i have a question for you. If i where to submit a item to be put directly into the cash shop before the change it would be unlimited for 90 days.. what is the batch# time limit to now submit it directly to our cw shops ? Will it be unlimited without a timelimit or is there still a timelimit on those items ?
there is no time or batch limit anymore :) however you can always discontinue it yourself by setting the number to 0.
oohhhhh i might have to do that with a few pieces... thank you for answering that for me :)
I really love the cw shops so far,but when i was browsing one shop, I found a wig that cathii made. i love her wigs, and i thought, i wish subeta could implement hashtagging, so that way if you want to find all of a certain artists items without having to search shops one by one, be nice if there was a cw search bar, and if the seller has tagged an item under the artist, then u could search for their name and all the items they made would come up, along with the shop of course..
I just think if we had a better search engine and a hash tag system, it would be easier to find these things.
I'm noticing that there have been some items popping up in user shops that people were told would be retired after a certain amount of batches were released and those batches were released a long time ago,Is this something that should be happening? I was just wondering if that was still considered against the rules or if it changed somehow because of these shops being implemented.
This came up a few pages back so going to quote what Jessi said. :)
Thank you for helping me out with that,I am curious though,If a person stated that it would retire for good after 3 batches then let's say they change that part of their thread and quite a bit of time goes by but people still remember it was supposed to be limited then how can we prove it? There is literally nothing there for staff to go on so it kind of seems to me like they would get away with being able to keep that item in their shop even though it was definitely supposed to be a limited thing.
You mean the people that constantly change their front page and don't make new posts in thread like a lot of peeps? I don't know. That is a really good question. I'm curious to know the answer to this as well, although I think if enough people complained about it the proof would be in that pudding, but yeah curious to see staff answer to this.
Yes,Those people that just keep everything in one giant block on the first post then eventually erase it when it becomes too cluttered and then they never kept a list of their items on a pet page or anything either so trying to use something like that for proof wouldn't work. It just irritates me because I feel like there should be something to prevent this from happening and what is worse is people have been buying the items I have seen but since there is no log right now of where people's item's are going it makes it hard if staff needed to correct it and give refunds or something if a cw shop owner were proved to be scamming.
I think it's all been the honesty system up till now and it just sucks that not everyone is as honest as we would hope they would be. :( It is irritating and highly unfair to the rest of us. I'm sure there is a log behind the scenes of where the items went to. I would file a ticket just in case.
I would file a ticket if you're that upset about it... But you're really nitpicking at people it seems. If you have PROOF that these people released the max amount of batches and now it's in their shop, report it. But it seems to me after all the complaints I got from you about my personal private with NO limit that you're really just trying to cause a problem. I don't feel comfortable selling to you anymore at all after reading all this....
For what it's worth, I believe there is a record of who the items are going to - we don't see it, but it certainly exists! However, from the point of view of someone who has seen a couple of these tickets go around, I can't ever recall staff doing a rollback and taking the item from people who purchased them in good faith. Plus, by the time said scamming might get proven, who's to say they didn't resell their items...?
I could be wrong, but now that I think about it, I don't believe CWs were ever taken / refunds were ever issued, on any situation ever.
I have heard that staff can't track post edits too well, however this was back on the old forums system. I'm unaware of how the new forums work in regards to this, maybe there was some improvement... if you're talking about edits that happened on the old forums, though, we've lost so much information on the transition that I wouldn't have big hopes about it, unfortunately.
You may start taking screenies of item release information in case you ever feel cheated, however screenies must be taken cautiously (by staff) as they could potentially be faked too.
[edit] Like said, if you have an specific situation in mind, it's probably better to ticket staff and see if they can pull any information on that case. (I'm sure they'll try their best)
I'm sorry love but you really shouldn't be talking badly about people who release cws when you've caused a lot of trouble yourself. You were banned from my shop for a while because of all the drama. You claim a slot after slot and then never pay. When I ask you about it it's excuse after excuse for weeks until you finally end up trading wl items instead of the Csc you owed.... I'm not the only one who had this problem with you either... Until you learn to treat artists and people who release items with respect instead of screwing us over and then getting upset with us you shouldn't be talking bad about anyone.
You paid more than slot price on my private because you weren't in my ping group nor were you a friend after all the trouble and unpaid slots you left me with constantly. At one point I may have considered inviting you but when you started screwing me over constantly that completely changed. I was linked to these posts of yours by a friend and while I can understand why you'd be upset, MANY people were upset with you too so you're really not one who should be complaining since I know you've been banned from more than just my shop in the past
You know what would be really nice? A search feature to find a user's shop.
If you have a personal issue with me then my comments and smail are always open,This had NOTHING to do with you in any way. I own one of the items in question and I know for a fact that it was supposed to be limited because I got chewed out by them for confronting them when they tried to sell more on other occasions after the batches reached their limit. I was seeking advice from staff because I want to know how this could possibly be dealt with in the future,It's hard to prove when people erase their tracks and I doubt staff is going to sit and look through logs for 20 hours just to attempt to prove that a cw from MONTHS ago was released to it's full capacity. I'm sorry you feel the way that you do but this is not the place for it,I don't know what "friend" linked you here but I certainly don't have interest in associating with that type of person nor do I have any further interest in continuing this with you on here.
- Staff knows when item limits change even when edited out. I did that on one occasion (changed my mind about a batch number because so many people asked about it) and I got warned for it. And the warning came like months after I took slots on it so I had to go back to what my original limit was and let the others know that there would be no other batches made. It was a humbug so now I just keep it to one batch and be done with it.
Not sure if this has already been asked, but when managing your shop, where you can set prices and limits, under price there is a box where you enter the price you are going to set and under that it says minimum 600csc. This is for an item that if I took slots would cost me 5000 for 10 slots. Why does it say 600csc minimum? Sorry, slightly confused by that. Thanks
maybe im butchering this up but if you pay 5000 for 10 slots. thats 500 a piece. I think its 600 min so you can at least earn profit but then again, it depends what kind of wearable it is..since they changed the submission cost for each type of wearable. if i am wrong, im wondering that too..
~ If that is the case, then maybe they should put 500csc minimum instead? so we know what the base price is for that particular item?? Then we can decide from that how much more we want to charge. I think that would make more sense, or am I wrong? I'm just confused about this, trying to figure it out. I think it would be a good idea to set the minimum for each piece as if it were going through the old way. Like if it cost say 4000csc to put through a batch of 10, they should have the minimum be 400csc. idk. I have so many pieces that are priced in the old system before they did price changes which I'm sad about. I have not commissioned much with the new pricing.
