long lost trip to Asia. The hilt is a dragon and the knife emerges from its mouth. It has saved his life many times.

Likes/Dislikes: He dislikes the war and everything about the current situation. He also hates those who defy him.

Other characters to include: His squad and family before they died. He had a young son and daughter along with a wife he still has her picture though he refuses to look at it. He does not have any pictures of his kids.

Preferred Length: Long enough for the whole story

Anything else?: Whatever you want to put in i really want this to be unique in its own way. Like perhaps the origin of the virus how it started with one human getting bit by an unknown animal running off attacking others the start of it all.

First draft for Alchium. I went for the creepy narrator voice and tried to give it the feel of dark village lore. Please let me know any changes you would like. I should be able to get a start on Bourban's story tomorrow and have a draft for you either by tomorrow or Tuesday evening - I won't be home Monday but I will definitely have the 2nd story for you by Tuesday. :)

First draft for Bomb Squad. I was in the mood to write a darker story so I hope you like what I came up with. I think I got all the listed details but please let me know if I missed any. I made it a point to try to keep the details as unique as possible, though there will be some degree of "expected" details in a post-apocalyptic story like the creatures ganging up on the heroes and the government trying to stop the spread of the outbreak. I'll be happy to make any changes you would like. :)

I have the same problem. I'm always thinking up good/heroic characters which is why some of my recent pets are a bit more on the dark side. I have Lot and this was a long story at 3 mil.

First draft for Bourban. I don't think I've ever done a 1st PoV story for a character from another nation so this was a fun challenge. :D I tried to give him the right personality without making it overwhelming. I wasn't sure if his story should take place in Russia, so I made Rivet City more like another world or unknown part of the world that was claimed by that nation. Please let me know any changes you would like.

Pet Name: Styx Moondreamer

Setting: A mostly intact library, with beautiful stained glass and rich dark wood paneling and shelves, in an abandoned small human town next to a river that a temperate forest has taken over.

Personality: Styx is cheerful and friendly to those he knows, but is wary of strangers.

Optional:

PoV: Whatever you think works best.

Physical traits: Young adult Blacklight lasirus.

Likes/Dislikes: He loves to read and learn, esp any kind of History, but anything will do.

Other characters to include: His minion Spitz the Firecracker Bug, that is with Styx constantly, and Vyromere a mostly white owl (I don't know what kind) that takes care of the library and taught Styx how to read. He teaches other intelligent animals too, and enforces a truce among the species so that any who wish to learn are welcome. Many of his students bring him some kind of food so that he doesn't have to hunt often. It also helps to keep the peace. lol All the students including Styx also protect Vyromere and the library in turn as they are able.

Preferred Length: Standard or long, wherever your creativity takes you. lol

Anything else?: Styx was terrified of Vyromere at first, because owls are known to eat bats. But when he realized that was not the case he relaxed. Likewise Spitz was scared of Styx as bats eat bugs, but they formed a bond in the library. Styx is a new teacher of History now, and is somewhat nervous in front of the class. But when he speaks about History it disappears and his passion is enthralling. He will be an excellent teacher, which Vyromere knows, but Styx is unsure.

Pet Name: Onyx Nightspirit [pet not found]

Setting: A mountain home in a forest with an awesome view, esp at night with millions of glittering stars and the beautiful moon so prominent it seems close enough to almost touch.

Personality: Onyx is usually cheerful and friendly, and likes to play. But he can be stubborn - esp when he is supposed to be studying and would rather watch the moon and imagine daring adventures in the night.

Physical traits: Young black Chibi Torrey with turquoise eyes and wings.

Likes/Dislikes: He loves the night. He collects snowglobes esp, but loves any type of orb because of his fascination with the moon.

Other characters to include: His minion Obsidian the cave cat.

Anything else?: I have a quote on his profile: "I felt myself on the edge of the world; peering over the rim into a fathomless chaos of eternal night." by H. P. Lovecraft. It gives the feeling to me that I would like used as a love and wonder of the night. Only some parts could be known, and though there are obviously scary things out there, the sheer beauty and mystery of it captivates the soul. That is behind the 'Nightspirit' part of his name. If you could use his name as part of the story line too somehow, it would be grand.
