Yeah, they needed a nice chunk of happiness before things got started again. I figured nine was a good number as it was both the time it took Jash to figure out how to travel to Earth AND is important in Norse mythology.

And as for how Alex manages to shoot horses in the head: I found it a funny way to show that he isn't good at archery. I never tried to figure out all the details.

We had 3 chipmunks in the front walk way this morning eating the peanuts i put out. They are so tiny and so cute it is amazing.
