I play the NYT connections game but I never saw it called "clever" before. I'm better at Connections than at Wordle and find it more fun. My 2nd favorite one is Strands.

I just looked and you're right it is only Connections. I think the forum on FB is just called Clever Connections. I've never tried Strands but may need to now. And I'm so bad at Connections and usually just give up. At first Tiles was really fun but I got bored with it.

The trick to Connections is trying to figure out all four categories before guessing any. I do that, then I try to get the highest score by trying to guess which of the four categories is the "purple" one and doing that one first. Once in a while I can get the "reverse rainbow" but usually I can't tell which group is which color.

I do go about it that way but so many of the categories are things I've never even heard of. I keep thinking it's generational and maybe I'm too old. Lol

clean up is going okay, but today someone backed out of a piano sale, which is unfortunate. Thankfully my dad will take it if it doesn’t find a home. I’m back to the residence tomorrow with my son in tow. The count down to get out of there really starts ticking down tomorrow - we’ll have one week if we don’t want to pay another $6000 for the following month. ꩜_꩜ I believe I’ll be back there on Tuesday as well but I’ll visit my stepmom and dad who live in the area as well which should be nice. How has your weekend been?

I did great today! got the wordle in 2 (heh lucky today it happened to be 3/5 letters matching my first guess) and a reverse connection rainbow ! :D

No idea what ours gets but yea we get the ac going once it's to hot to sleep.

Oh you know what, I think we have something like that around here that I've always wanted to go to! But it's like an hour away >_< Oh for sure, you should see how many parents wait in line to get their kids at Jesse's school. Apparently there's a really bad bus driver shortage, at least in my area. But I don't mind doing it since I don't work. Me and Harper just chill and have quiet time while we wait :3

I totally get what you're going through and having pay $6000 for another month would really suck!! I sure hope you can finish in time! My weekend wasn't bad, just hubs and I sick. It's so weird as I feel well one day and the next I feel sick again. Hubs thinks we have a strain of flu. My daughter had it last week but she didn't seem to feel too bad, so that was good.

ugh sorry you're still unwell! Right at the end of February my stepmom got influenza type A and then my dad and I got it too. I didn't have it so bad but my dad and stepmom are still not 100% yet. Perhaps that's what you guys caught? Pretty much anyone I talk to has been sick this month regardless of where they are in the country ;(

How do you figure out what exact virus you had? None of us have been sick for over 10 years and up to date on all vaccines so it baffles me what we have. Taking an Aleve has helped more than anything else. And I'm barely coughing any more so that's good!!

my stepmom’s was bad enough that she went to urgent care, she couldn’t eat or basically do anything for days. They tested her and it was influenza A, which my dad caught from her and then I caught from him >_< I’m glad your cough is fading! My dad’s ended up turning into a sinus infection as well. It’s been a rough month lol. I’m glad meds are helping!! I didn’t take anything when I was sick because I got sick a few days before my grandfather’s funeral so I thought by not medicating I would hopefully get through it quicker. Good to know Aleve in specific as helped you though, mentally bookmarking haha

I'm back to 4 tries for wordle again today. the connections was about like usual, I got yellow (?) first I think and then blue category and then green (or maybe green first and yellow third, I don't remember for sure.)

I'm still at 2 guesses and will attempt more guesses later. When I feel like I should know the word I put off guessing anymore until evening. And then hope for a flash of intelligence. I don't even with Connections today but at some point I always guess a bunch of wrong guesses to get the answer though as I keep thinking it will help me to improve in the long run. Thank you!! for connections today what I started with was finding words that were past tense (I mean past participle, maybe? irregular past?) verbs, which they didn't even cite as the connection but still worked for me somehow!
