Inferno (Dario Argento), Born in Flames (Lizzie Borden), Cleopatra (Osamu Tezuka), A Lizard in a Woman's Skin (Lucio Fulci)

-Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron is an animated movie that I LOVE and I wish more people knew about. it combines 3d and 2d animation and it's just SO good! -I feel like more people would know about this one but Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole was a beautifully made movie. It is a movie that combines 3 books in one and I know people feel like a lot is missed when that happens, but I still liked it regardless. Definitely recommend the books too. -Also just because I ADORE the Professor Layton series as a whole I'm gonna also put Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva on here. You kinda have to play the games to understand it though.
White Oleander, it's one of those movies that just leaves you thinking. I love it.

I enjoyed A Serbian Film- supremely messed up but very good Also Motel Hell- One of those cult films from the 80's that just always stuck with me And quite the dire opposite, but A Little Princess- Sweet little thing that makes me cry

I'm sure someone out there as seen these movies as well but generally I don't think they're very popular and I really love them:
Sekai Meisaku Dōwa Hakuchō no Mizūmi - A 1981 anime version of Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake.
Rock & Rule - Animated movie with songs by Debbie Harry, Cheap Trick and Lou Reed.
Animal Farm - Adaptation of George Orwell's book. Older folks might know this one.
The Last Unicorn and Song of the Sea - Visually stunning and heartbreaking.
The Party and The Birdcage (w/ Robin Williams) - I don't like comedies but these two are the exception.
Conan the Barbarian and Labyrinth - Two childhood favorites that other people might know about due to Schwarzenegger and Bowie, respectively.
Yeah, it's one of the most underrated animated movies imo. I just don't get it. I was so happy when I finally found it on dvd in my own language (Dutch) last year. I'd been searching for ages because it was only sold for a short time. XD
Clue (1985) Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead (1990)
'american beauty'. it's a prime example of screenwriting done right, and i'm absolutely in love with it.
