Yeah one day someone asked how many we had and we started counting. Got lost partway and just started counting one shelf and multiplied by number of shelves for each bookcase, and added or subtracted for paperbacks or hardbacks. Of course most are paperbacks. And a lot are two deep to a shelf, and a few are three deep in the biggest bookcase. So its a generalized number but I think pretty close. I donated my entire Britannica set and then had to throw out several hundred books because of water damage afterwards. Def lightened the load... lol Are you in the US? I'm in North Central Texas. Your weather sounds like ours. Barf.

That sounds delicious. lol But in general pirates don't really interest me. Gotta say vampires (other than the blood rage) just seem so much more compelling overall. Except the really old movies. They were entertaining but hardly sexy. lol

Sorry, I poofed. I have been on, but sick and busy. Fireworks air is bad in so many ways. I also had events I went to. An anime convention and a concert and I think a play or two. Fun but draining. Anyhow. I am updating the games and replying now.

Everyone here is doing okay. Stomach flu is done. But it always seems that stuff starts to calm down and get back to a calm 'normal' and then something else comes up. Today it is me not feeling great. Had a bad night. Hopefully this too shall pass.

I am ok(ish). Still a bit scared and mad because he did this to me. While at home i lock my door so i feel safe. Just saw him, as i was talking to a neighbour downstairs, and i became scared again, went straight home and closed stuff. It's insane someone makes you feel like so scared all the time.

They (landlord, police) are working on it and i do hope they now take steps to remove him from my building. As my landlord are really fed up with him as he is gone to far, as i am. But as always things take a while (laws)...

I love TJ Klune so much. His books I've read so far make me cry (in a good way). I really want to dig into his four book series next but have other books to finish first. I love libraries. I do a lot of book buying at used book stores, but I do think moving forward it's a good plan to focus on utilizing our libraries and only buying books I want for a specific reason. I grew up with a "library" in our front room and bookshelves in my room, so I think in part it doesn't feel like home without a "library" lol. We did go to the library weekly though!

I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through. I would be so anxious.
