Not sure if it turned out to be a thing or not ( I read everything but can't recall anymore), I wanted to submit only 10 copies of a two batched item but it doesn't let me edit the quantity and will only let me pull all 20 copies. However at first ( ie one day ago) I was able to edit quantity in other CWs. :c
Sorry if it's dumb.
One question, and I apologize if it's been answered: how long will my "unlimited" item remain available in my shop? It was only set to be available in the CS for a limited amount of time, so does the same time limit apply here?
EDIT: okay, I gather there's no time limit. Does this mean we can retire and rerelease at will, orrr...?
Mischievous Diadem available in my CW shop!
Can we have some sort of shop history, like the shop log for normal shops (minus the buyer's name, if that's supposed to be confidential)? For the unlimited items, it doesn't seem to keep track of how many are sold.
And for items that were in the cash shop before, the number sold includes the numbers sold in the old system, which is fine, but then I don't remember how many I sold in the new shop.
Otherwise, I'm loving this shop system!

Because you can't take the items out of the shop after you've put them in, it makes you have your entire last "batches" in there. So if you had two batches remaining, it requires that you sell 20 items. You can set the price to 0 and it won't show up in your shop, though :).
[edit]
I'm making my way through this thread yet - I'm going to answer all of the questions from overnight!

Yeah, things aren't quite right in showing prices or amounts sold. One item shows it's sold several, when another I know has sold more than 2 (I've seen the pings) still says only two have sold. Then again, it says there are 18 left out of 20, but only one has sold. The counting and tracking is still a bit messed up for sure.
I'm wondering, if an item reaches 0 that has a fixed number of batches, does it get removed from teh shop automatically, or will it just sit there at 0 and never be able to be removed? It would be nice if you could code it to be removed and just have it be like other items that when you fill all batches, that's it. So items we remove from the shop can just have a similar thing on the item in our lists that says 'you've already made all available batches for this item' but something like 'you've already sold and removed this from your shop and it is now retired' or something to that effect. A 'retire' button in general to shut off any of our things would be nice- plus there's no going back from that too.
just a head's up, it's kind of clunky and backwards to get to the CW submission page now! maybe add a link somewhere to get there? i had to go to my own CW shop, go to manage items, go to my item lists, then go to custom wearable home.
Yeah, I'd very much like to get the link to the custom wearables home / submission page back, as well as the other ones that were there (/custom_clothing.php?act=payments ; /custom_clothing.php?act=items ; and the one that takes you to your pending, newly submitted items).
I'm reaching out for my small pile of events for quick links, as usual ._.
[edit] Your unlimited items will sit there indefinitely / for as long as you wish! You can still manually edit prices to 0 or quantities to 0 (only works if the item is unlimited), what would prevent the item from showing up for purchase. So, basically, if you have a set date for retirement in your mind, there isn't an automated way of doing it but it's easily done by hand c: And you can throw an alert to your followers a few days before retirement if you wish, too.
Oooh, okay, I fully understand it now. Sorry about that, I thought you couldn't remove but coudl edit the amount from the ones given, stupid me OTL
I'm wondering if the Custom Wearables link located under the Cash Shop tab that usually takes you to the submission page is now supposed to lead to here?.
I have the page bookmarked now so I don't have to worry about it but that's a bit inconvenient if that was the main way people accessed the submission page.
, it there anyway we could get a widget of our shop for our profile, kinda like how it appears in the CS? Maybe could use it in the forums too?
Also, as has been mentioned above, it be cool to have a shop log and till similar to how user shops work. I don't like not knowing for sure if I'm getting the correct csc per item, especially when I sometimes delete events on accident. Plus it be cool to know who's buying.
And lastly I'd love to see how many of my items I have sold somewhere on the site either on the main CW page, in the CW shop, or in the item description itself. Currently we can only see how many batches we have left of limited items, and how many have sold in the CW shop/ our CW shops. For example I sold 3 batches of an item and then it sold 55 times in the CW shop so it should say somewhere you've sold 85 copies of this item! I really think it be cool to have all CW's state in their descriptions how many were released and how many are on site.
Sorry for all the random thoughts/suggestions just wanted to compile them here.
would also still really love a permanent retire button
How does one get to their CW shop? There's a link in the first post, but I can't seem to find one onsite. I can always look up a CW on shop search and go that way but that seems awfully convoluted.
The "Custom Wearables" link in the Cash Shop drop down menu currently leads to a 404 error page. I imagine that would be a good place to put it.

Thanks for fixing that :)

There are some problems like the fact i bought something from a user shop and 3 showed up in my inventory taking 800 extra csc from me. I made a ticket but would love t get my csc back..
Why is it set up that we have to click multiple buttons just to get, here, to the CW submission page? Currently we have to now click Custom Wearables, under the "Cash Shop" drop down menu, then click "Manage Shop" then click "your custom items" and then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "custom clothing home" ...seems like a lot of work, just to get to the submission page. Can't there be another link in the "Cash Shop" drop down menu?
This also makes it a lot harder to check our due payments, when the events don't work right.
I have to admit, I think I prefer the original system. It's a lot harder to actually find any shops, unless I manually type in a user's name into the link. This is also new user unfriendly (we can't assume that everyone knows what CWs are when they first join, not to mention who the sellers are). Before they could just go to the cash shop and everything was grouped by layer and would be displayed together--this seems much more organized to me.
I also agree with Clamp about the submission page. Usually when I do CWs I like doing a "test submission," to make sure the overlay works on the submission base. It'd be nice if there was a direct link to the submission page (or I guess I could just make a new bookmark or add the link to the notepad widget xD).

the good news about this is that you can still use the original feature - i dont think that will be phased out any time in the near future at all, and i plan on using both features, in fact. i do think that it is slightly user-unfriendly, but i think it's actually more user-friendly than the forums - when i first got into CWs i was so confused about what function the forums served, etc. if staff can make it so that the "custom wearables" page actually takes us to a mall of sorts i think it would be very user friendly, indeed.
i'm 100% with you and clamp on the submission page thing, though - i bookmarked the submission page, its ridiculous that we cant go there!
I have to agree with this system does seem like it would be harder for most newbies to use. Hell it's harder for me to use, and I've almost been in the CW system since it began.
The whole layout is confusing as hell. While we do have the "Custom Wearable Feed" that option is just poorly implemented, it shows random user shops so you have to constantly refresh. This is both annoying and tiring. Plus if there's a bunch of shops you want to join you can't just click join on that page you have to go into their shop and join THEN go back out and then all the shops have changed randomly again! I do not like this at all.
I think there should be a search feature for users in that "Custom Wearable Feed" section AND I think there should be pages for all users with search options like "shops you have followed," "shops you haven't followed," and "all shops."
I also think when our shop sells an item we should get an event in a different category like "Sold CWs" or something. Because right now I'm getting a ton of events under the new shop event category and I'll be honest I miss sold cw events, and that's really very annoying.
I'd also really like for this bar to have the bolded feature as well. Where it bolds the category we're on when we click it.
