maybe that is it, but who knows!! I was very tired all day today, didn't sleep great last night, woke up several times.

Have my first zoom class tonight, nothing is STILL open, so can't do anything. My books JUST shipped (got an email today) so I haven't read the chapter yet - oh well! - the books usually come pretty fast so should be here in a day or two. My other class finally got fixed, but now no modules/assignments are showing eyeroll its one thing after another with this. But I know it will get fixed and there is no big rush anyway since its just the syllabus verification this week, well and some ethics thing, but I can do that later and I know she won't dock me points for not being able to do it, since she's just as aware of the situation lol I REALLY want to ask if I am the only one she is supervising tho, because it seems more and more like that is the case, but that just cannot be!! That would be way too weird, for ONE teacher to have ONE student out of a group of 15 and no other students from any other groups either? RIGHT? JUST TOO WEIRD. I may end up asking her anyway hahaha Normally the classes have a "people" tab and I can see who is in the class, this one does not ....

[edit] Class ended at 815 ish. We completed one assignment IN class. While in class we asked and got a lot of clarification on some assignments (for starters, they all got UNlocked! And then one assignment got a due date, one assignment got added as a separate assignment with a due date (she evidently wanted us to put 2 journals in one paper, but only had 1 due date, so we were trying to figure out if we had to do BOTH journals at the same time?? Or different dates??? So she just added a separate assignment with a later date for the 2nd one lol) AND she changed it from FOUR in the syllabus to only 2 journals. Sheesh. And then she pushed back 1 assignment since a lot of people don't have their books yet. I spent the next 30-45 minutes completing three assignments for the OTHER class LOL And emailed that instructor for clarification (not that I really got any) on what to include in my "planning calendar" for when I'll be doing what during student teaching. She just said that what I listed already was what she mainly needed and she'd let me know before she came out to the school. Great. Thanks :P

Turbotax is running ads in my area for their free version. Says to go to their site and check if you qualify for it but that's it. The site is Turbotax dot com if you don't have it saved. You may be able to get it for free after all. :)

Yeah. I saw it advertised as free last year too but it was ONLY for NEW people. Previously before that it was ONLY for very basic (W-2 only) returns - which mine is just SLIGHTLY more complicated than that so I got charged because I had the school stuff (T-99 or whatever)

LOL Now, I honestly wouldn't mind being a teachers pet. I probably am one they like a lot. I do my work ON TIME (or even AHEAD!!) I ask questions via email when I need clarification and notate when I did something I was unsure about and why I did it that way or whatever. I can KIND OF understand being the only student from MY group - IF she has students from other groups as well. It just is weird because I figure that it would have made more sense to at least separate us by campus among the three teachers or something - in which case ONE other student besides me should be with me, but nope. JUST me from our group. I got my books today so YAY I can start working on those assignments. I only really "have" to do one assignment since the other was pushed back, but I am planning to work ahead and do as much of it as I can because - well because I can and then I don't have to worry about completing anything hahahah. If I don't feel like working on it, I won't but if I feel like I can this weekend, I will.

ugh guys, I'm so exhausted after this week.. and I have no clue why.

And I disappeared (kind of) the past week and a half or so! I was on to acknowledge Luminaire and respond to thank yous, but I've just been questing and that's been it. I started internship again this week, and I still love it there! Just about two weeks and I'll be back to school. I need something productive to do more days of the week LOL!

Glad you're settling back in, Kat! I bet the kids were a little antsy at first because they had to get used to classroom time again, or that's what I imagine with little ones! Wow that is kind of lonely having only you be from your campus in that class. I know you'll succeed in your last classes though! The few months of your last semester will fly by :D

Could just be adjusting yourself back from holiday break Mieke? I know you had a break from working for a bit. It takes some time to adjust back to being somewhere if you had even a little more free time than usual (not assuming, just offering maybe that you have to get used to things not being the holidays now!)

Ah yes. Tax season. My mom will be using my computer because hers is 10 years old and dying. Well 11 years this year, but still. It's nice that they're offering free Turbotax for people who qualify!

Hopefully not getting sick Mieke!! :P (Flu is rampant down here right now!!) Its normal to be tired after a break, at the end of the first week!! I'm tired too! I didn't even LOOK at my; assignments last night, even tho I had planned to LOL

Beth - yes the kids were just a bit off, first week back. Not too bad honestly, this group is really pretty good and I've made sure I re-emphasis the rules and instructions before we do things (and this has honestly started prompting my lead teacher into doing the same thing a lot lol)

This morning we made our grocery list for tomorrow, and I did two loads of our laundry and made some brownies.

All I have to do for the rest of the day is wrap Lilys birthday presents and I plan on taking a very long bath LOL.

I've been "good" (have done some school work) and been busy this morning lol I have finished Kumos quests - BTW! What do you think of the new revamps? I am so thrilled its only 2 items per quest now! I only quit ONE quest today!! I am still UGH about Saggi there, I mean, over half of the other quests give better payout than he does. Its weird. I am slowly working on Legacy quests - but I took a bit of a break from questing and went to walmart. Got a few things.

Then I did my first journal entry and turned that in. I watched the video, and read my chapter, and am debating about what to write now for the assignment. Will probably read the chapter again and watch the video again first. Thankfully this book doesnt seem like it will put me to sleep like some of the others do! LOL I've got all the print-outs (I print off the instructions and due dates and use that paper for notes before typing up my assignments) for the next two weeks of upcoming assignments so I can either keep working, or at least stay on track :P

I was just posting about them, but I love that it's just two items now! Much better and easier.

Tomorrow we have to go to church, Lilys the liturgist.. and it's her birthday! And then I have to go to the grocery store.. ugh LOL.

I just started a load of laundry. Fun times. I plan to vacuum my bedroom and the hallway at some point today. I also told Nathan last night that he NEEDS to clean the dog pen AND take the trash to the dump today - so I guess I will be MAKING him do that whenever he wakes up. ALSO I will evidently need to remind him sigh that he needs to get the $ for his "rent" this week. I know Jan has 5 weeks (fridays), and he only has to pay me on 3 weeks if he does $100 a week - but get with it kiddo!! Do what you are supposed to do (preferably without mom TELLING you to do it!!!!!) :P Also I did most of the dishes yesterday, so there isn't as many to do today, but I hope I will finish doing the dishes today too (although that is never ending because as soon as I finish them there are more that got dirty/used)

edit: 1141 Ok I finished that assignment. Maybe later today or tomorrow I'll work on the next one/two :P The only thing due in my OTHER class (the student teaching) is to log my hours LOL But I do need to look at all those upcoming assignments and at least read over them.

Ooh only two items now? That is much less tedious than 4 on some of them or even 3 for Kumos questing! Thanks for the heads up!

Gotta love being on top of assignments Kat! Much less stress than procrastinating, which I did in my teens. Hope the chores aren't too straining! I hope he'll get it in his head somehow!

Ugh dishes is right. I've got one last sinkful (some new tinfoil pans I bought) to wash and I'm done. Oh well those and the bread machine pan. My towels are in the washer, but I haven't started that yet, going to wait until tomorrow or Monday after I get another shower or two to fill up the machine first. My clothing is in the basket in my room to be put away and well, it might stay there lol Sometimes I never get around to hanging or folding stuff up!! And I still haven't vaccumed. Ooops. Oh well. Maybe while dinner is cooking. I had to clean dog poop up - which is why I told Nathan to clean the pen (she's tracking it in because he hasn't cleaned the pen in a while) But it POURED down rain shortly after he woke up and poured for like two hours - so he got a break on dog poop cleaning and trash taking. sigh I told him the poop HAD to be cleaned tomorrow when it dried a little and the trash HAS to go Tuesday when the dump opens again (STUPID HOURS - its open three days a week, Tues, Fri (12-7) and Sat (7-1)- and he can't go Fri since he has to go to work)

I am completely done with all quests and spent all my NY Tokens again buying books... might spend my onhand sP might wait until tomorrow (I try to do it every other day at least, so I can do Sarah's quests each day too lol)

Kat, you are the perfect student. You are a teacher's dream so they were pronbably fighting over you in the teacher's lounge.:p Perhaps you should send one of your books that put you to sleep to mieke so she can catch a few zzz. 😂 I hope you start feeling better, Mieke. Vacations can leave everyone out of sorts. whatevermaycome - my computer died earlier this year so hubby built me a new one geared towards my special needs. It has a crap graphics card but everything else maxed out. It also has no monitor or mouse. Instead I have a headset and keyboard. It works beautifully. Good luck to yourMom getting her taxes done with your computer. :D

LOL!! Mieke totally needs my sleepy books. I do too. I had a hard time falling asleep last night. And now I'm up early. Ugh. However, I return every book - I am on a "book bundle" plan - they charge a set rental fee per semester, and supply all the books I require and then I return them. I was too lazy to bother searching the book store to see how much the books actually would cost to buy - to see if I would save $. I think this semester I should have. Because I think the bundle price is probably way higher than the 2 books price this time, but oh well. Normally I had like 3-5 books per semester depending on the classes. Plus if I buy them at the book store I have to return them to the book store, if they are returnable - and the last time I did that at my other college I really didn't get any $ back. And the 2 bookstores for THIS college are over an hour drive away each. So I just did the book bundle, and get my books mailed to me, and pay for shipping to get them and then to return them.

That is an awesome computer set up, sounds like it works great for you and so sweet of your hubby to set it up for you!! Wes (Katies fiancé) set up computers for her and himself to game on. They have some pretty impressive ones. I am happy with my basic HP "All in One" desktop. I only use my computer for schoolwork (so my canvas portal/school portal pages and microsoft word), facebook and here, 90% of the time. I might browse other shopping sites (amazon) or something now & then.

Mieke - how often did you refill the bathtub during your 5 hour bath!!?? lol I am usually only in for about an hour - but my tub is small and I end up feeling cramped or cold (the parts that aren't in the water). Another "someday" would be to get a slightly taller/wider tub whenever I do get around to replacing that tub!! I can't make it longer sadly, as it has to fit in that area.

Edit: 615 am Ugh. Finished kumos quests. I had to turn down FIVE of them today due to high prices. :(

Uhhhh I refilled it probably 4-5 times. Well, not FILLED, but I put more hot water in that many times haha.

I'm lucky in that it's a pretty deep bathtub, (with jets! Even though I don't really use them often) though I still spin around like a mermaid sometimes to make sure everything is warm :P I read an entire book and no one bothered me and it was fabulous.

The computer is pretty nice. His idea was why spend money on parts that I really don't need and he was right. Thankfully, he can flip a switch and have my display show up on his monitor so he canfix whatever I crash. 😂

- 55 hours? you must have been ojne big prune! I always loved swirling around like a mermaid in the tub. It was so fun. :D

- The book bundle sounds like it would be nice to have. I didn't have that option when I was in school. My school just sent me whatever books were required and they were mine to do with as I pleased when the class was done. I sold some and kept some, but I didn't keep any of the boring ones. :P

Question for you all - When you get boosters, what do you do with them? Do you use them immediately or save them?

Also, Kat, which kumos quests did you turn down? Saggy? And you said the kumos quests have changed, that they're only asking for 2 items per quest. Are you serious? Pete used to ask for 4 items, and he's now down to 2? Woot!! :D

- yesterday I had to turn down one of Maybel's, 1 of Saggi's, 1 of Rumi's and 2 of the Library quests :/ I USUALLY turn down quests if an item is more than 100k sP. Some of those items were several hundred k and one was in the millions :o (sometimes, if an item is just over the limit I'll get it anyway). I do this because most individual quests don't return that much, but I still usually get 2-3mil sP profit daily from kumos, and slightly more than that on legacy (I get MORE on legacy due to weekend quests!)

The book bundle IS nice, except when I wonder if I could have got the books cheaper than the charge. (Its not a small charge!!) Since I have a tier 12 pet, I use my boosters on that pet, except for the intelligence ones - I sell those. I have no need for more intelligence since all my pets are read to.
