So anyway: I think we are at a place where purchasing works correctly, you can set the number of items (and price of items) correctly, and move items in without a problem.
I'm going to reopen the ability for users to purchase items so that we can see that it all works from our end. I'm going to announce the new method of purchasing CWs tomorrow in the news, until then I'm going to be looking for a way to get the inactive / frozen user items back into shops for those users.

It would be great if somewhere there was a dropdown so we could see a list of the shops we follow maybe? Possibly under the Commerce tab at the top - a central hub where we browse all the shops or see the ones we follow etc etc (like for Forum Groups).
I'm SO EXCITED about the shops!! Thank you so much for this!!! Also what said. I would love to see a central hub where I could see everyone's shops. I want all the things!
Yeah I just think that has the potential to get unwieldy really really fast - the old CS page got out of control and no one wanted to look at it because you had 9,000 options.
I'll keep trying to think of a way to do it, though :)

How do players buy more of their CWs now that that option's been taken out of the CS? I don't know how to even find my shop. I don't want any of my CWs in my shop, but I would like to know how I can buy more of my own CWs, please :)

So I only read the first and last pages (it's late) but what I gathered is there is hope for adding items from inactive users? I'd really hate to have missed out on all the dungeon boots by which were meant to be a permanent stay in the CS I believe.
So this may have already been answered, but I don't really want to read through nine pages so I'm just gonna ask!
Where will the shop show up? Will it be on our profile somewhere? Like where my shops and galleries are, will there be a new icon for my CW shop? If so great. If not, please add that in. Having a shop front that people can't actually get to easily is not really helping anyone.
I would like there to be a central hub of sorts that shows everyone who has a shop. It doesn't have to show items or anything, or maybe just the newest one they've added, but it would be great to be able to just browse shops I might not have seen before. If I have to go to my wardrobe and browse the CWs to see which ones have a store front purchase option, that would be tedious and I would likely not do it.
I do think the layout for the shop maintenance could be tweaked a bit more, but I don't have anything to offer in what I think it needs. It just doesn't look quite finished to me. The gold ball for CSC looks weird on the page and if you have to hover over it to begin with to find out what it means, why not just write "600 CSC/Cash Shop Credit" instead?
I also wish the images were actual item tags or whatever so you could hover over them. I don't have this issue since I only have a handful of items, but I can imagine people with 100+ that keeping all the items straight might be a bit harder.
Overall though I'm kinda looking forward to see how this all ends up working!

Just a random thought, but going on the line of "finding shops I wouldn't have seen before" I think it'd be really neat to have a "go to random shop" button. Idk. I know I've always wanted one for the user shops, but it seems to make a lot more sense for these shops.
The way to get to your shop is linked multiple times on the front page of this thread, as well as in the page that lists all of your custom wearables / the options that you have.
If you'd like to just buy one of your item from yourself, you can add it to your shop (via the links in the first page of this thread) and set a password that only you know.

So in other words I could put something in there but could buy just singles at a time instead of having to worry about sets of 10?

hi! I just moved an item in my shop, at -1
However, whenever someone buys it, it transforms to -2 and thus gets removed from the shop!
Also, the next to it does not appear. It still shows as 0 even though a couple people bought the dress already (:
(by the way I LOVE THIS IDEA. THANK YOU!)
It would be awesome if we could eventually submit the item in the cash shop directly (w/ first batch being filled by 10 people of course). It kind of defeats the purpose of following a shop if we need to manually ping users to fill the first batch D:
I made two categories in my shop but for some reason I can't view the item I have in one of them...
The category is Jet - Personal CW. I can't click on it and when I try to open it by right clicking and opening in a new tab, all I get is the tiny little loading circle. It's been properly priced and categorized.

EDIT **oops, nevermind I just saw first post, but then that sentence sounds a bit...strange?
it has a 3 months deadline though - is this something that could be changed eventually (as in, unlimited without time constraint?)
Also, if I submit directly to the cash shop, would it be possible to set a number of batches to it? Say that when it is approved, it is moved in the cash shop, but not available for purchase until I can set an amount (either unlimited or limited to 2 batches)?
It would be kind of unfair if the item went directly to the cash shop and available for purchase to whoever is lucky to catch the item on time, before the owner could set a limit
(do I even make sense ;; )
This discussion came up on the Feedback thread, but I'm going to post it here again since most suggestions regarding the system are being kept here. For the sake of having them all in one place and such!
About shop alerts and privates
Yeah, I'd much rather the alert only comes out when people price their items and place them in a non-password protected area. I personally never thought of this system as a place to deal privates on, but either way (even if the person intended the item to be public) I have no use for alerts that tell me an item has been added but isn't ready for purchase for me x: And then if people are dealing privates, maybe there can be a shop option to disable the availability alert as a whole (thus only sending password alerts to the chosen people).
So "(name) has put the item (name) in their custom wearable shop!"
would turn into
"(name) has made the item (name) available in their custom wearable shop!" (it doesn't need to tell me the price nor the shop section or anything else really)
spoiler=about items that belong to inactive users, or generally unclaimed old CS items if there was a way to create some sort of "mix" limbo staff shop for all those items, it would probably be the best option. I get items can't be there (like they couldn't be on the CS) AND on someone's shop at the same time, but maybe the users could ticket staff to have it manually removed from there (so they could be added to their personal shops)? I mean, sure it's extra work for the admins, but I don't think we have so many CW makers who had things there on the first place... especially when we take off those who already moved to the new system.
And then if those people never want to deal with having their own, new system shop, they can just leave it on that staff shop forever.
Maybe we could have a few days for people to make their shops, THEN staff makes a staff shop with everything that hasn't been pulled from the old CS pool, and THEN if those users ever want to make their own shops they can ticket staff. In my mind it kinda works...
For clarity, staff shop would run on the new system. Doesn't need to be on any staffer name, just a general site-run shop (that wouldn't get any new items, too), but the admins would need to have a way to pull the item out of there.[/spoiler]
Because it took me a while to figure out everything of mine that was in the CS, I'd also appreciate if there was some sort of notification in case I had forgot to "reclaim" anything of mine that was there... although this isn't as necessary.
-not Keith but always nosy- xD -pokes -
"Straight to CS" is now "straight to your personal shop" and Keith said he lifted the (90 day) time limit! I AM SO HAPPY ABOUT THAT. (Look, Violins tights dont have the 90 day on them anymore, for example!) XD
However, I'm not sure about staff's thoughts on letting us set a limited amount of copies on direct-to-cs releases (I'd guess it's possible but the site might not want us to sell less than say, 10 copies on each? so they can recover staff costs). Same goes for manual retirement of said items, I'm not sure it's possible now but I'd guess it could be (if it could be coded), maybe with a minimum availability time (90 days?), idk x: I don't have any direct to cs releases to test it :c
Love the CW shops, now users don't miss out if a batch is having trouble filling. c: I may end up making more batches now too. XD
Though I have a question. Will it be possible to eventually gather interest to fill first batches on our shops, or fill it directly there? I think it was talked about in the make pinging easier thread but I'm not sure how it turned out. The way I see it, lots of users (me included) depend on board shops (and consequently ping groups) to fill the first batch so that we can submit the item to the site, if we have to keep doing so it kinda defeats the idea of reducing the groups no? XD
Just a question but is there perhaps some sort of save button or something to click when editing the text that appears in categories?
It keeps reverting back to the default text no matter what I put in, so I think i'm missing something?
Yay our own CW shop!!
How often are we allowed to update the prices? Can the prices be updated whenever? And how long does it take for the user to see the change?
Seems like the system is encouraging marking up the price by 100+ than the base....
