I use my boosters when I get them, except for like.. ugh. The things you turn in for tomes, I forget what they are. You get them from Quentin?

Those I save until I remember they exist every few months, and then I'll turn them in for tomes (or shards).. but then I just do all the tomes at once, too LOL.

Mage amulets. Yeah, I do the same for them. To me, the tomes are the stat boosters lol

- I thought that only Saggy quests asked for the expensive items. He must have tweaked it recently because my son has a limit of 100-200k on all quest items and he never complained about the prices going up. But, he's been doing Legacy quests since the beginning of the year to get me the new years tokens. I hope Keith changes it back as I can't see many people doing the new quests if the prices are high like that. Or, maybe that's what he wants? XD

You know, I never checked the prices of the books. I just accepted them when they were sent and sold them after if I didn't want them anymore. XD I'm not very frugal. :P

I'm guessing you don't battle much because I've heard that you need a lot of intelligence to battle some of the higher opponents. I just don't know what to do with all these things. My highest pet is tier 9 but I don't battle much at all. It's boring. So maybe I'll sell them. :?

It's mostly just Saggi that's super broken.. The wonder quests are normally fully stocked on legacy, so you just need to look here (mostly!). And Pete and his darned funnel cakes!

If Saggi gave the OLD rewards (before Dec I was getting up to 400-600k sP reward from him) instead of 50-75k sp rewards, I would have a higher limit for Saggis quests. He got tweaked somehow in Dec and is crap right now.

The other quests having expensive items is because a NPC gets stuck on a specific item for some reason (example Pete asks for funnel cake almost EVERY day for me, and apparently for a lot of OTHER users too, so that user price has inflated like crazy, as well as someone else (mauve?) being stuck on Bongo Drums - I get asked for that at least every other day now, if not every day too!) And for some items - Saggi and Maleria or Saggi and Mauve or whatever, 2 or 3 NPCs will ask for the same item, and so the user price inflates. That is what makes the items so expensive for kumos quests. Keith is tweaking it still, supposedly.

I mainly battle with my one pet. They get read all books first, so super intelligent already. More than enough AP for all the scrolls I have attached. Not sure what else intelligence is used for in battling. I don't like to have extended battles - so if I cannot defeat an opponent within a few rounds, I don't fight them LOL I am at the point though, that if I WANT to beat any of the higher opponents, I need to learn strategy and buy specific weapons. Not ready to do that right now. Maybe one day.

When my battle pet was lower tier, I sold all my stat boosters because they were worth more money to me, than gaining the few stats. Now he is taking longer to train, most of my xp comes from battle quests, and so I use stat boosters to try and move him towards tier 13 lol

According to the shoutbox, Saggi is fixed again, to be paying more than 75k again.

Mieke - never thought of using ther shout box for info before. Does it actually work now? Even before the screen reader I could never get it to work right. XD

Kat - that all makes sense with the battle boosters. I'm just going to shove them in my vault and forget about them for another year and see how far my battle pet gets in that time. She's just tier 9 right now so I have time. :)

As for the quests, I hope he fixes it and it stays fixed this time. I like the kumos quests but can't afford 200k+ for items all the time.

[edit] Good Morning all! Saggi was MUCH better today - not a single item asked for was over 70k in usershops, some i got in NPC shops for less than 5k AND my rewards were all over 200k!! :D YAY! My most expensive costing quest total was 100k and I got rewarded 325k. Much nicer. However, then Rumi was a butt. Rumi asked for TWO different stickers from Pete's Quest Shop - luckily they only cost 1 and 2 quest points so I got them, but I really DON'T like spending quest points for quests!! I don't mind spending OTHER currency, which I have much much MUCH more of (steamworks, esthers, etc) but NOT quest shop points!! I still need SO MANY BOOKS from there! In fact - I didn't turn down ANY kumos quests today, I just realized. The only two super high priced items that I WOULD have turned down the quest for, was those two stickers for Rumi, which cost me quest points. Hmm... (One of them was like 3mil and the other was 600k in user shops)

So I read the chapter and the articles, and then go back to read the three questions so I can re-read if needed to write my response. First question "what new ideas .... from the articles" Second question "first article discusses .... " Third question "Second article ...."

Um. ALL three questions are about the articles. NONE mention chapter 3. Why did we have to even read chapter 3 for this assignment ? Not that I minded reading chapter 3....BUT it is not relevant to the assignment!!! Not for anything other than it was about the classroom environment and the two articles were about adding beauty and active learning into classroom environments. :/

Ok. Guess I was too excited for quests this morning, due to yesterdays. Yesterday I did not have to quit any quests AND got over 3mil sP profit! Today - sigh UGH UGH UGH Today I had to quit two of Saggi and FOUR of Rumi!! AND Rumi asked for a loyalty shop sticker. WHAT??!! WHAT? NO! NO NO NO NO NO. NOT acceptable. I can deal with steamworks or esthers or even quest shop (And I hate when they ask for quest shop items). BUT NOT THE LOYALTY SHOP.

Ugh can't complete a quest for the life of me today. I was trying to be patient. It's not working right since it was tinkered with. I'm glad you got yours done earlier Kat!

Oh! I had the opposite of that, Kat. I had to read the book chapter in one class last semester and the articles didn't really show up on quizzes (minus a chapter or two where there wasn't a book reference) It is frustrating, and even at master's level, I feel like the classes didn't rely on reading heavily. I don't understand your Chapter 3 not being discussed, but such is the way of professors at times!

Yeah I am glad I got the quests done earlier. The last few I was trying to do in the afternoon (Drills and Battle) were soooo awful. Lag and time outs and everything. Hope its better this morning!!

I am slowly working my way through the New Years books hehehe. I earn them, I spend them. The way quests are going though, I might need to save like 100 NYT in case the kumos quests ask for NY items sheeeesh. I got asked for a LOYALTY item the other day!! AND quest shop items recently. I am often asked for steamworks or lounge items (those I don't mind) and carnival shop items come up a lot too in legacy quests.

That assignment was turned in, and so was another one I typed up the other day. I even did my responses last night after turning those two in. Now I am ahead. Next week I only have the assignment that says "in class" and I did read over it and try to look at two of the websites and the whole thing is a bit confusing, so I really hope the teacher explains before we have to do it IN CLASS (next Tuesday, the 20th). I think I am going to spend some of tonight/this weekend working on lesson plans and my PLP to keep myself going.

[edit] 610am Kumos quests went well. No lag, no bugs. I took a risk on TWO quests, both of which I should not have, but with all the tweaks happening, I wanted to give it a chance and see. I turned down 1 Saggi and 1 Rumi (both wanted items over a mil - 4.4m and 8m!!) I should have turned down the Maleria quest I did (288k item plus a 20k item got like 220k) and the other Saggi quest I did (289k item plus 72k item got 200k) But since they weren't SUPER over my limit (were not in the mils!)- I decided to risk and see if the sP rewards had been adjusted at all. Nope. Sticking to my 100k per item rule still for now. I did still make almost 2.5mil sP profit. AND the Wiz gave me an item which only has 1 other stocked in shops right now at 50mil. So, if that sells for that, well super nice!!!

Ah if I can help with my extra tokens, let me know! :D Although, I should go for beanbags to get closer to that collection.

Yeah the lag is pretty much non-existent on the Kumos site now! I was tempted to sell my Collectable Pete Plushie, but I went for the achievement instead. I think I got that from a Kumos quest! I did all but one because one of Rumi's was asking for a sticker that was ~500k (free gift). I had the sP, but would've lost out because I KNOW she wouldn't pay that much!

Yesterday the alarm went off and I cried because the weekend was so short. Alex laughed at me and said it was Thursday and I thought he was lying to me. It's just been such a longgggg week.

Kumos was nice and quick today! And I only had to quit two, both saggis I think.

Beth - yeah - student teaching is basically being out there practicing my job lol I have known for the past FOUR years that I can DO what I need to do in the classroom. However, I had to get the DEGREE in order to be hired to do it!! :P The only thing I have NOT learned is WSO and Infinite Campus. Both of which I get trained on after I get hired :P I do know how to use infinite campus from a parents point of view....just not as a teacher. And I know how WSO is SUPPOSED to work, just not all the finicky details on how to put everything in and connect it or whatever. I take work samples and assessments all the time and give them to my lead teacher for WSO. I hope you get a good group too!! I have a meeting on Tuesday with my University Supervisor (class teacher lol), for her to meet my Cooperating Teacher (my lead teacher, that I work with daily) and we can all ask questions or whatever. I have a few things marked in the syllabus and student responsibilities papers I want to get more details on.

Thanks for the token offer, but I'm good. For books, I don't care if it takes me years to get them all, but with the kumos tokens on top of the legacy tokens, I'm making major progress! LOL I always get everything ELSE before I get books. So I have all stickers, plushies, beanbags, treasure chest items. THEN i focus on books with other currency.

Yeah! I can take minor loss per quest, but not major loss. Because I know overall I get a good bit of sP profit (usually 2-4mil a day on each site) - so I am willing to do a little loss per quest. But I'm NOT buying super expensive stuff for quests to give me crap.

Awww Mieke, so sorry. Maybe this weekend will reset you a bit. Since its a 3-day. Kids here have 4 days, Tuesday is a Teacher Work Day - they have "at home learning" - we had to send home paper packets for them to work on.

Yeah I'm very pleased by taking less time to do quests! I do both quests on here and Kumos still. I'm just saving up, and probably should work towards getting better battle equipment. I don't know if saving for T11 items are worth it. Not yet because I think StoffTiger is T7 or T8.

I will probably go for my last battle challenger I can unlock (for now)-the Ancient Sphynx. I have Autumn and Winter of the two, so it's a matter of waiting or getting the other two reliefs now.

Right now my set for StoffTiger consists of: Bitter Harpoon Cannon, Demonic Blade, Malevolent Grenade, Reviver of the Lion, Item Hunters Bomb, Forj Tempered Kusarigama, Icy Freezing Wand of Doom, and Acorn Bomb. I gotta look into what to get at StoffTiger's level. And train her again.

I should've just waited until all challengers were available to buy year-round, but either way it was going to be some CSC! And of course I can't get event ones to stay year-round. Doesn't mean I can beat 'em all yet. I think I get up to 15 or 20 in the battle quests? Been a while since I tried. I know the big bosses prevent you from healing or freezing for some of them!

Yeah, I sometimes get a bunch of challengers with the black friday cash shop sales. Depends on what else I'm doing with my CSC I think most of the ones I don't have, I either can't fight them yet or don't have the correct weaponry to even try. Maybe one or two I COULD battle up to like 5x with. I was so excited when I got to level 15 on battle quests!! I'm regularly hitting 25 now, and sometimes get to 27 (depending on the challengers I get). Can't wait to get to 30 :o Oooh yea I hate the ones that keep you from healing! Ugh. I'm a hit type of battler - I defeat by hitting. I would have to learn specific weaponry/strategies to defeat some challengers and I am too lazy to do it, so I don't fight them LOL
