I'm currently listening to obnoxious drilling through my apartment walls and reading All's Well by Mona Awad as I wait for a virtual therapy appointment (the drilling will make that fun...)

Yayyyy! I'm so happy for you! New technology isn't always the best but that's good the navigation is good. I got it for free when my car was new but I don't use it often enough to justify paying for it once the trial ran out. I cannot believe I got Wordle again today in 2 tries! I'm totally shocked as I'm not always good at it.

I miss being able to nap when Liz was still in school. I lost track, how old are the kids now?

Hi and welcome! I missed your post until just now. Ugh, I couldn't take take the drilling noise as I'm really noise sensitive. I hope the virtual therapy appointment went OK with the drilling going on. Just jump in anywhere and ping someone. All of the people in our chat are all very sweet nice people and no one will mind. probably accepted you to our chat as she always beats me. 😁

thank you! I'm happy to find a place to chat with others and I'm glad to know everyone's a buncha sweeties and that jumping in is okay! The drilling was obnoxious but got through therapy fine :) My building is very loud in general and I am also very noise (and smell.. and texture..) sensitive but today is on a different level. As I type this a child across the hall is emitting screeches, ha. City living, I suppose.

WOOO!! Can't pick between subscriptions? I was seeing they had a sub for all 3 books and I'm debating getting on that waitlist. I'm going to look up past books for the YA and Adult books to see if they would be something I'd like too.

No I have them all but I can't afford them all so I'm hoping to only have Romantasy before next year starts. I don't want too but money wise I have too. 😢 I have the 2 book combo of adult/romantasy so I am waiting for romantasy only sub. YA I will keep till Dec and my illumicrate afterlight as long I need it for the 10 year anniversary sets, they have only announced 4 of 10 but 5 should today or this week.

I definitely understand. Collecting books is definitely not cheap >_< I’ve had to be pickier with what I buy lately because it adds up so quickly. I ended up signing up for the 3 book waitlist. Not sure if I’ll end up getting it when the time comes but I got time to figure it out.

It sure is and I have noticed more se's in regular books now so not completely worth it anymore. Yea I thought about it.. cause it saves on shipping but rather have just romantasy.. it's my favourite. Plus need more money for Dramione fanfic 😋

Yeah I’ve noticed so many books are doing SE’s now. It’s really overwhelming tbh. I’ve been trying to be a lot pickier now more with which ones I buy.

I also am kinda sick of pre-ordering and not knowing what the art will be like inside.

Every once and awhile I'll get some books from Target when they're doing a good sale but usually I just stick with Bookoutlet or Amazon. I do have one SE I preordered from Barnes & Noble that's sooo pretty though. Bahahaha! I didn't know there were so many of those fanfics out there 😂

I checked out bookoutlet but nothing of interest. My discount at Chapters is about the same as Amazon and it's just easier to return to the store then dealing with Amazon. There are a lot, I want and I also ordered Isolation, teehee 🤪 just waiting to hear back when Secrets and Masks one I want will be available again, lol 😆 I am so screwed.

Almost every apartment I've ever lived in there's been a jerk or jerks!!🙄 And it's even harder when you're sensitive to stuff! I feel for me it's mostly noises but it seems like lately my sense of smell has gotten better. I'm glad textures don't really bother me as I bet that's rough! I've been on the run all day and I'm so tired and I can't wait to get into bed!!!!

My week is going well but I'm ready for it to be the weekend! Today Liz and I went to Costco, Marshalls and Trader Joes today. 🤯 How's the kids? What new things are they learning?

Wow we've know each other a while now as I remember when they were just toddler age. Any snow? I was shocked yesterday when I was going to pick Liz up and halfway to her work there was substantial snow on the ground.
