Setting: The shore by the Fae forest (chokes and dies)

Personality: tender, compassionate, loving

Physical traits: x during the winter & fall, and x during summer and winter she does not shrink in size, just grows thicker fur and horns. in the ivory form, the antlers are like white kelp. when she goes swimming her hind hooves turn into a fish tail.

Likes/Dislikes: swimming~ , hates garbage in the water ways :c

Other characters to include: The other spirits if youd like though she is very good friends with Froseti

Anything else?: Carnaxa is the spirit of all waterways, she approves of human building to make water travel easier. She lives by the saying 'be kind and have courage', no matter how badly people treat her she does not fight back. she is able to walk on water, and can purify polluted water as well.

The only thing with fan pets is I may need some help getting the exact setting details (like if there is anything in particular about the city unique to the City of Progress vs. a regular city.)

One small question I have for Carnaxa is where you say in the setting she chokes and dies, did you mean this should be the ending? I was thinking human pollution could cause her death but then I saw that she can purify polluted water. Maybe destruction of the human city is so terrible that her home is polluted beyond repair and this is why she dies?

Here is the first draft for Fei Yen. I gave the heavier dialogue to Zhen Ji and Meng Yao because Fei Yen is more the quiet thoughtful type willing to listen to Zhen Ji's complaints and Meng Yao's chatter. Please let me know and changes you would like.

Here is the first draft for Zhen Ji. I really did have fun with that chase scene. I do apologize for the absolutely awful chicken jokes, but I figured this would be a great way for Meng Yao to drive Zhen Ji crazy :D. Please let me know any changes you would like.

(Also, I wasn't sure on the names of the other zodiacs like the Monkey, Tiger, and Dog but they did play into the story so if you guys want any names changed just let me know.)

Here is the first draft for Jinx. I did a bit of basic research on where her character came from so I hope the details are fitting. Let me know if anything looks off. (I also hope I used those catch-phrases right because I did try to stick a few in there. xD) I also included an inspiration note in the credits. (Something I always do with fan pets.)

It literally made me say "Awww" multiple times xD The only change I ask is if you could take out the mention of Meng Yao having whiskers, that would be great. He is the representative of the Rabbit zodiac but he only has rabbit ears and a rabbit tail, no whiskers xD

ALSO, it says you have a slot open, I would love to get a separate story focusing more on Fei Yen's and Meng Yao's relationship, perhaps focusing more on how they met. Would a long or complex be best for this?

as for this part: " Zhen Ji stamped a booted foot, the rooster feathers at her back quivering." i actually drew her design to be rooster inspired, but she doesnt actually have any rooster features thats on her OTL I just realized that it was kinda weird to do that @@;; oh well i guess the rooster feathers on her skirt are real, but they just arent a part of her ^^;; and i dont have a clue how she was able to get that many feathers LOL XD;; I shouldve thought about it more when designing her

An updated draft for Fei Yen. I'm so glad you like it. :) I went ahead and just took that line out because it wasn't really needed. I kind of figured their designs were more inspired by their spirit animals than that they took the shapes of animals, but I wasn't 100 percent sure.

I would be happy to do another story for you. I'll put you back in a slot as soon as we finish the exchange for these stories/profile. Since I already know so much about the characters you don't have to fill out a full form, but if you wanted to give me a basic outline of what ideas you have for the story I'll be able to let you know if long or complex would work best.

An updated draft for Zhen Ji. Thank you. :D I don't get a lot of chances to write humor but funny scenes are always fun to write. I changed the name I had for Wei Yan. I was looking through some of your character designs in your collection and I did see that you had one for the Snake but I wasn't sure if all twelve had characters or if they were WIP so please feel free to use the names I came up with or alter them as needed. I did keep in the line about him working as a plow horse because it felt like the sort of rude comment someone with a short temper might make. xD

I changed the part about rooster feathers to them being on her belt, more like a fashion accessory than a part of her physical form. I figure it makes sense for her to wear some feathers aside from the ones on her weapon.

Everything looks perfect! I also love what you did with the festival, super creative 8D

There were 2 ways I was thinking you could go about doing the story for them.

1. You kind of go back in time to before they were together and write the story from there and then towards the end hint that they will be together for a long time.
2. They could be celebrating their anniversary and have more of a flashback story.

Either way, I was thinking that before they were together, Meng Yao had been crushing on Fei Yen for a long time but didn't have the courage to ask her out because she had refused all the other zodiacs that had asked her before. Also the fact that I'm sure Zhen Ji would be very protective of Fei Yen and chase off everyone somehow lol

I was thinking that for their first date, Meng Yao would not act himself because he was trying to be all calm to match Fei Yen but then perhaps Fei Yen in the end explains that she likes him the way he normally is, full of energy all the time.

That was just something I thought off while going to work, if there's anything else that pops into your mind let me know! You always have great ideas C:

I was thinking it would be the early stage of their relationship/right before they started dating and how the relationship evolved. I've already got ideas of how Zhen Ji would attempt to chase off possible suitors. :D I was also thinking maybe Fei Yen was unsure about Meng Yao at first but he somehow shows his sweet, sensitive side that not many people get to see and she gets infatuated with him. I think I can have an outline for you sometime tomorrow and a definite answer on long or complex. I'm out of town most of Friday but that would give me the whole weekend to work a draft.

Honestly, the names I used were random, sort of roughly based on names you had already created for existing characters and names I thought seemed appropriate based on the guardian spirits. I'm good at random names. :) (Also from my list there is Xan Pei the Rat, Yin Quan the Dog, and Xhan Ti the Tiger if you would want those in your list. I think I referenced the Dragon as well but didn't give him a name.)

I'm ready to do the exchange whenever you would like. I can send the stories or if I get the profile code I will wait to use until both stories have been sent.

Here is the first draft for Meng Yao/Fei Yen. I went a little crazy with describing some settings so this one ran longer than expected (just over 3,600 words). I won't worry about pricing until revisions since word count is likely to change anyway, but since I quoted you a standard complex (2,500-3,500) I can take out a paragraph if you like. It's always hard to know exactly how far an idea will go before doing the writing. :)

Aah that is so cute!! There is just one thing, I was wondering if you could tweak the part where they are in the canyon. After the paragraph where Fei Yen shudders at the idea of sliding down maybe you could put the paragraph where Meng Yao decided not to bring up stupid things like that anymore right after that? So that way there's more of a transition.

Also, is it possible to somehow rearrange the paragraphs so there's more "space" in between the first time Fei Yen asked if Meng Yao is feeling alright and the second time? It just feels super rushed/the timing feels off if that makes sense. So maybe rearrange/edit some paragraphs to really emphasize how Meng Yao is acting out of character so maybe he's walking more stiffly than usual trying to act prim and proper, stuff like that. x'D

I apologize for the delay, I live Jinx's story, it really captures her insanity, though to be sure even a rookie cop would know that jinx is the most wanted criminal in piltover.

Now for Carnaxa, I compared both Froseti and thus draft if the story. In his story, the barrier was put up much after the humans went extinct, after a being with yellow eyes and toxic fumes was discovered. In carnaxa's tale, out is put up during extinction.

A note for everybody waiting for story drafts: I found out today I'm going to work full-time after two very difficult years. My start date is rather sudden (Wednesday) but since all of these drafts are in the revision stage, I should be able to finish them in a reasonable time, though my drafting hours will be limited to evenings after tomorrow.
