So I am in two dance groups and I got slightly overwhelmed. Just caught up. Going on vacation to the coast this week, Thursday? Or something. Organizing things today. Had counseling. Zoo with dmystry and her family was fun, but I had two panic attacks from enclosed noise. Had a talk to my mom about it that if I bolt on the trip that’s why. I go to a quieter area and chill then am ok.

Hey All...... is anyone else having problems when they accept the dances on Kumos? I tried to do the accept all... and I have a duel challenger who wont go away. Then I decided to duel him to see if that would help. I won and lost and he now says I gotta wait. Well in the meantime I am still trying to accept my dances and it wont let me. So I ended up cancelling them on the legacy site. So I dont think I am getting the trinkets and stuff from them because of this..... Anyone know what I can do for next time?

I never went on Kumos and now that I am going on it Im having such a hard time adjusting. :-( I guess old bird likes the old ways LoL Anyways.... Im trying to use it more so I can get use to it. But when stuff like this happens I never know if its just how the site is working or if its a glitch. Im so not use to Kumos. I like Legacy so much better and I am on here all the time. I dunno, I will be sad if when it fully goes to kumos that I cant handle it and it basically stops me from playing. Im trying to get use to it more now that there r a few more things to do on it. Im really trying.....

Anyways..... Another HOT HOT HOT one here in PA today. Im so over this heatwave. I can barely go out on my inside porch to smoke. The heat is so intense. Then my daughter was having trouble last night because when she would play on her computer the power would go out in the living room. Im still not sure why. Usually I need to have 2 big items going for that to happen. Like the A/C and the Vacuum plus all the other stuff like tv computers etc. But the last few days its been going out with very little on. Ex.. TV, 2 computers and A/C??? It never went out with just those few things on, Sadly we live in a house where the landlord really did a number on the electrical. Basically the whole downstairs is on 1 breaker, so it blows if we go over cause its not meant to handle so much. It hasnt been re-wired since the olden days when people didnt have many electrical things!! Stupid landlord jerk! Anyways... I sure hope I can figure out a better way for her to play on her computer, cause she is gonna b pissed if she cant. She is a real gamer (not Kimmie442, this is my other daughter Katie) Both Katie and Brad play games constantly and I dont mind her playing cause she works hard. Im good with having an outlet cause she works all the time. But my son on the other hand... doesnt work much at all and plays all the time. But thats a story for another day. Ugh.... Ok well im off to play while I can. Cause my head seems to be going in a million different directions and my 1 dog is sitting here crying at me which makes me frustrated and I keep having to fix my typing errors cause I cant handle listening to her whine constantly...... sighs pulls hair out of head

1. Do you prefer to be called by your username or another name? Have you had any other usernames prior to this one? My username is my real name so Aimee is perfectly fine :) Prior to this username I was avbljf but that was just a mumbo jumbo and changing it to my name made more sense.

2. What are your interests on Subeta? (Human Avatars/Pets/Battle/Restocking etc.) I've been a member forever, 20+ years, at this point I just check in from time to time. At least a couple times a week. I don't really do anything routinely anymore besides autotrain one of my pets. I will battle during events but that's about it. I do try to keep my Darkmatter gallery up to snuff.

3. How often do you play on site and will you be active within the group? A couple times a week I'd say. I'll be as active as I can.

4. Why are you interested in joining Kindred Spirits? Are you currently in any other groups? Looks like a nice group of adults who are active on the site. I think i'm in some other groups but none of them are active.

5. Tell us a bit about you! (This doesn't have to be lengthy or detailed you can save that for your introduction in the group! Think of this as an ice breaker question.) HAHA well this will be ironic... I actually hate ice breaker questions. I'm not an introvert by any means, but I hate being put on the spot to come up with an answer to ice breakers. Since this isn't really a true ice breaker, I'll just say i'm 42 years old, been on subeta since I was in my young 20's. I started off on Neo but no longer play there. I live in South Carolina, fairly close (6 miles) from the beach. I hope you'll accept my request to join your group :)

And, now for my rant. I have no way of posting this in the robot dance forum to let them know of my problem so I'll say it here: There is TOO much information on one page. They really need to pair it down to the most important elements and give links or other ways to access the rest of the info if someone actually wants to see it.

I actually caught a glimpse of the chat this afternoon but couldn't get to the text box to reply to anything. I actually lost it in the middle of all that info the page presents.

Plus, what's going on with accepting dances? I had to dig down for a legacy dance invite and click that to get it to jump around a duel invite and let me accept all the dances I'd accrued since last night. Hmmmph. I'm going to find a way to let them know of my issues because if the site continues down this road I won't be able to play. It will cut me off from the forum and that is the main reason I even come here anymore, it's you gals. I really don't want to lose you gals. sighs /rant.

On one hand I like the option to accept all dances at once. Especially when you have a lot to accept. But I swear that dude is dueling with me nearly every time now.

We were warned power might go out at our house today. Luckily only the Wifi went down for a few hours. I was drawn out of bed by the promise of getting some coffee at a local coffee place and felt too energized to go back to sleep. But now I am tired XD

I've finished work on the cover for part 2 of my fic trilogy. I swear I have become mad working on it. At first it was fine but then...then things changed. I chose an option to remove the background from one pic (after cropping it) and then the program decided ONE SINGLE WHITE SPOT was to be a black hole where nothing could happen. So I had to open that picture on Paint and use the pen tool to fill it in.

Then for Alex Casey I decided to choose from screenshots I had taken. Found a great pic but HE HAD NO PUPILS IN IT. So I had to choose another pic and chose one from the version you encounter in the Dark Place. So he was shaded green and for so long I didn't know how to give him normal skin. So I gave up and figured that would just work. Then right before bed I figured it out.

I am broken XD

- Yeah, the dueling was annoying. I just dueled him (and lost :'( ) and went on my way. It seems this robot dancing system has a lot of kinks to work out. I really wish he'd worked on it more before releasing it. Ugh. :/ You're not borken, my dear. You're just exhausted and need a good bit of sleep. You'll be fine. Hugs :D

I just click the link to dance again. I am still learning too. If you lose to duel dude there is a 15 minute cool down but if you use a legacy site link you can still dance. Added you to the active user dance link thread thing.

I am dancing all methods with lots of breaks.

There's no skill to the duels, just chance. If there was a little bit of skill needed, it would be interesting. For now it's just click a weapon and pray to Hircine that it's the correct choice.

You misquoted Friedrich Nietzsche! lol I like your version. The dueling is always the same for me. 1st the rapier, then the broad sword, then the daggers, then the rapier again. I think that's the right order. I know when I do it. The auto thing is not working right for me. I get pings that I can dance, but when I go to say yes, either it tells me I have not been asked to dance or it only shows two and I had five... Idk.

It finally rained in Stardew Valley so the wedding with Maru will be next in game day. On my beach farm I'm trying to get the portraits of each marriage candidate. And you can only get a person's portrait after you married them.

glad i am not the only one. Seems to work for me now.. Doing the robot dance to. Haven't been on for a day due work and so many events.. drove me nuts

I've been skipping dueling. Not sure if he is actually giving the prize yet, he wasn't in the beginning, and I don't care for the 15 minute penalty when you lose. If I accept dances and he shows up I just hit the back button and accept any dances I have left. I definitely am already getting enough tokens from the dance parties anyway.

I hope you can get someone to listen to you about the issues you have being visually impaired. If at all possible it should be taken into consideration as he builds the new version of subeta. ❤️

Thanx for the advice about the duel guy, However I do just click the dance button again and it says i have to wait 15 minutes OR it is him there blocking me with a duel, and when I duel him its the wait time. I barely get it where he isnt there at all.....

I love ur HA, its awesome!!! I just had to search up most of the items u have on. I was surprised it wasnt all CW items. Ive never seen those blue fire items before. :-)

Waves How are you? I've beaten the duel guy (can't remember his name) but Idk if I ever got a prize this year or last. Thanks! I love making HA's. We've got that kind of heat now until sometime in October. At least we hope for October. Sometimes we get a nice cold snap and hope it will last, but it doesn't. Sometimes we at least get it cooled down to the 70's. There has been many times where we are still in short sleeves at Christmas. I hate that.

Oh my! Where r u again? We get all different weather here in Pennsylvania in Oct. My birthday is on Halloween and Ive been hot & sweaty, and Ive been bundled up cause its snowing. Lately ya never know what ur gonna get in October LoL My kids would be sweating in their costumes and dying of the heat 1 year and then freezing another and jumping back in the car for the heated seats while TOT-ing lol Thankfully no more TOT-ing except on here ( I like it on here much better)
