I used to give my cats ice cubes to play with in the summer. they are funny when they are batting them around. (This was when I was a teen and had about 30 cats - lived on a farm.)

Many thanks for the welcome and compliment~ It's just a name I've gone by online for many, many years now. That sounds like a really fun challenge. I want to get back into reading more again. Lately I watch stuff and play games more than I get to do any actual reading.

I know some weeks I'll knock out more than one book but I try to stick for longer novels. Do you have a favorite you've found through your challenge so far if I can ask?

i agree with you both. I was so mad yesterday. Ok you are sick, don't sleep in and call me on time. I still haven't heard from her. Next time if i visit i will only buy train ticket when on the station to her. And i enjoyed my creative time.

Just signed up for geocache... walk around the neighbourhood or other cities and find hidden caches and some of them are hard to find or fun to find. So far no luck here, i see them on my app in a map of the area and i see i am close but still can't find one lol! I need more practise

how is your son doing with his bike?

well we are a friendly chatty bunch. But because of time zone (europe here) it sometimes takes a while if someone anwers but we always do. And chat what you want.. we do lol!

- I think you're right to do it that way next time, no wasted money on a ticket then. :) My son has given up on bike riding for now. He tried to ride it twice and then ddeclared that the streets around our home are too dangerous for him to ride on and so he's going to wait until there are more sidewalks/bike paths before he tries again. facepalm We live in the middle of the country. There aren't going to be sidewalks around here any time soon. It's ride on the berm/sidewalk when there is any or ride in the road. He knew this when he bought the bike. I warned him the roads here wouldbe dangeerous for a bicyclist. He had to figure it out himself. :/

i have no clue what that is letterboxing... I tried to google it but not a good answer. I did found the cache near my hose, with help.. Glad i had help as i was so confused what to do.. lol Understand it better now,

yeah i hate to waste money... And i still haven't heard from her... not very nice.

Oh boy your son.. lol He needs a flat piece of road and keep practice. We also learned it that way and the street where i learned it was not flat but with bumps, etc. And it took me weeks before i could do it correct. Maybe he needs side wheels so i can get the feeling of the bike and when he feels comfy remove the, That's how we do it here (with little kids who need to learn.. lol)

- The road outside our aprtment is flat and long. It runs into a major road out to the beach and that is the road he's afraid of. I asked him if training wheels would help and his response was very negative. So, I don't think that will help either. I think he'll try again, once his dreams of bicycle lanes strikes again. This is one of those "I told you so moments" that come up with kids where I keep my mouth shut and let them figure it out on their own because if I don't, it'll go sideways and I don't want that. :D

I am in Europe and it does sounds much like geocaching. No stamp but a log where I can write my name and date and something a gift...

That sounds like a lot of fun though! I like a good scavenger hunt. Last I checked, there really aren't any Geocaches near me but I am keeping an eye out. Maybe I'll get lucky in the bigger, better cities/states. Do you plan on finding more in your surrounding area?

it is fun, shame some are hidden for premium members (paid members), not going to do that. I found one in my city centre this afternoon, had to find 3 clues and then i got the cache. It was fun, had lunch later with a friend in the city.

Oh i don't mind you may peek. Still no word., so rude! And i decided to to say anything, send a card, etc until she makes a move. I wonder how long it will take
