I thiiiink I'm going to go to the Scavenger Hunt. Hopefully I'll find something good. Not getting a great feel from this party, gotta say. XD

Oh, how brilliant! I'd love to explore the hedge maze. :) This place is incredibly impressive. stares around
I´ll go with you because we shouldn´t go alone somewhere! ^-^

Sounds great! links arms and strolls down to the maze :)
I am so glad you have some experiences here ! :-)

Mazes aren't too difficult so long as you have patience and enjoy yourself. :)
Reminds me of Alice in Wonderland! (Behind the looking glasses)

Linna was impressed by the size of the interior. As the host spoke, she kept on checking the structure. The other people on masks seemed like having fun. But the fact that they all wore full masks made her feel somewhat strange. As Malcolm finished speaking, Linna turned to her friend. "Hedge mazes, galleries and scavenger hunts! he surely thought of everything!" Linna smiled. "What would you like to do first, Tales? The maze and the Hunt peeked in my curiosity, but you can choose anything you'd want." Linna wanted to explore and find clues as to the purpose of the ball, and Malcolms intentions.

I think I should like to join in the scavenger hunt as well! It's a great excuse to do some exploring :)
Nine7tales glanced around the room. "Oh Linna! What wonderful costumes everyone has on! And isn't Immsmore Castle incredible?
Hedge mazes, galleries and scavenger hunts! All those things sound like so much fun. Can we start with the maze first? I've always loved mazes since I was a child. When my friends came over to play I would create a maze on paper for them to do. It was so much fun watching them try to complete it. This is like that, only life size! Oh, this is all so exciting!
which way do you want to go? I kind of want to do the scavenger hunt.

"Hedge maze it is!" Linna smiled as she started walking towards the gardens. "I hope we find something interesting inside it!"

<p>Each visitor was dressed lavishly with ornamental masks that seemed to cover the whole of their countenance, twisting their faces into gnarled caricatures of predatory creatures. The party in the grand hall seemed to stop for a moment as the herald announced each and every guest as they came through the foyer and into the ballroom.</p>
<p>On the far side of the ball, up the bridal stairs and on a loft was a man in the most exquisite of costumes, though his mask only covered the top half of his face. "It&;s so wonderful to see all of you! I trust you arrived safely?" His warm voice rolled up from the depths of his chest and somehow carried across the whole ballroom. With that, he made his way down the stairs and into the center of the ballroom, rapidly approaching the newcomers with a boyish smile.</p>
<p>"Oh, how rude of me. I seem to have forgotten myself--I am Malcolm Niven, your host. But I&;m afraid the rest of them won&;t be so quick to part with their identities." He motioned to the two and one score guests that littered the ball room, partaking of the hors d&;oeuvres, sitting at the assigned guest tables chattering, or dancing. "Now that you all have arrived, I supposed the party can commence." The man nodded approvingly.</p>
<p>"Dinner will be served at nine o&; clock sharp. The costume contest will start after that. Until then, you can stay and converse with the other guests, visit the living gallery, tour the hedge maze, or start the scavenger hunt. My one suggestion is that you travel in groups." Malcolm licked his lips nervously and gave a fretful smile. "This place is awfully large, I would hate to think of anyone getting lost."
As Szarwas made her way through the grand hall she was still wondering where might be. She thought she heard her name earlier, but still couldn't spot her. Hopefully she'll bump into her at the dinner at last. Till that, here is a huge castle to explore! Oh. But Malcolm Niven said not to go alone... Or... is he a Sir? Mr? She was still wandering when she saw a group and caught the word 'scavenger hunt'. A scavanger hunt sounds like fun! I should join them. Grinning, she quickly made her way towards the group to join them

A cacophonous creak broke the silence as the grand double doors swung open, like bones being bent to the point of breaking. And then, where there was only the howl of the wind and the moans of the door, sound from inside flooded out to wash over the group. Laughter and music and the sounds of low-heeled shoes on marbled floors. The sight revealed soon after matched, with two and one score visitors in the grand hall, just past the foyer.</p>

<p>[[I am aware of the Immsmore thread, so each of you can respond there with your intended location. The next part might be slower in the coming, but hopefully I can get it out quickly enough.</p>
<p>As a piece of advice, some activities take longer than others. The scavenger hunt and the hedge maze will consume all of your time before dinner, but may prove more rewarding.]]
/instant thoughts of HP's maze ahah
The anon said the maze and scavenger hunt take all of your time (for the moment), so I presume that 1) we obviously can't do anything else if we do one of those and 2) anyone who picks chatting with the guests and visiting the gallery can probably do both of those things before dinner. I'm not too sure we can pick two things though xD
While the hunt/maze might be more rewarding as individual tasks, I'm slightly concerned we might miss out on relevant clues for the group work if nobody stays and investigates the house and/or attempts to get some information off those people õ_o
Looks like we have at least a few people doing the maze and scavenger hunt so far but if nobody stays on the house then I guess I'm going to cross out that option since we shouldn't be anywhere alone ^_^;
SORRY ANON will post again soon when more people have decided ;o; if there are too many people doing a thing then I'm probably going to do something else, provided I'm not alone, aha
[edit]
Ah! Thank you for the clarification xD Now to see if everyone else will be going with the maze/scavenger hunt...
What a lovely outfit you chose for tonight! I think we should go together. Where would you like to go? It all sounds fun to me. I'll follow you!
Shall we go and join the group for the scavenger hunt?
