- I poof'd into another smut book. Itt's finished now and I'm trying to find something new to read. Not having very good luck. It's good to keep them wild, they'll survive better that way. :D

Aww! Yeah, I wouldn't imagine to try to pet them but I love that they have a center that is helping them before they are released.

1. Do you prefer to be called by your username or another name? Have you had any other usernames prior to this one? I prefer to be called by my UN here and on the Discord! My OG UN was "RawrRayRay" which may give you an idea of how long I've been on Subeta xD

2. What are your interests on Subeta? (Human Avatars/Pets/Battle/Restocking etc. ) Pets are my ! I am an animal person irl and love my little pixels lol. I mostly work on creating "completed" pets (character / story, profile, TC, art / overlay) and getting them nominated for the spotlight. I've also started working on a job goal for everyone! Other than that I mostly tinker around in the wardrobe or chat, and of course spend time on quests and games to raise funds for all the pet things.

3. How often do you play on site and will you be active within the group? I'm on everyday lol. Most days atm I'm active on and off all day and spend an embarrassing a good amount of time on the site. When I go back to working more consistently I'll still be on daily but probably not for as much total time! So yes, I'd be pretty active!

4. Why are you interested in joining Kindred Spirits? Are you currently in any other groups? Honestly? The site is a little quiet and lonely, especially being on so much. I have a group I created (Weekly Pet Prompts) but it's also been pretty quiet so far this summer. I'd like to find some active users to connect with and chat with. It makes the site feel more fun when you have friends!

5. Tell us a bit about you! (This doesn't have to be lengthy or detailed you can save that for your introduction in the group! Think of this as an ice breaker question. ) Um, well I'm 33 and have been on the site for over 17 years. I'm married and have no tiny humans (yet) but do have five dogs and three cats who are my absolute beloved family. I'm an animal welfare and behavior coach and have worked with over 30 species (I worked in a zoo before starting my own company). I've taken some time not-off-but-working-less because my mental health was collapsing thanks to burnout (along with BPII, GAD, PTSD, AuDHD). I'm a pretty open person and try to be a safe and positive place for others. I really love to read! ATM I'm working through the TOG series by SJ Maas. My best friend turned me on to her books and is re-reading TOG with me (it's my first time). She's loving my updates as I hit certain plot points lol. I also watch a lot of TV. My comfort / favorite shows and movies are LOTR and The Hobbit, Bobs Burgers, Princess Mononoke, and the Poirot films. ATM we're watching Star Trek Discovery. I don't play many video games because I get sick from certain screen-movement stuff (esp. 1st person) but do tend to play Pokemon around the holidays. Creativity-wise I like writing (but don't have the best discipline) and have been learning coding (for subeta). I'd like to start drawing again and maybe even be able to make some art for my pets! I like the outdoors but it's so dang hot atm that outdoor time is mostly reserved for the thankfully shady and large backyard. I don't think I saved anything for the group intro xD

welcome. No, sorry. I went to a seal rescue center last sunday, that is what we where chatting about. In fact i am a nurse and work in an eldery retirement home. Nightshift for me in a few hours, 6:25pm here and i live in the Netherlands.

Ohhh gotcha. That's really cool that you were able to visit the rescue center. Seals are really cool (and cute) animals. Wow, nursing seems like it can be tough work and there's a lot to know! Being a nurse in any role does so much good for others, but I can't help but imagine an extra goodness that comes from improving the quality of life and possibly even transition to rest for the individuals you support.

We're about 6hrs apart in time zone! It's 12:30 here lol. One of my clients is a nurse who works nightshift! She took time off but is just now going back. I can imagine working nightshift some days of the week and swapping around to a daytime schedule other days can be tricky. That's what she's doing at least - a few nightshifts and then the rest of the week she's on a "normal" schedule with her one year old.

- Oh, but I do have a book.You should know that I always have a bbook. I'm just not sure how to tell youu about it. It's a smutty retelling of the Peter Pan story withHook as the love interest. It certainly has me looking at Disney in a ddifferent way right now. roflmao!

A book would be better I'm sure. lol I have a personal library of about 5,000 books, and together with my best friend and roommate over 12,000. We have bookshelves in every room except the kitchen and my bathroom. :) Only a few are non-fiction. I've read most of them over the years. But I don't get to read much now because of migraines. I have eclectic taste, but my favorite genres are Science Fiction and Fantasy. What are yours?

The footloop has gone to far and i called the cops on him last night. I have never been so scared for my life. I was riding my bike to work, nightshift, and waved my hand that i was turning right. He was in a car, came besides me and accused me for giving him the finger, he chased me, got out of his car trying to grab me and told me he would get me. I got away, but was late for work but my co-wokers where so nice. i am fine, work was safe and home to but still scared and mad. Called the cops on him. Today i called my landlord, neighbourhoud police, police and filled a report on him and told them it was enough now as i never been so scared in my life. They are busy with it and i do hope they will make big steps now. As i said for me it's enough and can't go on like this. The police also says if i feel unsafe, he is busy again i should call 112 (our 911).

it was nice and because we paid to visit they use that money for food, vet, etc. So win win. 6 hour time zone, where do you live? And i like being a nurse but some rules and stuff don't make it fun sometimes. PLus i hate nights... but just 1 a month.

Oh wow! I don't know how many we have, but I'm sure it's not that much! We have to consolidate because dogs lol, so most are in our front room in bookcases that have glass doors and then some are also on a bookcase in my husband's office. We have more fiction than non-fiction too, but we do have a decent amount of non-fiction on certain topics, notably wolves and animal behavior. I too have eclectic taste! The majority is probably sci-fi and fantasy though! Our bigger "collections" are the Sarah J Maas collection, the Brandon Sanderson collection, a lot of (but not all of) the DiscWorld books by Sir Terry Pratchett. Some others I really like are TJ Klune, James Herriot, Star Wars Legends novels, and mystery type books (Harlan Coben for example)! I used to read "The Cat Who" books with my mom when I was younger and just randomly found a book series at a local used book store that is similar but dog themed and I'm excited to read them between my current series (TOG by Maas) and the next big series (all of Sanderson o.o)!

I'm so sorry to hear about that terrifying encounter, it's incredibly unfair to have someone make your living situation and day-to-day life so anxiety-inducing. I pray those with the power and responsibility to help do so ASAP and things are resolved. I'm glad nights are only once a month then! I'm in the US on the east coast!
