The type that moves directly from his mother's care to his girlfriend/boyfriend/spouse's care because they can't do anything for themself. You are much better without him. They will care in the fact that they want to help you get better but the issues themselves won't bother them. 2. This may sound a little harsh and I apologize for that up front but, your parents are letting you live with them rent-free? The only thing they ask of you are that you do some chores? I'd say that's a fair trade. Now, I read that you're taking care of your sister, doing all (everyone's) laundry, AND cooking for everyone on top of your school work and work-work? You need to sit down with your parents and talk to them about a more reasonable division of the housework. You shouldn't have to do all that for people who are perfectly capable of doing it themselves. I'mn not being a hypocrit here, I have a 21 year old son who is not a man-baby. He knows how to do laundry and cook dinner. BUUT, he lives with us and performs personal assistant duties for me when I can't do things (which is a lot of the time. XD ) So, I'm not talking out of my rear. I also have 4 other children who are completely grown and living on their own. Only one is my troubled child and he's currently doing very well. Also, he's not a man-baby. :P 😆

All so true, and I've been through that as well. It was over a decade before all my meds worked as well as worked together. Thought I was never going to stop shuffling and trying different ones and changing doses... Ugh a nightmare! But finally worth it and have added new ones and dropped some, through the intervening years, but nothing like before. :)

Yeah, I'm having a terrible time trying to dance with people - I'd dance with the pets if it would be better and they wanted to - lag lag lag. Sigh Oh, if anyone needs the tokens please let me know. I have loads. :)

When I was younger, I had to do everyone's laundry in the house. Since I have moved back with my parents, I have not touched anyone's laundry but mine unless I need to move it from the washer to the dryer to do mine. I have also been paying my parents rent, however, since I got my car, that has been harder than usual because of having a bigger bill than I'm used to. Still trying to sort out my bills, working into the car payment as well. I also do not mind helping out with making dinner and cleaning. I'm not saying I won't do them, period. I know I have to do them when I am out on my own. Ill have to do all the cleaning and cooking. But the issue with those chores is that I am not the only child in the house who can do them. My brother does not have a job, and he is 26 years old. He is living here rent-free with no obligations. He sits in the Xbox all day long. My sister works night shift, so she is sleeping all day long, which is not a big deal cause she is working to pay for her new car as well. It's mostly my brother, not helping, that's the issue. And when he is asked to help, it turns into a huge argument.

On a happier note, it has officially been a full year since I became a phlebotomist!!!!!!! I can not believe the changes I have made since the start of my phlebotomy career. No more horrid man-baby ex LOL, new car, new friends( Thank you, everyone, for including me in this group. You do not know how much you all have helped me over the last few weeks. THANK YOU!) Hopefully, this next year will be just as great as this past year.

He is most definitely a man-baby LOL. I don't think my parents meant to raise him that way. He has ADHD and honestly is just a horrid man-baby. He can't keep a job to save his life. I honestly think he will be one of those people who live with their parents till they are gone and won't know what to do after they are gone. I for sure would not take him in at all. I already can not stand living with him. Do not get me wrong, I love my brother, but he does not listen or take responsibility for himself. He is honestly the main reason for my suicidal thoughts growing up. The words he would say to me got to me and have been with me ever since. He still calls me inappropriate words all the time. I have told him what those words were doing to my head and how I wanted to harm myself because of those words, and he doesn't care. He still calls me them. With my medication, it has helped to drown those words out, but it is still hard sometimes. Very hard, especially coming from a family member who is supposed to care about you.

I think next time I play the game I might get to watching the move in game. I just finished the last DLC that was both lore heavy (although you have to read between the lines as the Night Springs DLCs aren't part of the main RCU) and a celebration of gaming throughout history. You get to play a text based game near the end which made me feel so old XD

Best part is that DLC stars Shawn Ashmore.

I have ADHD and I sometimes have trouble keeping up with chores. But I put in a lot of effort. Biggest problem is getting laundry done XD

Sadly my kids r now grown and I was caring for my Mother and my Father in Law but unfortunately they both passed away in the last 2 yrs. My life itself has been rocky the last few years but I am doing the best I can to keep things going. I do enjoy talking and I can ramble (if u havent noticed lol)

Sometimes the lag is hardly there and then it'll get bad again. So I'm not sure of when I should be happy about about no lag.

Hopefully the wardrobe and forums keep working. This event has caused the most issues for awhile. I mean, always something broken in the beginning of an event but it's usually fixed in a day.

Well finally subby is working for me. The last few days pages would not load, could not invite people for dances, forums would not load. Drove me nuts and with the warm weather here that is no good.

No worries. I will say that we have a lot of lurkers and a lot of introverts so there are often gaps in chatting. Along with many of us having a lot going on in rl. But generally if you post, someone will eventually reply. It's just not like a chat program where it's real time. There will likely be a some time between posts.

Yeah I understand gaps but I mean some serious gaps in time. Even during this event I think there might be 3 of us who have been talking a little. - Sometimes a facial expression is all one needs to give a way paragraphs of navel gazing and cloud gathering. Think of Geralt and his grunts in The Witcher. I'm talking about the books, not the game or the tv shows. Geralt could convey so much in just one grunt that it would take chapters to explain it if it werre a different character. 😂

- Whatcha been up to? When I haven't been smacking the forum into submission I've been watching "Dirty Jobs" and reading the latest Stormlight Archive book. The book is 55 hours long. I have 1 day 20 hours left on it. XD 😂 How's the new office doing? :D ❤

- Have you ever thought of going on one of those vacations on your own, not going through a travel company? Pick a destination, say Paris, and buy a train ticket, book a hotel room, and just sightsee for a couple of days before buying a train ticket back? I would do that when I was younger and had a lot of fun just being free to do what I wanted. :D How's the new "no night shifts" working out?
