I totally posted about this and accidentally posted in the Jeremiah Frost plot thread facepalm Not sure how I managed to do that.
Same for me. I had both page open x___x
I'm sorry to the maker of the plot c:
I have a feeling this masquerade is will be rather unusual. (To say the least)
Hmm... this is getting more and more suspicious.
I'm not sure if everyone followed the plot last year or remembers it I know I didn't remember too many details so I went find it XD
The Foreign Voice at Immsmore (not the actual name
maybe include the link to last year's story part on the OP, just in case...? ^-^;
The Foreign Voice at Immsmore (not the actual name
i am excited to see what is gonna happen :P LMAO i know i am odd so i should fit right in with the townspeople
I almost fainted when I got it yesterday, wow! It was kinda late for me xD But I hope I'm doing this right now... I assume it's us, who got invited in the carriages? xD (if not, feel free to kick me, Dear Anon :) )
SPOILER (click to toggle)

As the sun retreated to the western sky, the townsfolk hastened to complete their daily tasks. Even the children did not delight in the snow, but rather turned to the sky with a look of despair. The carts in the market place were quickly folded up and tucked to the side, and all of the shopkeepers finalized what business they had. Soon, there was a rush of movement as everyone made straight for their homes.

Before the last ray of sun, the citizens shut up their doors and windows tight, fretful of the darkness that came with the night.

Soon it was difficult to tell if anyone was living in the town at all. Virgin snow dusted the cobblestone streets, and not a sound could be heard. Save for the smoke rising from the chimneys and the smell of tomorrow&;s bread, Immsmore seemed abandoned.

And then, the sacred silence was disrupted, though not all at once. At first, it was too faint to hear; the sound of snow crunching under the clip-clop of a covered, horse drawn carriage. But the noise built like a crescendo in a symphony, with many more carriages rolling over the horizon.

The townspeople dared not react to the intrusion, for fear what would come if they gazed upon the street, or worse, left the confines of their homes. Indeed, they remained tightly shuttered, save for one wayward glance from the window of the Blacksmith. His gaze did not linger overlong, and his expression proved inscrutable; stoic, save for the look of reluctant resignation.

It was not long before the carriages rounded the serpentine path up the hill to the Immsmore Castle. The castle loomed over the humble town, disproportionately grandiose with gothic towers of darkest stone that seemed to stab at the sky. Stranger still was its immaculate veneer, as if unnaturally well maintained... or perhaps only recently erected.

At long last the multitude of carriages came to a stop, granting the visitors a moment&;s pause to adjust their costumes before they entered the Masquerade.
Szarwas stared at her reflection in the glass window of the carriege. She wasn't really satisfied but for now that was the best she could do. The invitation came so sudden she had no time to think it through. Or... yes she had time, only to decide to come or not. She smiled sheepishly and turned away, staring at the Castle. That's... pretty amazing... not sure I've ever seen such a big castle. She looked around, but couldn't spot Idaho. She got nervous Shall I wait for her here or maybe go inside? Maybe wait a little and see what happens. She looked out to the town and wandered why it seemed so... weird
I imagine us riding in the carriages, too. So I think we should change in a beautiful ball gown and spotting a mask? Or perhaps wait for the theme of the ball, only generally as mask ball or a themed masquerade, for example? And the old pocket watch, was it only added so we know we should be there in time or is the age of the clock another hint in the plot? Does it say that the masquerade is very old, going to happen every year (when you look at the behavior of the town folk, it seems like this is going on for generations), and if so, are the guest (so, we!) :-) are that old, too? Ghosts, vampires, magic entities? I am really excited! <3

Linna was riding the carriage with her friend, She peeked curiously through the carriage window, and the empty town made her wonder what was that invitation about. She heard the stories before, about a little town that feared winter most than everything. But this was new for her, being invited so soon... but her curiosity needed to be sated. "What do you think of this town, Tales?"

Why , it seems odd to me that everyone should go to bed so early. I see no fields to harvest or cows to milked in the morning. There's just forest beyond the houses. If it were Christmas tonight, Santa could make this his first stop, they've gone to bed so early! (giggle)
I'm all masqueraded up, just in case. 8I

I'm late because of finals but I'm going to dress up right now! :D
Linna smiled at Tales point of view. "True!" she said. "but I can feel something wicked in the air... maybe it's just my imagination." Linna wondered if she should tell what she knew to her friend, afraid she would only make her concerned over nothing.

Oh my dear , how could there be anything wicked around on such a beautiful evening? The snow makes everything so pretty! Maybe the wicked thing your thinking of, is that it will snow to much, and we'll have to party all night long. Such a terrible fate!(tee hee hee)
I'm sad that RL has been killing me and I haven't been able to dress up, but I hope to do it tomorrow!
following the story with interest in the meanwhile :D
"Hahaha! im glad I brought you along, dear Tales! Let's see what kinds of fun awaits!" Linna remained curious all the way to the castle.

Colour me intrigued! I remember Immsmore from last year's Luminaire. Health and nature (there is a typhoon in my country) allowing, I'd love to participate in this. Failing that, I will just watch from a distance -- I take pleasure in observation, in either case.
I heard you like Masquerade...
[/font]why is there always a typhoon in your country D: wtf typhoons, go hit somewhere else for a change! x-x
ALSO yeah! I got a message with this, it technically wasn't an invite, I'm convinced whoever broke the seal STOLE THE ACTUAL INVITE 8D but it's ok the envelope was still very pretty I'm counting on them not checking invites by the door, LOL
We're now following the carriages to the castle where the ball is, I totally expect us to get locked inside the castle or something and then THEY WILL BE COMING. Because they were coming last year THEY JUST HAD A SHORT DELAY. xD
Just got an update!
I received an and
